Plenty of grass and plenty of walk - the park is one of the very open places of mainly grass land with trees on the fringe lines at the boundary. There’s a small children’s play area in the middle of the open grassland on the higher ground. The Park dips into lower ground in the north in the shape of rolling hill of very pleasant looking grasslands with a small thicket in one corner. A welcoming invite to dog walkers and others alike there are garden benches on the higher ground where one can sit and admire the South Oxfordshire countryside in the far distance towards the north of the park. As with many parks, there’s no dedicated parking area for the visitors. To much disgust of the residents one has to look for a parking space amongst the crowded streets riddled with parking restrictions.

Easily one of the nicest parks I have ever visited. Didn't realise I had this gem on my doorstep. There is plenty to play on for toddlers and older kids. My son loved the walkway style play park. It's sand all the way through. Seems really clean and well maintained though. Outside the play area you have a massive field for walking the dog or playing sports. There is even a super steep hill with benches at the top for a beautiful view.... the hill is good for hill rolling or maybe riding bikes down. Overall a lovely park which I will visit again often. There is no official carpark and initially Google maps took us in to an allotment site...

We love this park. It's beautiful. It's clean and has an excellent playground for little ones. The playground has a sand floor and the equipment is a is suitable for a variety of ages. Recommended Park in the Reading area.

Just a stunning park! Section for kids is great and safe and clean. Bring bucket and spade as it's all sanded! Beautiful surrounding area, well maintained. A lot of dog walkers but it's clean. We really enjoyed exploring on this sunny early autumn day!

Meet up with friends for a walk and\or picnic. Very hilly, but a lovely green space. Nice little coffee van.

A beautiful park to just sit and look at the view. And get your trousers full of paw marks.

Lovely sized park with nice surroundings. However, there are no car parks nearby so you have to park on the road.

The views of the rolling hills, plenty of bins for your doggy bags, good benches, and wide open spaces…

Nice sandy Park. Inside a nature reserve not too overwhelming but big enough to do a nice loop with the pushchair . There was a coffee pop up shop too near the park where you could sit and enjoy your drink. Really nice park, good for picnics, young / older children and dog walkers

Excellent location for young childern who love this and affectionately call it the sand park lots to do for all ages all safely fenced. Lots of benches and picnic tables all set in a wonderful country park location in tilehurst and a hidden gem.

Park is good enough for the kids. Only negative is the park needs a good clear up (weeds in the sand, grass over growing, benches not clean, etc).

Beautiful place, we used the hill to roll down painted eggs, and had a great time! The cafe van was great too!
