Our door didn’t lock to our room. we were charged $235 for one night for 2 adults in a basic room. I told the receptionist that the door didn’t lock she wasn’t able to move us or give us a discount, the Hotel was full for the night. I feel there was no reason why the receptionist was unable to give a discount when your unable to leave your room to enjoy other places in town when you have to take all your valuable stuff with you. The receptionist didn’t even investigate to see if the door could be fixed. Since that location is right next to the Main freeway, they can charge a higher price for rooms. Way over priced hotel. If you want to go out to eat or Shopping, you will want to drive, I would not recommend walking because you are right next to the freeway’s and busy side roads. UPDATE 9-25-2023 I had to call the hotel 2 times as i never received a return call back to see if my issue could be resolved. The manager Shantel was VERY RUDE to me and said that she would not give us a discount for that inconvenience and then Hung up on me. Disrespectful staff! We will not stay here again and this place is expensive!

Great stay. After 30 hours of driving the mattress was a spiritual event as the mattress comfort and pillows were fantastically comfortable. Bathroom was soundproof and I could not hear toilet flush or shower running. Breakfast was good. You get what you pay for and I was very 😌 satisfied.

The hotel was terrible experience. Room wasn’t top clean, furniture was partially broken, tapestry on the wall detached. Incredible overpriced for what you actually get. Oil from Raffinerie close by was smelling in the entire facility. The whirlpool in the pool area was so loud that was almost impossible to enjoy swimming. We had two kids and reconsidered if we should switch the hotel or not. We stayed because we already paid for the room and won’t deal with further trouble. We went right the to beds and woke up 4am to proceed with our road trip. The room costs $175. I feel the hotel should pay people to stay in! I don’t recommend this facility. It should be turn down.

I ended up here because roads were bad. The night staff was wonderful, but when I asked for a late check-out, the front desk told me that when roads were bad, management made you pay for a second night to stay longer. Having met the day staff, I'm guessing that they are more likely to scold their staff for admitting this than they are to change their policy. Breakfast, both waffle makers were "out of order," which I think means "we didn't want to make waffle batter." In the middle of the night, I got three phone calls in which no one was on the other line, but I could here machines running as if someone was calling me from the utility room. All in all, this is not a place that takes care of travelers, at least not tonight. Not a big deal for my little family, but could be a nightmare for others. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Here during snow storm new years 2023. Interstate shut down, everyone stuck and this place wants to take advantage of its guests and more than doubled the room rates!! Not only price gouging but they don't care about the guest's personal things, like vehicles. While cleaning the snow out of the parking lot they decided to point the snow blower at my husband's semi truck and literally blow the snow directly on the truck!! Won't be back

If you have to stop in Rawlins for the night, I would recommend looking into other properties across the street (IHG or Marriott). Had issues with the A/C (that they claimed they fixed - giving me a box fan was their "fix") and offered me a smaller room which didn't work for my family either after traveling all day. The room was still 74 degrees the next morning. The morning clerk at the front desk was very personable too, quite sure she is representing this property well since it seemed like we were interrupting her morning by checking out. Even as tired as I was from driving, I should have kept going to the next town to stay the night.

We enjoyed this hotel so much we made sure to stay here again for our trip home. On our first trip everything was perfect. Wonderful staff, clean and quiet room, loved it and got a good night's sleep. Our return visit was almost as good, although the room we stayed it was a bit thread worn. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative, and this isn't the hotel's fault, is that Rawlins is just a few miles from an oil refinery which you will smell from time to time. But the staff and facilities more than make up for it.

We checked in after a long drive and the night staff was very kind to us-- they offered us water bottles and got us in quickly. I wish I remembered her name but she also helped another gentleman very kindly. The daytime staff, however, specifically manager Shantel Wyant was rude and unkind. We have been staying in different hotels all week for our road trip and working with her was our worst experience. She rolled her eyes at our kids multiple times, told me that I have only 20 minutes to grab breakfast but went ahead and happily let another mom and child get breakfast an hour after it was supposed to be done. I asked for extended checkout (which the night staff said they weren't allowed to make a decision on) and she said a flat No and had staff knocking on our door while she was calling our room to leave. We had a kid in the bathroom and she knew we were all packed and had brought our car out too. Note to corporate and owners- give more respect and power to your night staff because they were clearly kind to not just me but the other guests that came as well. Your day time staff, needs training on race, religion and ethnicity.

Friendly staff. I was able to check in quickly. Room was nice but had a very small TV. The fridge was a little loud as well. The shower floor creaked when taking a shower and the shower head sucked. Low pressure and needed cleaned or replaced. I like the Hampton Inns, this one needs attention.

Check in (night lady) was very nice & got us checked in quickly. Room / bathroom - clean but dated Check out - just like the other reviews say about the rates ask for your receipt. Upon check in we were told a rate for the night and on check out the receipt was $30 more. When asked about it the manager was rude ruuuude & because of that we will not return!

I'll say first that every employee that I came across was pleasant and professional. The hotel and surrounding area was nice. I dropped it to 3 stars because the room wasn't really taken care of. We didn't have enough towels, only 1 set, no cups and3rd trip downstairs to get coffee. I can deal with that, what worried me was what other shortcuts the cleaning staff took. Was my bedding changed etc?

I am a frequent Hampton customer, but I was disappointed in this stay. The rooms and hotel are quite dated. Carpets and furniture need to be cleaned, tiles broken in bathroom. The bed was clean, but it is time to replace the mattress. This hotel is very convenient to the Interstate, there are several dining options nearby, and a gas station next door.

Our room was huge! The hotel is very nice. The workout room is small and one of the treadmills was broken. The breakfast is good. The location is very good for passing through, just right off the freeway.

Very dog friendly! Rooms were clean and well taken care of. The free breakfast was delightful. We'll definitely stay again while passing through.

Hands down one of the best hotels we have stayed in…ever! Mainly because of their staff! They was so nice and even had a treasure box with little toys for kids!

We stayed here a few years ago and had a really good time, we booked again for our road trip expecting the same how wrong we were. Went to check in at 3 no staff anywhere I called and shouted no one came I could here taking from the back room obviously too busy to deal with customers. Eventually a young man came and got somebody from the back, no apology very curt or personality. We were given a room on the second floor, nothing to complain about the room very good Hilton standard, then I heard children screaming and dogs barking this went on for some time. I would have complained but as we were undressed and very tired thought it would pass quickly, it didn’t. Breakfast was up to the excellent standard no problems there, on check out the same receptionist didn’t ask if we had a good stay or was everything ok. This was not a cheap nights stay but we will not be using this hotel, again, maybe some staff training would be good.

Nice, clean hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. It’s located just far enough away from the noise of the highway. The room could use a little updating and the walls are a bit thin but the room had everything I needed for a good night sleep.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Might seem harsh but it is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Walking in, the entire lower floor smelled so strongly of gasoline, I immediately felt lightheaded and started of feel a headache coming on. Walked to the front desk and told them that there was a super strong gas smell. They told us they were aware and it had something to do with the gas station NEXT DOOR effecting their ventilation, okay? Whatever, never heard of that before. Made our way to the room on the second floor and my skin immediately started breaking into hives. Eyes, nose, and lips became chapped, it was so dry we could hardly breathe. Headache got worse and we both felt a little dizzy. Mildly concerned about CO2 poisoning, we went back downstairs and saw a firefighter in the lobby. Obviously hoping that the hotel would evacuate if it wasn’t up to code. It was late and we just wanted to make it through the night. Went back upstairs, we could not sleep, it was actually difficult to get a full breath the air was so dry. I ended up opening the window even though it was 12 degrees outside. Immediately felt better. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re trying to end up as one of those co2 positioning horror stories on the news. Update: called the service number provided in another review, that’s the number to the hotel front desk, tried to give the manger (shantel) feedback and she just proceeded to argue and discredit our experience and concern. This place obviously has zero regard for guest safety and the staff have an inability to handle constructive criticism. The hotel stinks like gas, management doesn’t care, spend your money elsewhere.

Excellent place, parking, employees, and was location all great! I did not think it was worth $254 for 1 night though. You don’t even know you’re in Rawlins at this place. Breakfast could be better, but not bad. Would stay s as fain if it’s the only place left in town and price wasn’t an issue.

We stayed here twice and the staff have been lovely each time. We loved the breakfast omelettes! The pet fee is $50 which is more than we paid per person for our room for two adults and two children, so just bear that in mind. Clean and comfy rooms, would stay again. Thank you team!

Where to even start.. 1) no one at the front desk and the number they gave didn’t work at check in 2) they didn’t honor both reservations because a) the system overbook them b) I did it wrong (even though I had a confirmation number and when I got here the assistant said I had booked two rooms c) another hotel employee actually overbooked them due to walk ins d) the new computer system is confusing. 3) they told me they would refund me in the morning bc the system makes them process refunds after checkout. Spoiler alert. They won’t bc a) they never told me that b) they didn’t know I stayed here that’s why they can’t refund me c) that’s “not the story the front desk staff told them” d) the system was the problem not them. All leading to they will check the video to speak to the other hotel guest that heard the conversation and told me he would vouch for the horrible service and what they said last night. So, when I asked when the manager would launch this “investigation” ha she said when she had time. Literally no one is in the lobby. Over it!! Nice hotel for those that had rooms honored. Deplorable service.

Meh. For around $270 a night with taxes for a family of 4, I would expect more. Decently clean I guess though furnishings getting a bit outdated. Service ok. Not especially friendly, but breakfast was the biggest issue. No juice of any kind and not even a sign saying out of order, so everyone just throwing away empty cups I imagine. Good coffee but no water dispenser as it only had ice in it. Would not stay here again. Disappointing 🙁

The room was pretty nice but most of the furniture had deep scratches on it. Decent bathroom and the beds are fine. If you like a firm pillow bring your own as all of mine were super soft. The AC unit is a little noisy to sleep near and the blinds like most places lets some light in since they can't be overlapped.

Hotel was clean and quite and easy access to the highway. They except pets which is great and there was no extra fee for our dog. Beds were comfy. Breakfast could have been better but it was free so no complaints. Plenty of food options close by. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. Amazing staff. The young man who checked us in upgraded our rooms to get us close to our travel partners. Also, had an issue with power and within 5 minutes we were moved to an equally nice, clean room. Breakfast was really good.

Good location and quieter than I thought it would be. It's an older Hampton and showing some wear but it appeared clean. Breakfast options weren't as good as other Hamptons- eggs were bland, turkey sausage was okay, no muffin choices or yogurt we've had at others. Orange juice dispenser was out of order so we missed OJ and didn't care for the other options.

Good hotel at a fair value overall. Would stay here again and would recommend this hotel and Rawlins, WY as a stopping point for the night. Rooms were clean and the hotel premises was clean inside and out. Good parking and easy access to the highway. McDonalds and gas stations within walking distance.

The rooms are a little dated but well maintained. The service was good. I loved being able to use my app to check in and out! We stop in Rawlins every year as a midpoint to the Tetons. This is one of the better hotels.

We needed a good place to stop on our way to see our children in UT and this fit the bill. We love Hampton Inn beds and the fitness center is typically in good shape and this location did not disappoint. The front desk was friendly and we had a good night’s sleep

Employee Austin to my rescue. Great Stay. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. All things I've come to depend on with my Hampton Stays. What made this stay different?? Austin Did! After getting 2 hours down the road after this stay, I recognized that I left something of value in my room. I immediately called the hotel and Spoke to Austin. Super polite and friendly. Austin promptly went to the room I stayed in to search for said item. I waited on the line for no more than a couple of mins and she returned and assured me that the item was indeed there. she then made arrangement to have item delivered to my home. I am beyond appreciative for this level of service. The item was merely my makeup bag. Although most would perceive as invaluable, Austin made it a point to meet me where I was at and put value on the lost item. She quickly observed how important this was to me Received the package at my home within a week and was beyond grateful to have received it. Thanks Austin for making that happen and going the extra mile.

Love hampton, friendly helpful employees, delicious breakfast. They are the cleanest hotel chain. Rooms feel so comfortable because they go out of their way to clean. Beds are so comfortable with tons of pillows.

Comfortable bed and clean linens. Carpet could use a cleaning. Young lady at the front desk was very friendly and breakfast was great. Hot eggs, sausage, waffles and oatmeal. Cereal, fruit, toast, and yogurt are also available

I’ve been staying at this hotel for business travel regularly since 2020. I’ve had so many good experiences and they never fail to provide amazing service. Yesterday I stayed and needed some business paperwork emailed to me. Haley Tuttle said she hadn’t done it before but would figure it out and it send over. She did just that and came through for me. I would recommend this location.

I had a medical emergency and was not expected to pull through but with the diligence of staff and quick thinking and caring on all their parts I made a full recovery. I would not be here today if it was not for the staff and community of police, EMTs and hospital doctors and staff who came together and I call it a miracle of a wonderful community working together. The service is hands down the best I have ever received in all my travels as a nursing home inspector. The managerial staff went beyond belief to make my stay perfect and I will always be grateful and humble for my new found Hilton family. This is what true America is about and I am so grateful for such great treatment over several days I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality and generosity.

Not bad but the best rooms are on the top floor anything lower is a bad night of rest. Heavy-footed people, people with kids all you will hear is stomping. Not really the hotel's fault but they should have taken that into consideration when building the hotel. But once I moved from the second floor to the 3rd I had a fantastic few nights before leaving. Great customer service, I will not be able to judge the breakfast because I was around to try the breakfast. It is better than the Fairfield Inn.

This is a wonderful hotel! The rooms are very nice and clean. The public areas are also very clean, tidy, and well organized. We stayed here with a large tour group, and the staff were very helpful and well prepared. They had all of our room keys ready when we arrived, and they were very friendly and helpful through the entire stay.
