Excellent food even better service. Our server Katy was very welcoming and helpful. Easy to find right off of Blue Ridge and 66th street in Raytown. It was not too crowded on this sunny Saturday afternoon that made it easy to park near the door. We were not too hungry and decided to try some appetizers, Little burgers and an order of Crab Rangoon was very tasty and quite filling. We went there for the pool tables but really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. I'm an sure we will return to this sleeper in Raytown. Update. I've been coming here regularly since we first discovered it. We like the casual atmosphere and the comfort food.

Was looking for a local place to go when I read the reviews and decided to check this place out… I took my kid in for an early dinner and we immediately loved the ambiance and the laid back vibe. We ordered the Thai-phoon raggoons for an appetizer and they were SO GOOD with the Thai chili sauce! I could’ve ordered several orders of them and been happy with eating them alone! My daughter ordered the Voodoo Mac and Cheese as her entree… I tried a bite of it and OMG IT WAS SSOOOOO DELICIOUS!!! Perfect spices, so cheesy! It was good! I ordered the Frisco Patty Melt and it did not disappoint either!!! Idk where they get their cheeses or what their trick is with it, but it is so FIRE!!! The bread was perfectly grilled and had a crunch, and the garlic butter that they had on it set it all the way off!!! Ashley (the bar tender/waitress) was so polite. Even when it got SUPER busy later that night (I dropped off the kid and went back for some adulting time) she managed to balance everything without missing a beat. They have a couple of dart boards and a couple of pool tables in case you’re feeling competitive. This might just be my new favorite spot!

Only came for the food. We waited for close to and hour only for them to mess up the order and we had to wait even longer for them to correct it. When we finally got the food, part of it was no longer hot. The fish and fries was soggy and the pizza looked sad. The bartenders attitude was rude and she only seemed to favor the regulars that were coming in.

First time there,didn't get any food, the crowd was ok. ..Saturday night,a lot of country music, they have pool tables, drinks were decent,I will go back on a Friday, everytime I pass this place its crowded except the night I actually stop. .but I will be back. Stay tuned

Soooo this my second time here...first I dine in this time was a to go order. Not sure that I like picking up my own order out the window then get alllll the way home to see I have no fries. Not sure how that happened but refunding me was no problem...now the wings was ok....just ok for me I have been wanting the wings again for awhile then it came to be ok...missed the bullseye

Stopped and placed a to-go order for a tenderloin sandwich and tater tots, and OMG no machine pressed pork patty here. I mean this was the real deal, thick cut hand breaded fried to golden brown perfection mouth full. The only minor draw back for me personally was it needed a little bit of seasoning, but the taste was still great, and the tots were the same as any other. The service was very friendly and fast as well. I will be adding this place to my "Go To" list of tenderloin places for sure.

1$t time here and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.. Kaylee was an awesome bartender &hostess. I went after work and had 4rounds of something (Kaylee suggested &made) and it was quite scrumptious... Also the long island was doing what it was supposed to do😊(my apologies for not knowing the name of my drink but, it was $4 happy hour cocktail)!! Also, me&my fiance had the philly (he said was delicious) and I had the cod&tots (cook about 30seconds longer and we'll have a WINNER)!!! also got the CAJUN MACARONI which was awesome (per my Mother)... Nice space and a friendly atmosphere!!!!

I asked for hot wings and I got plain wings so🤷🏾‍♀️😂. Still ok tho just not that tasty but the sliders were great.

This place is Awesome! Nice bar and restaurant, easy to find and always dependable. Chef is amazing (Ken maybe? I am old and forget stuff). Try the Fire Bird sandwich (fried is best ) and any side, you cant go wrong. Everything is very good and everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. Would highly recommend and I drive 40 minutes to get there!

Food is delicious! Service at the bar is mediocre at best which seems to be a theme at both their locations. Sunday service is fantastic though and food is always on point, kitchen staff is amazing; if only they could serve us our drinks! All around great bar but service through the week needs a LOT of improvement.

I came here because of the pictures of the hot wingz on Google. Originally, I called in to get a to go order but there was only 1 cook so to go orders could not be taken. Seems like a cool place to come eat, drink, chill, throw some darts, shoot some pool, watch the sports, catch up on some local news, listen to some music, hear people laugh and talk, see new faces and meet new people. The bar tender doubled as a waitress which was real smooth she didn't skip a beat on the re-fills at the perfect time. Our onion rings were very hard, however we didn't complain because of the really cool atmosphere we didn't want to be the bearers of bad news so we just chilled and enjoyed the time there😉🥰

Okay y'all. This little hole in the wall had some dang good food! We really enjoyed all of it! But oh my goodness the mac and cheese pizza was phenomenal! We also enjoyed the chicken, Philly cheese steak sandwich and tots! The drinks were also great and strong. We also thought the price was great considering how good everything was. The environment is a little edgy but don't miss out on great food and drinks because of it!

Great food great pricing and good general atmosphere. The two staff members who helped us out were extremely friendly. Ordered a monster of a burger it was delicious would highly recommend for a good lunch place or dinner spot. I'd love to thank Katie and Ken for excellent service.

Nice little hole in the wall bar. Passed through kc and stopped in to get food which was pretty good and considering kc prices, pretty reasonable. Very diverse crowd, seems all are welcome. Good pool tables, good food, good music. Really good burgers.

Buffalo Chicken sandwich was insanely good! Highly recommend! The music was loud enough to hear but me and my friend were still able to talk easily. The waitress were very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is very good and laid back. Clean, although maybe not a date location for impressing someone.

Not from the area. Just picked somewhere I could get wings. Atmosphere is very bar centric, ie loud music and drinking. 90% of seating is high top. The service and the food saves this place. Despite there being 20+ customers and only one waitress manning the tables and bar, she was fast and efficient. So was the cook. I ordered wings and steak and cheese sandwich. Some of the best wings I’ve ever eaten. Crispy and great flavor. The sandwich was delicious as well. Will definitely go back here if I ever have to come back to KC.

Had lunch today, one Girl took care of the entire Bar and it was busy for lunch. She did a good job but could have used an extra hand. The food was good but was pricey for bar food. $15 for a Burger seems to be the new norm, it seemed it wasn't that long ago it used to be $5. I don't blame this Bar it's just inflation. I used to go to places like this more often when prices were lower. Now it's a rare treat. The Dirty Bird is a good Dive Bar, I don't go to Bars as often as I used to but that's just a sign of the times.

I truly only come here for the food. Like it’s not just good “for bar food”. They could easily gussy up their plates and serve them in a nicer brick and mortar on the OP side for more money, that’s how good it is. I’ve never got food I disliked here. Service is just fine but that’s not a negative things. It’s a dive bar and it stay busy so the girls have their hands full. They still get drinks and food to you accurately with a smile, can’t ask for much else. Prices are reasonable and anyone here b!ching about cleanliness…yeah it’s a DIVE bar? The bathrooms are always clean though so at least it is where it matters.

My boyfriend ordered for me 2 days ago. I got the wings basket which came with 3 wings , fries, celery, carrots and 2 toast. The fries were soggy and had no salt on them, the wings weren’t spicy and were hard to bite through. The meat was either old or undercooked. And lastly the toast was the worst thing I tried. They both were DRENCHED in butter. Almost like they dipped them in a tub of butter. I squeezed the toast and nothing but butter ran down my hand. After calling the place and talking to the manager. She did nothing to accommodate me or help and just said she will pass along the message. I will never eat here again.

WOW! We were just looking for some quick eats, and man we were not disappointed! Ordered the Voodoo Mac and the Santa Fe burger. Absolutely blown away! Played a couple games of pool. Katy was working the bar and she did a great job! Definitely will be coming back.

We have been attending this bar for close to 8 years and our beer order has recently changed to a pitcher for $12 and that is fine but tonight we were charged $3.23 on a pitcher in tax. Never been a tax on my pitchers just 50 cents to use credit or debit card. I am sorry but every bar that I have been to had a flat price on drinks with no tax. This is the second time this has happened. This was my go to bar but now I'm rethinking it.

I've only ordered pick-up, but I've been making my way through the menu. It's much better than it needs to be, with everything from scratch. The head cook has introduced himself several times, obviously passionate about what he does! I like to get the mushrooms...

It has been a long time since I've been to the Dirty Bird. I was pleasantly surprised to see that their food is still amazing. The bartender was really attentive and mixes fantastic drinks. The pool tables are nice and well kept. Enjoyed the outdoor patio. I'll be considering to the Dirty Bird more frequently now as a place to eat, play pool and have a cocktail. Thanks Dirty Bird for great service!

Stumbled on this place which is a def a dive bar with pool tables. Food was great, service was friendly. I would return. I had the crunchy chicken tacos, side salad, fries. The salad very good and the tacos had a lot of flavor. My daughter had fried shrimp which she devoured. My friends said the fish tacos and club sandwich were good.

I went here right after I moved into a new place. The atmosphere was really friendly compared to other dive bars I’ve been to. The pool tables look nice. People are drunk, but they aren’t rude or mean. The service was friendly a good- THE CHEESE CURDS WERE FIRE!!!! I got a whole bunch for only $4!! Go here and GET THEIR CHEESE CURDS! Call up Culvers and tell them to change their recipe to this one. Dirty Birds got it DOWN!
