I mainly go there on the first Sunday of each month as I am one of the drivers at the miniature railway at the park. On the other side of the park a new playground has been installed.

Huge park not in the center of the city but litle outside. I visited but by the time fair was organized there. This park is so huge to play with kids and pets. Also cycling is best option. Haven't seen restrooms around but will visit this park again to explore more on it. Cheers to life!!!

Large play area with a variety of different climbing frames, slides, swings, etc. plus a large sand pit. There is plenty to do for children of all ages, and for the most part it is in pretty good condition. The no park can get busy especially in the warm weather and there is often an ice cream van. Public toilets and a car park in close proximity to the play area. And further up into the park is a restaurant called The Mansion House. At the time of writing I believe it is a Harvester and I have always enjoyed meals there. I would definitely recommend a visit but as it is very open plan you need to supervise your kids at all times as there is a main road close by.

I have been going to Prospect Park for more than 20 years and I have seen all the transitions it went through but I must say this recent half a million pound revamp has totally changed the play area! Family of two toddlers we throughly enjoyed our visit today and we literally had to drag our kids out because of the rain otherwise they didnโ€™t want to come! There is a nice cafe as well just across the play area with lots of greenspace for picnic or walks!

Perfect little low ropes course at the Ranger Station, Prospects Park. Our 4yr old had a great time and enjoyed the freedom of working his way around the course. Staff were friendly and professional. Great for under 7's

Big Park located in Reading. During the summer they organize a 1-day motorshow. Perfect for families with kids. There is lots to see, the area is quiet and also close to a pub.

Nice open green space which is the only nice thing I have to say about this park. Unfortunately there is rubbish everywhere and hundreds of rats especially around the under maintained pond. A lot of the paths are under maintained and the public toilet has been out of order for years. This park used to be a lot nicer but unfortunately has gone downhill

This park is well tended to. Every season is lovely here. Lots to fo, and now a mini putt-putt too. Not good on ablutions though.

A great green park, that is accessible for all, ideal to bring kids to play, walk through dogs or simply walk the park and enjoy some fresh air to start the day.

Lovely park. I spent an entire pandemic walking routes in and around it and never tire of the location. The council have now added crazy golf and intend to add more stuff for kids and a cafe too. We have a great mobile coffee bar open most days and my parent friend's adore the kids playground. There's even a bowling club and a harvester pub in the middle!

The indoor climbing area for kids is a great way to introduce toddlers to this type of activity. They are hardest to a pulley and can try different levels of balance and coordination. Toilets are onsite for customers only and sessions are fairly cheap for the length (at time it was 45 minutes)

Lovely park in reading. Nice park for children, adults and for pets alike. It has good car park and children activities to play. It has tennis courts, Ping Pong tables, small football pitches and lots of green place. Local park for fairs etc. Specially Miniature Railways on Sundays.

Nice place to take a walk & escape the urban life of Reading. Lots of hidden things to see & do, like a Harvester Restaurant, a children's play area & basketball court. Many paths to explore with open green spaces & wooded areas. Better in the spring & summer as can get rather wet & slippy with fallen leaves in places on the paths

I went to the park to attend a car show but unfortunately the hassle of trying to get there overshadowed the whole event. There seems to be only one way in and out of the parking area at the park and that, combined with the narrow, busy streets leading to the entrance means it was very, very slow to get in and parked up. A waste of time and energy Iโ€™m afraid. Itโ€™s great having a park in a city but whatโ€™s the point if you donโ€™t cater for people that need to drive there?

Excellent park, it's a really big park and there's just so much potential in every direction :-) great place to kick & throw a ball & frisbee about.. I often visit and to public rope here, if you want to try rope art or get suspended from a tree, let me know ๐Ÿ˜€

Having lived in the UK for 20 years and driven past many times I've never stopped and explored this amazing landmark.i would recommend you do the same, take a couple of hours of your time and listen and learn about this amazing piece of history. We had a great time: the tour guides were fab and so knowledgeable and "3min18secondes" man inside the gallery was memorable ;) Ps: Facilities were also good and well looked after.
