If I could. Give me 1/2 star I would. To start with we waited almost an hour for them to bring us the wrong food. Corrected the waiter. They took the food to the correct table. (Kinda gross And we had touched it to check our orders.) we then had to wait another 30 minutes for a corrected order and to say it was bland even with salt and salsa is an understatement. it just wasn’t good. Very disappointed after hearing all of the amazing reviews but every single table around us either got the wrong food. Or where charged for something they never received.

Moved to the neighborhood several months ago and as a brunch resturant connoisseur, I've put off trying this little resturant for too long. I went ahead and tried a Bacon Breakfast Burrito, and asked to add Chorizo and Pico as well as one of their beef tacos to try. The burrito, as you can see, was enormous. I have quite a large appetite and only finished half! The chorizo had a lot of flavor and the burrito was neatly rolled in a good quality tortilla. The taco was pretty good too for being mostly a brunch place. I'd like to try more of the mexican cuisine on the menu. The service was a little slow, and a lot of tables were sitting dirty until they absolutely had to clean them, which could be remedied with an additional waiter on staff. I also ordered the homefries and instead got cubed hashbrowns, which I assume means they ran out. Those are the only knocks I'll give it. Happy to add another great brunch location to my list of options on the weekend.

First time coming to Gingers and IT WAS AMAZING. Portions were massive and food was delicious. Service was great. We showed up 30mins before closing and still felt welcomed and unbothered by the waitress. She was smiling and very friendly. I’m not the type to write reviews but I had to recommend this local business for their spectacular food and service.

Ginger's is sort of a hidden gem in the area, encompassing friendly/attentive staff and large, delicious meals that will certainly keep you coming back for more! *Pictured below are a couple of the breakfast skillets the establishment offers* (I HIGHLY recommend the chicken fajita skillet)

Had the biscuits and gravy skillet and was very good! It’s huge and I had leftovers for probably two other meals. Be patient with the staff, they work hard and are probably under staffed. Our waiter was very friendly. Very casual atmosphere.

I'm not really sure what happened to this place. I frequent Kansas City often and came across this restaurant just a few months ago. Probably the best breakfast steak burrito to ever touch my lips. Great service. Everything worthy of a five star review. Today not so much. Waited over 40 minutes for my food. Only five other tables were there. Plenty of staff. Servers who just stood at the kitchen window talking. The guests next to me randomly stood up talking about how disgusting something was. Didn't catch the entire convo but they walked out without even touching their food. Whole table of plates and not one bite taken. Put me on edge. Staff didn't even offer an apology for whatever happened, just said 'Since you didn't eat anything I guess we won't charge you.' I got my burrito and it was pretty embarrassing compared to the one I had before. It was like an egg patty and you could tell the steak was precooked and reheated. Very chewy. Not even warm. I was confused on how it took 40 minutes to prepare pre-prepared food. Hash browns were tasteless and had a very strange texture. Found hair on the plate. Everything was gross. I just paid and left quietly without eating. Won't be back.

Saw their posts on Facebook and really wanted to try this place. Was very disappointed. Waited over 30 minutes for our breakfast (there were 6 tables sat in the whole place). My friend ordered a bfast with 2 pork chops. One was still rare. The other was pretty much done. They asked if we wanted them to make a new one, but after having already spent so long waiting for our meals we opted to just pass. The waitress was quite friendly. Overall it was disorganized, loud metal music coming from the kitchen, long waits for everyone, and sub par food for the prices. Unfortunately I will not be coming back.

When you want a big homestyle breakfast, this is the place! Ginger's has big biscuits with perfect sausage cream gravy, huge omelets, and burritos that are so big that you'll need a take-home box! We love all of their staff, and the no-frills dining is just like a small-town café. There should be a line out the door every morning. I think regulars don't tell anyone, so they can always have an empty table. So, ssshhh! Be careful who you tell. 😀

Great little sit down restaurant with home style comfort foods that were made to order, served promptly, by friendly staff. Good food at low cost. I frequently drive past a nearby McDonald's to get a better value meal at Ginger's.

Really good portion size, food was kinda just alright for what I got (biscuits gravy scrambled eggs) but delicious sausage. But the highlight of the whole thing was our server, crystal. I don’t even leave reviews really but wanted to leave one here so that the manager can see it and give Crystal her props. Service like that even makes the food taste better

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. WILL NOT START MAKING YOUR FOOD UNTIL YOU ARRIVE. Even then I ordered at 10:20 AM and at 11:25 left because I could wait no longer. The vapid stare from the employee with the man bun when I asked why such a long wait was an added bonus. They had my money already so I was really trying to wait it out. While I was there a family walked out after 10 minutes of no one greeting them. AFTER 70 MINUTES I left and went to quick-trip. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Forgot to ask them not to put flour gravy in my skillet. Ordered a hamburger without lettuce and pickles on the side and they did not put tomato or onions I did not ask them to leave off tomato or onion Good food otherwise

Our first time there, great service, friendly staff, the eggs were cooked perfect, our server suggested waffles over pancakes, and it was awesome, I'm usually a pancake girl, we will definitely be back💯

Food was average. I got 2 pancakes. Then I ordered steak omelet & it came with hash browns cost near $12. The diner looked dim. I waited about 10-15min. The young male cashier was nice and personable. He brought my food outside to me.

Food is delicious. Even when they are busy as all get out the wait staff are always on top of it, I've yet to see what the bottom of their coffee mugs look like 👍. Great breakfast spot for sure

We stopped in before Church and not from that area. They were busy and great to see people that most of them knew each other. Food was very good and plenty of it especially for the money. They did make a small mistake but took care of it. If we are that way again, we will stop in to eat.

Portions are large. I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo. It was quite good and the waiter told me the chorizo is house made which is a plus! My friend ordered the club sandwich and ate the whole thing! My other friend ordered the hamburger and said it was good. The waiter was super friendly! Not the most up-to-date decor but then again I never eat the decor! It was very clean though. I'll be back!

I was in the area and was craving an omelet. Ginger's did a great job! The staff was friendly, but they could use at least one more person for the number of tables they have. Food was great! The space they are in could use some updating though. I really think this place could prosper if they had just a little more space.

I only go out to eat once or twice a month and it is almost always to Ginger's. I love the food there and the employees are friendly and fun. The prices are good and the portions are generous. I always bring home half of my meal to eat the next day. Big bonus: They are vegetarian friendly! It doesn't show on the menu, but you can ask for a Beyond Burger to substitute for a regular burger. And they have no problems if you order something like (my favorite) the Bacon Avocado Burrito...with no bacon!

This place was incredible from the moment we walked in. Very kind and friendly waitstaff and huge portions. Christian was great and his recommendations exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be coming back again based on this experience.
