They show preferential treatment. I had an vaccination appointment and was patiently waiting to get called to the back. A couple checked in after me and the Pharmacy technician Bryan signaled for them to come in before me (without checking to see who was next on the list) I did not appreciate feeling ignored. I spoke the Pharmacist Jefferey about the experience and inquired about the check in process. I questioned how a couple that checked in 10 minutes after me was allowed to get in front of me (as if their time is more valuable). He apologized but it didn’t take away the fact that it happened. Another customer also made a statement about how could they allow that when I have been waiting in the lobby. This is my second time visiting this HyVee pharmacy and I will not return. I will go where I feel appreciated and my time is valued.

They often claim they don't have scripts that were sent in. I've now had for the same med sent in several times but they 'don't have it.' But this only happens with meds people are judgy about, even ones that are not controlled substances. Seems like bad business to lose $30,000 in annual receipts all at once, and it's become such a hassle I no longer grocery shop here either. Great job Hy-vee. Bryan the pharmacist is amazing and he deserves the best. I've requested help several times with issues but the store management here is the worst of any Hy-vee I've been to.

Waited in line for 20 minutes, was told my script was never sent. By that time my doctors office was closed so I had to wait until the next day to call and find out that my doctor did send my script the day before! Very frustrating and inconvenient. Avoid this location if you can!

I wish I could do a half a star. I'm self employed, so no insurance. I've been filling my prescriptions with Hyvee, first the one in Belton then in Raytown, and I've always been happy. The staff is always willing to take the time to run my meds through different discounts to find the cheapest price, which incidentally is usually their own. The pharmacists are the most helpful I've ever dealt with. They are always willing to answer my questions honestly, and most of the time they can tell me if an herbal remedy I want to try may interact with my meds. But the last 2 months have been horrible! As soon as they started offering the covid vaccine, it became impossible to get our meds efficiently. They took away all of the seating for pharmacy customers and marked it for vaccine patient use. My partner and I can't stand long, so we are forced to embarrass ourselves with a seated cart or go through the drive thru, which in general has been poorly staffed. They are prioritizing vaccine patients, with no separate line for the actual pharmacy. I have always been happy with hyvee pharmacy, and the store in general. But if things don't change, I am going to look for a pharmacy that actually functions as one.

This is the worst Hy-Vee pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I’m definitely changing pharmacies. I have to call 10 times before someone will answer. They never have my prescriptions. They tell me they’re ordering the medication on Friday and it’ll be in on Monday, and come Monday they never even ordered the medication so I have to wait ANOTHER day. Incredibly disappointing. I lived in MHK and the only reason I chose Hy-Vee here in Raytown as my pharmacy is because the one in MHK was great. Sad to find out that the same customer service isn’t carried throughout the company.

I am giving the pharmacy 4 stars only because the individuals working are so pleasant and thorough. I do have an issue with under staffing. One never knows when the drive-thru will be closed. That creates an issue for me because of the chronic pain I experience. This situation causes me to have to park and go in and stand in a very long line. There have been times that I have been in line so long that I can barely walk back to my car. I switched to Hy-Vee because I was having so many issues with Walgreens (randomly closed at any given time)and CVS. I now feel as though this pharmacy is heading in the same direction. The staff is so wonderful and I wish that I could help them. Please be prepared to go in and wait in a long line for your medication. My next adventure will l be to have my medication mailed to me which is cheaper in the long run. Love Hy-Vee anyway.

Helpful and the pharmacist is always great to check medicine interactions for us. It is a bustling pharmacy but I feel the techs are kind and try to keep the line moving when we have to wait!!

Great people. Little slow because understaffed, since they can't find help. They are looking and trying. I think the pharmacy and store is great.

They are always busy and that has never stopped them from being exceedingly helpful, caring and respectful. I love this pharmacy 🧡

Y’all need to give Heather a raise!!! She was great, she actually listens to my problems and attempts to fix them, and her effort, to me, was greatly appreciated. So thank you SO MUCH Heather!

This is the worst Hyvee pharmacy I've ever experienced. I went to pick up my medicine, nobody was in line or the drive thru, I was the only one at the pharmacy. They had 7 employees working and all 7 ignored me for 10 minutes. Not a hi, can I help you.... nothing. After 10 minutes of waiting and getting visibly upset an employee finally walked up and said, "have you been helped?" Obviously not since all 7 of you have been standing around staring at me for 10 minutes. I've never seen an entire group of people just stand around and rudely not acknowledge someone for over 10 minutes. I don't recommend using this pharmacy, they have no intentions of helping anyone.

I don't know what anyone is talking about. Wait time is less than other places, usually 10 minutes if really buay. Love the convenience of getting groceries at the same time, one stop. When shorted me a prescription they were quick to fix that and got me the rest quickly, happened only once.

Every prescription I've had filled here, which hasn't been that many, has been an ordeal. I'll be switching back to a "real" pharmacy instead of a grocery store.
