Update 2/15/23 I went back in because people keep talking about how great this place is and how it's the best. Haven't been here in 4 years. This is my update. Salsa came out after drinks.. (only place iv encounter that) The salsa was definitely different by any other place. Watered down with chunks of unions and little amount of cilantro. The hot salsa was decent. Chips was salty. Ordered asada steak burrito with rice and beans. The steak was very thin and fatty and chewy. The rice was decent. Beans was watery and would move if you tap the plate. But they wasn't terrible. Seems made there. My daughter had fries and corn dog. I tried a bite. Reminded me of Costco. Wasn't terrible. Just nothing special. My spouse had beef burrito with rice. Beef was watery/mushy to say. Didn't care for the taste. The place was dead.. giving that reason I'm realizing everytime I pass it's dead. I don't think I need to State the obviously. Other place up the street is always busy. But again. To each their own. ------------------- 2019 Decent food. I'll admit it was good for being a mom and pop place. They have their whole family there so wait time was nothing. Drinks was brought before you finished.. 4 stars because the owner thought the AC bill was too high? Was kinda hot ..

This place is quite literally a hole in the wall. The food is nothing shy of amazing. Not your typical Tex Mex fair you find at most Mexican restaurants, but the real deal. The beans took me back to when I visited Mexicali, and the heat on the camarones diabla was on point. The only issue here is the small dining space. The owners are super awesome and love to mingle and meet their patrons. I'm definitely going back... I found my Mexican home.

Awesome Mexican food! They have the best salsa ever! Serving sizes were decent for a good value. Will be back again.

Service was great, fast. Food was better than others, actually not bad! The chips and salsa is the bomb! The margarita had a different taste to me, so I wont be having that again but I will be coming back. Pretty good!

We have been coming to Fiesta Azteca for a long time. We have moved away, but still come back to the great food and service, and they never disappointed. A lovely family run restaurant, authentic taste, great service and company. Highly recommended!

We have been going to Fiesta Azteca for almost a decade, after searching for decent salsa and Mexican food when we lived in Lee's Summit. The food is good and the family is lovely. We even had them cater our wedding, and my family is Mexican!

My first time eating here. I found a family-operated business serving great Mexican food. Extensive menu, free chips/salsa. Interior is smaller, but outdoor seating available.

Wow, what a great surprise eating here. The salsa is amazing. Most places skimp on the cilantro but not this place, It's packed full of flavor. I had pork verde and everything seasoned and had this yummy favor. The music was enjoyable, wasn't loud nor obnoxious but at a pleasant level to enjoy conversation. The cook actually delivered our food in person (nice touch)...I look forward to my next visit!!

Never have I once eaten everything on my plate at a Mexican restaurant, until today. I've traveled around the US and this is by far the best Mexican food I've ever had by a mile. Our waitress was nice and served everyone with a smile. The horchata was smooth and sweet, the chimichanga I ordered was filled to the brim, almost bursting with steak and spinach. They hit every mark, the rice and beans had great flavor. Where usually I just leave it on my plate I found myself coming back for more and more. Their salsa is delicious and their spicy salsa has a kick that will sneak up on you! If you're ever in the area dine here!!! You won't regret it.

Food was bland & very small portions. Ate the #16 & #10 combo's in their entirety and was still hungry. Not bad quality food, but not what you'd expect from a place marketed as an authentic Hispanic eatery. At $10+ per combo, if a skinny guy whom weighs 165 can eat two of their large combos & be disappointed; you'll might find yourself wanting more... Service was exc

Always have a great meal here. The owner and his family are extremely friendly. We always ask him to surprise us with whatever he wants to serve us and we're never disappointed.

I drive all the way from Florida and come here to eat whenever I get into town. I love the atmosphere, the people who run it, and of course the authentic Mexican recipes the owner prepares! I've been eating food prepared by this man and his family for over two decades! A staple in the Raytown community!

We went in and they sat us immediately. After we ordered, the food was served pretty quick. The enchiladas were so good. Plenty of leftovers too. So yummy!

Only thing I can say is I have traveled around and visited alot of places and tried Mexican food, this place is easily the best Mexican food in KC and Top 3 I have tried. And the customer service is too notch. Home made salsa is on point and everything we tried tasted like truly authentic Mexican food. Must try this place

My Daughter and I dined in this evening. We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. As we were being seated the young lady took our drink orders and handed us menus. I asked a couple questions about items on their menu, she courteously answered me. We ordered, were served and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Thank you to this small Raytown restaurant for your great service to our community!

They used to have a place in Lee's Summit, but moved here still well worth the drive if only you want chips and salsa and maybe a flan.

This is by far the worst Mexican food I have ever been a witness to. The meat was canned meat the cheese was canned cheese it was terrible.

I eat out a lot and work in the food industry and I'm 47 years old. I had to send my dinner back, I've never had to do that before. My verse carnitas was from a can.

This place is a hidden gem! The food and drinks are really good, but their hospitality is the best. They make you feel welcome and are always very accommodating.
