This is an awesome park that we just recently discovered. It has lots of playground equipment and free space to run around. There is also a concrete walking path around the whole park that extends through a little wooded area with two wooden bridges. There's a very lovely area called Children's Memorial Park with bricks engraved with deceased children's names. Very touching.

This park is pretty dope!! You have places to explore on concrete paths where you could ride a bide, roller blade or just walk. Amazing slides for the bigger kids. Then they have a little park for the littles. They also have a fitness area for kids & it tells you what to do to workout. They put some thought into this park. There are restrooms for male/female. There are two covered pavilions where you can have a celebration. Also there are benches all around the park where parents can sit & watch their children play. I added updated photos.

I like this park but it can get crowded quickly. The equipment is still new, so it'll be hard to tell how well it will be maintained for another year or two. In my experience most people are pleasant and courteous, and their kids, the same. Parking is a little tight, but still managed to unload the kids without sliding doors. Facilities are locked in the "off season" (boo), and there is a lack of shade near the playground area, other than 2 shelters. (Which, if rented, provide nothing to other visitors) All in all, it's a nice park in a nice area with a good sense of community. 5/5 because there isn't a half scale on Google, and I don't want to go as low as 4/5.

PROs: Great location. Plenty of parking. Enough playground options for kids to choose from. Walk path for exercise and dog walking. Grass and trees appear healthy. Restroom facility on site. CONs: Restroom facility was not stocked. Great place when we took our grandkids. Hodge Park has more playground but lacks walking path whereas Lowenstein has walking paths.

This park is fantastic for the family. The playgrounds is clean, lots of space to run around. The trail there is great to walk. The neighborhood is really nice, also. Across from the park there's still some construction but it doesn't take away from the parks atmosphere. Come bring the whole family and enjoy.

We LOVE this park! Even in the summer the picnic pavilions provide ample seating and shade for parents to easily observe their kids. The play equipment itself is NOT shaded at all, but there is something to do for every age! It’s wonderful! The bathrooms are also always clean and well-kept. And there are trails to explore which the kids also enjoy. Great park!

The waterfall is a hidden gem! Beautiful family atmosphere with alot of well kept open space to enjoy. The family pumpkin carving contest was a fabulous sucess. Wonderful afternoon in the sun. And it was picture night for home coming at the waterfall.

This is one of our favorite parks to go to for the girls and dogs. Every Saturday there is dog training for those enrolled in Dog Training Elite. The play area is full of wonderful equipment, there's an exercise area, a fairy house built into the trees nearby, and a fountain that changes colors throughout the year depending on the holiday.

A nice, medium sized playground with an adult workout station. A mile and a half paved trail, plenty of green space, and a pretty butterfly garden.

Clean and inviting! Nice new equipment for all ages! There were many imaginative play items, like this flower that my 6 year old boy LOVED to spin in! There was a hill and a tunnel in the younger section. There are ability-inclusive swings and equipment. There was even what looks like workout equipment in the area near the restrooms. The trail is nice and the fountain/pergola area. The height of the slide equipment was initially off-putting, but after analyzing it with my mommy radar, seems pretty safe. We will definitely return!

My family and I have been trying to find parks that are welcoming and have more to offer. My children love the parks in Lee’s Summit and they’re so clean.

I have gone to this park since I was a little girl. I think it's a very sweet playground great for families, especially children, & birthday parties. The open grass area is great for small soccer teams & picnics. The only issue I have I know is temporary. It's very unclear how to get into the park at the moment because of the construction next door and the playground is blocked off because of COVID. Hopefully this all changes soon and when it does I would definitely encourage bringing kids and dogs over to have some fun.

Really, really nice new park! My family loved it! The kids had an absolute blast! If you haven't been here yet, take you're family! They will enjoy this park! We will be back many times, for sure!

Love bringing my kids here! There's a lot to do! There's a little pond with a trail around it that is pretty well shaded, an area for each age that is age appropriate, a field for your especially active littles to burn some energy, and the trail has little bridges my son loves to run back and forth over! Also, I've got a crawler and I love that there's an area for her to crawl around without getting mulch everywhere. One of my favorite parks to go to!!

Nice park. They have two larger shelter houses closer to the playground equipment and a smaller shelter house off to the side, but still close enough to walk to the playground. Fairly large paved parking lot. Handicap/wheelchair accessible. Large fire pit area with log seating. Quaint sitting areas off in the woods.

Fabulous park! Tons for all ages to stay entertained. Highly recommend. Workout options, toddler and school age options, even a lovely cement trail. Shopping and food all within walking distance. Great place to spend an hour up to a day.

This is a very cool park with multiple play structures. There are things for smaller kids as well as challenging things for older kids. There are walking trails with bridges and there is a beautiful butterfly garden with a fountain.

Super nice park. They have changed it since we were last there. They added extra things for the kids to play on. My grandchildren were invited to partake of a birthday party. The walking trail & Memorial are still there. It's a family oriented park. We had a fabulous time! ❤
