Staying
for
one
night
here
for
the
first
time,
and
have
pre
planned
two
more
visits
for
later
in
the
month.
Upon
arrival
I
paid
£15
for
overnight
parking
via
the
app
that
is
advertised
on
signs
outside.
When
I
checked
in
there
was
a
parking
validation
screen,
and
apparently
I
could
have
gotten
the
parking
for
half
of
the
price.
I
wish
I
knew!
I
mentioned
this
in
conversation
to
the
guy
on
reception
(his
name
escapes
me)
and
to
make
up
for
my
mistake
he
gave
me
a
free
breakfast
for
the
next
day,
which
was
a
really
nice
gesture.
I
won’t
make
this
same
mistake
on
my
next
two
stays!
The
spa
was
decent.
It
has
a
steam
room,
sauna,
jacuzzi
and
a
pool.
The
changing
rooms
have
showers,
toilets,
lockers
and
a
swimsuit
dryer.
,are
sure
to
bring
a
padlock
for
the
locker
though.
The
rooms
decor
is
great
and
cozy.
The
bed
is
a
super
king
(I
think)
so
ha
loads
of
space.
You
get
a
selection
of
teas,
coffees,
and
even
hot
chocolate
in
the
room,
and
some
nice
smelling
shower
gel,
shampoo
and
body
lotion.
There
is
only
one
problem
I
have
with
this
hotel
and
it’s
only
partially
the
hotels
fault,
and
that
is
the
noise.
I
could
hear
people
talking
in
the
next
room.
And
my
room
was
on
the
east
side,
looking
over
the
bridge
and
the
noise
of
traffic
is
insane.
I
swear
there
was
street
racing
going
on
until
the
early
hours
and
I
almost
seen
a
crash
on
the
roundabout
from
it.
Obviously
the
hotel
can’t
control
the
idiot
racers,
but
I
do
also
think
that
the
rooms
aren’t
soundproofed
enough
in
general
so
it’s
something
that
could
be
improved.
I
had
the
breakfast
in
the
main
restaurant
the
next
morning.
It
was
£19
per
person
and
was
a
buffet.
It
had
a
great
selection
of
meats,
cheeses
and
pastries
for
continental,
as
well
as
all
of
the
different
jams
etc.
And
also
your
standard
English
breakfast
items.
In
all,
aside
from
the
noise
it
was
a
great
hotel.
I
am
hoping
that
on
my
next
two
visits
I
get
a
room
at
the
opposite
side
of
the
hotel
so
I
am
away
from
the
road.

Largely
the
same
experience.
And
whilst
there
didn't
seem
to
be
any
street
racing
going
on
there
is
still
a
large
number
of
people
revving
their
cars
and
speeding
about
causing
just
as
much
noise
as
before.
Room
was
quite
similar
to
before
only
slightly
smaller
and
more
dated-
with
plenty
of
wear
and
tear
to
see.
I've
stayed
in
much
worse
rooms
though.

I
took
the
team
up
on
the
room
upgrade
that
they
very
kindly
offered
for
my
review.
This
time
I
was
in
room
203
-
I
liked
the
view
a
lot
better
here!
The
room
decor
may
be
different....
I
cannot
remember
the
other
rooms
very
well
but
I
am
pretty
sure
this
room
is
a
bit
darker
which
gives
it
a
cosier
feel.
Aside
from
that
there
is
a
Nespresso
coffee
machine
with
2
pods
included.
I
don't
know
how
much
the
the
upgrade
would
be
but
I
guess
all
you
are
getting
is
the
two
coffee
pods.
It's
worth
noting
that
there
was
some
splashes
of
something
on
the
wall
in
the
bathroom,
at
first
I
thought
it
was
blood
but
upon
further
inspection
I
don't
think
it
was.
Or
at
least
I
wasn't
sure!
The
big
thing
for
me
personally
was
how
much
quieter
it
is
on
this
side
of
the
hotel.
I
sat
all
evening
with
the
window
open
and
only
heard
one
car
off
in
the
distance.
MUCH
MUCH
better
here!
Anyway
I
am
back
in
the
area
in
a
few
weeks
and
will
likely
come
back
here.
I
will
also
update
my
photos
to
show
the
room
