I've had Rick's do inspections on my cars and had them do an alignment of my Mustang. Everything was up front and they did a good job within my budget. Yes there is a fee to use credit cards because banks charge the business for having/using a machine. Most businesses hide that charge in their cost. They've been honest and straight forward.

Rick's did a wonderful job on my SUV. They were very friendly and professional and the prices were reasonable. Definitely will go back.

Rick's was recommended to me on a Rant & Rave page via fb. I asked where a person could go to get an honest Mo vehicle Inspection. As a female this IS very important, whether you agree or not. It took about an hour to wait for my results. My Only gripe is their lobby needs to be bigger!!! 😃 4 chairs is not enough. I had to stand the whole time but that is ok. These Men are nice and professional. I would recommend them if you're in the Raytown area.

Took my truck to get it fixed, way too expensive and they put the most expensive parts on it even after I told them I didn't want the most expensive parts and they still didn't listen. My check engine light came on the following day. Then just called to replace a gear linkage bushing $300, for a $10 part that wouldn't even take an hour to install. I'll take my business elsewhere.

My family has used Rick's for years. They have seen all of our cars and did a great job. Recently though, my Father passed. My Mom took her car to Rick's and they put in a part that didn't work. They admitted that they tried to cut corners and that's why it didn't work so we decided to give them another chance when the airbag light came on. They came back and said that they were going to have to keep the car much longer than expected (which is reasonable) and take apart the dash to fix the airbag problem. When we got the car back, the plastic "screen" over the odometer was cracked, USB drives and CDs were missing, the handle where the curtain airbag is contained is now dangling (clip broken, maybe?) and the headlight is out and will not work when replaced. It sounds like the electrical is all messed up now on that side of the car. I have never been this disappointed to pick up a car in worse shape than when we went in. It will cost more to fix what they have messed up than to get the stinkin' airbag fixed. I feel like they never would have sent this car to us in this condition if my Dad was around, but since it's just little ol' Mom and I, they did subpar work, over charged, caused more problems than there were originally and took advantage of us (and might have even stolen the USBs and CDs we had in the car).

Rick and his team are some of the most professional mechanics around. They have a wealth of knowledge and are extremely thorough in both the work they do and the explanation of said work and costs associated. Will never go anywhere else but Rick’s in the KC area.

Took our car there for oil change. Two days later car over heated, Took it back to have checked out. They told us what it was and how much. The day we were to pick it up, they found the reason for it over heating. After spending 3000. to get all fixed. Cars check engine light came on! Took it to Dave Cross, they found out tech had cross threaded the on oil cooled and and twisted the lines over and covered them. Cost us 2500. To repair the mess they made.

Rick's Auto Clinic took my car in promptly. They diagnosed my problem, gave me an accurate estimate and told me when the work would be completed. Fair pricing and very professional work. The owners are also very personable. I highly recommend Rick's Auto Clinic.

Went to purchase two jet skis and told him I was on my way, had the cash said he would hold onto them. Got on the road and he turned around and sold them. Very unprofessional company to work with!

After being told my bill was $900 over the phone I went in to pay it. As I tried to write a check I was told we don't accept checks do you have a card. After I gave them a card and paid my bill I noticed a $25 convenience fee on my bill. I asked what is this fee for and they said for running my credit card. At no time was I advised over the phone that they did not accept checks and that I could bring in cash to avoid a convenience fee. This is illegal and cannot be done by private businesses without disclosing that they charge a fee. I will be letting the attorney general know about their business practices and I recommend everybody beware of this business. I gave them an opportunity to make this right and their response was go get cash and pay it even though they had not informed me of it in the first place. So now I have to spend more time to play by rules I didn't even know existed because they lied to me. Be very aware and look over every part of your bill before you pay it. They also tried to charge me $20 more than I was told by the tow company. I would not recommend this business and I certainly will not be back and I will tell everyone I know who asks about my experience.

Ricks auto clinic was fantastic!! I only wish I would’ve gone here from the beginning. Sean was very helpful from the beginning in finding me a solution to a pretty tricky issue with my axle rod. They took care of everything I needed at a fair price and got the work done in a timely manner. As a business owner I can appreciate how honest and transparent they were throughout the process. Thanks again to everybody at ricks for helping me out and prioritizing my issue! I have several vehicles and will be bringing them here from now on!

My wife and I had been experiencing some issues that seemed like it was suspension related. our ford Flex basically just sounding bad when we drove over bumps and we were concerned about the safety. This was the first time I have had to use a mechanic in the Kansas City area. They were extremely kind and had it back to us very quickly. They fixed the suspension problem and then offered to fix the exhaust issue but recommended that we wait on it. They mentioned that it could be fixed sometime soon but it was not effecting the performance at the moment. It was evident what they were talking about. Basically they could have tried to convince me to fix it, but instead encouraged me to wait until it really needed to be replaced. Again, great people. I will certainly be back.

These guys are the best - going above and beyond to get my truck taken care of. I needed tires, full tune up, and new rotors and brakes. They had to drive all over the city to find the rotors and still were able to get it done by 5pm! Oh, not to mention they worked it out with my windshield guy as well and let him come in and replace my windshield. Couldn't recommend Rick's more!

My 80yrs old mom was in from out of town for the holidays and her fluxx capacitor (or thermostat something) went out on her car and luckily it was in my driveway. Jason was super friendly and very helpful! They got her car in the same day, gave us timely updates, was able to order the part, get it fixed and back to us the next day. Thankfully it was only a one day setback to her trip but it was made a lot easier thanks to Rick's Auto Clinic and I appreciate the customer service they provided during the week of Christmas.

I had exhaust manifold intakes removed and replaced. This shop does really good work and they communicate well with the work that needs to be done. Highly recommend.

This is one busy shop! Quality work @ a reasonable price! They stand behind their work! Tow service too! Call and ask for Shawn, the manager. All my family and friends come here for general maintenance and major repair work!

Worst quality of work, would not attempt to make the issue right. Alignment so poorly done car undrivable after. On a Friday told me to bring it back next week. Had manager drive vehicle, pulling so badly to the left could not let go of the wheel, told me my tires were bad that had just been installed the day before. Took car to another shop up the street and they found a mess of out of alignment adjustments both front and rear. Very angry and would never send anyone to ricks for anything.
