Food was absolutely amazing! Best burger I've ever had. We can't wait to return again to try other things on the menu as it all sounded so good. The service was outstanding, so friendly and welcoming. Really couldn't fault our visit today. Thank you and we will see you again soon! :)

Absolutely fantastic Restaurant in the heart of Caversham, Reading. My wife and me have been coming to this lovely place since it opened in 2017, also having many food deliveries during lockdown. On this occasion we came on a Sunday, Lunch time. A lovely young chap welcomed us straight away and gave us a table even if we didn’t book. The atmosphere and the ambiance in the restaurant is really lovely: you feel as at home. Relaxed, Quick and attentive service, super friendly from everyone. FANTASTIC STAFF, including the manager. And the food… it gets better every time. We went for THE BOSS BOWL ( amazing fresh flavours with really balanced spices and brown rice ) and I tried the CRISPY GNOCCHI as well , to die for. Good red wine, I tried the French option. I adore Vegivores food and I am certainly not vegetarian nor vegan. Amazing presentation, top ingredients, customer service at its best. We find the prices absolutely right for the quality of the food. WE WILL BE BACK, perhaps we’ll come visiting in Bournemouth!!!

Fantastic food, prompt service, would highly recommend. It is priced more on the high end, but the quality of the food reflects this.

Sumptuous breakfast hash and burrito bowls that pleased 2 meat eaters, all gluten free in this case. £8.50 was a bit steep for a pint of beer, though it was a good local Siren brew, but overall an excellent meal

Excellent birthday lunch for my wife. Being a vegetarian, it was the first place she had been to where she could have ANYTHING off the menu. Food was excellent, albeit a wee bit pricey. We booked a table at 3pm, so that we could have food from the Dinner Menu. Dropped one star because of very loud kids running riot and the staff did not say anything.

Such lovely food! I got the lunch special which was Thai yellow curry! Was amazing and some sides too! Really filling and wholesome! Lovely place also!

With a beautiful ambience, a must try place in Reading for all vegetarians/vegans! The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow was an absolute delight! The macaroni cheeze was very tasty.

So happy to have found this place! It is fully plant-based. I had the satay burger which was delicious. My side of potatoes was a little bit bland but once I added hot sauce (Cholula) and black pepper it was perfect. I will be back to try the rest. Service was friendly but a little bit slow. In the end I had my blue matcha latte to take away. Slightly powdery but good. Really happy with the food, I will take people there!

Sadly I didn't have a good experience at this place. My friend booked a table for a birthday and asked for a cake, three times!! Never arrived. I also ordered water that never arrived either. The staff weren't very friendly either. On top of that my friend got overcharged and we had to wait ages for a refund. Myself working in hospitality, I understand that there was a factor that for them it was late as our booking was half hour before they closed the kitchen but well, 5pm it's pretty early to close for dinner and if they didn't want to served at that time honestly just don't accept the booking. We were expecting proper apologies from the manager or a compensation but it just never happened. It's very curious that the other review that points out the poor attitude of the staff is also a foreign, knowing that we were all foreigners at the table. However I give two stars as the food was very tasty and because it's, at my knowledge, the only vegan restaurant in Reading and I wanted to support this small business. Also they had a good amount of gluten free options which cannot be that easy to find. I would definitely go back with other staff.

This is the second time I've been here and I was so glad to see it's still really busy. We both went for the mac and cheese which is made with sweet potato and topped with a herb & garlic crumb. It was so rich and creamy, and you get a big portion so it was really filling. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Reading.

We had the hemp Caesar salad, burrito bowl, Thai coconut & veg soup and sweet potato macaroni cheese sharers. They were all delightful and pleased a non-vegan friend - they even enjoyed the maple tofu in my salad which they usually don't like. This is the second time I've been here and the menu had changed so it was great to try new things. They have a broad selection of brunch options, small plates, larger meals and desserts including peanut butter truffles and a piña colada crème brulée! I didn't have it, but I was very tempted by the Biscoffle... Looked so good! Would definitely recommend!

We came as a table of 6 and had the most amazing meal - everything was incredible, food and service and the experience. All very reasonably priced - the crispy gnocchi was our favourite. Will definitely be coming again

We had a great meal at Vegivores! I had the crispy gnocchi and it was one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had! The waitress was lovely and the Decor is beautiful. Thank you again ❤️

𝒥𝑜𝓎 𝑜𝒻 𝓋𝑒𝑔𝒶𝓃 💛 . Had the most colourful and delightful vegan all day brunch at @wearevegivores ! . <#Vegivores #Breakfast £14> The rainbow colours are very satisfying🌈 rich in macros(esp plant protein)😚 The full breakfast included mushroom and beans, tofu scramble, roast tomatoes, spinach, tempeh and sourdough which were scrumptious😗I added some smashed avocado 🥑 and hummus which came to perfection ☺️ . <The purple one £4.50>
The smoothie was blended with winter berries, banana, cinnamon, coconut milk 🥛 which was refreshing and very well balanced of exotic flavours 💜 . <The nutty one £5> U got a sweet tooth? Yes I did!💓 We tried the nutty one with warm-glazed pineapple underneath the coconut ice cream and the crunchy toasted coconut 🥥 the ice and fire sensation was fascinating ❣️

Wow! Amazing vegan food, I’m not a vegan myself but I wasn’t missing meet or eggs. I’ve known about this place for a couple years now and hadn’t been, but I decided recently to go for a full breakfast. The soya egg substitute was so clever, really very similar to having scrambled eggs. I also felt very healthy having eaten this breakfast as no bacon with high saturates!

Loved it. Lots of choice. Had two purple smoothies, tofu skewers (delicious), nourish bowl (great) and hashed potatoes (very tasty). Pleasant and open atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back this year.

I visited this restaurant for the first time a couple weeks ago with my friend and came back for a second round ASAP because it was just so good! Amazing range of menu options, very friendly and warm staff, and a gorgeous restaurant space. We only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

OMG. We need to talk about the ice cream and waffle dessert. This blew my mind. So much so, we had to have another. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly when it came to the number of questions we asked. We are meat eaters, but wanted to give this place a go. We were really surprised how great it was. Have the ice cream and waffle dessert. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't. Life changing it is!!! Would recommend to all to try. Flavours and textures were sublime...!

Beautiful restaurant, all vegetarian / vegan. Food was great, we had a burrito and a bowl, coffee and an ice cream with chocolate and crumbled cookies on top. It was however on the expensive side tho, about £80 for two mains and sides, two drinks and coffees and two desserts. Service and staff was amazing it was quite busy but when we came in it was quite quiet which I liked.. Due to the great service there's 12.5% non optional service charge slapped on top of your bill. I usually leave 10% if asked, hence why I leave 3 stars. Definitely not a place where you come for lunch every weekend. If I compare this with other restaurants I get full on my main already without the dessert and a refillable drink that would be less than £50. Ambient is great, it was a rainy day that day and we couldn't eat outside but that's not their fault.

Been there a few times - food is absolutely delicious and service is great too. Recommend the fried gnocchi and the tofu burger, which was really flavourful and sauce is to die for. So many great plant based options!

Wonderful takeaway service for their incredible food! They were super accommodating to prepare my order for collection during a very busy Friday lunchtime service. Thanks so much to the staff and chef who offered to rush it through! The food is great but... that mac and cheese is the best I've ever had, vegan or not! Delicious!

This has to be my most favourite place in Reading. Amazing food and drinks. The turmeric latte is to die for and I always go here for that! Absolutely love this place and the people. They are so lovely and considerate. Thanks guys! You know have a regular customer!

Love this place! Such good food and it is run by a really lovely team of people. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and my non-vegan friends love going there too. 10/10 and can’t wait to eat there again soon. Best place for miles

The food was very tasty if a little pricey. Good portion sizes too. Shame there was a lack of desserts suitable to take away as I was full after my pasta but the dessert I wanted was available to go. The ambience was spoiled a little by excessive bright lighting. Staff helpful and friendly overall a good experience

Absolutely delicious food and smoothies! We waited a bit outside (lunch time on a Sunday), no one came for a while but they were quite busy. Staff was friendly, the burrito and the Mexican bowl are very good, but the best for me was the biscoff waffle! Really good! The decor inside is really cute as well. Overall recommended. Only thing I would say is for the staff to look around the room more often, I've noticed other customers trying to get their attention for ages.

Vegivores continues to deliver a constantly changing specials menu whilst maintaining the classic core menu. I started with the fritters and had the linguine which is creamy, rich and super-tasty. Accompanied by a local (Double-Barrelled) lager. The service was relaxed and friendly as always. I’ll be back.

I love the food here and eat here regularly. Was great that they were flexible about an ingredient I don’t like too. But disappointed that adults are no-longer allowed order to a kids size portion. I like to eat a couple of dishes for variety and it means the adult size is too much food! Having a smaller option worked much better for me and the environment! 😊

If you are a biscoff lover, then you need to give Vegivores a visit. Their warm buttermilk waffle with vanilla ice cream and biscoff which is 100% vegan is absolutely amazing.

Recently moved to Reading, was in search of a good vegan restaurant and came across this on deliveroo. Was impressed with the menu and so dined in about 5 times within a month. Great ambience and friendly staffs, not surprised the place is always full. They are also DOG FRIENDLY, located in a nice place. It's far better than the vegan restaurants in London both in taste and price. I highly recommend Thai Red curry, Mac n cheese and Biscoff icecream.!!

I came in for a light bite, I ordered the corn chowder which was good, quite filling for a starter. I also got a latte with oat milk which I'm not usually a fan of, but was pleasantly surprised. Overall I would reccomend it and I plan to return.

Spent a lovely evening here with friends, it was a great atmosphere and the food was incredible! Had the burger for my main which was absolutely scrumptious and then finished off with the Biscoffle which was honestly the most insanely delicious dessert experience I've ever had, you should've seen my face 😂 well done guys!

I dined here on Jan 3rd and had a lovely meal. I came a year ago and ever since I've been waiting to come back to reading so I can eat here again! The food is amazing, great selection of gluten free options, lovely vibe in the restaurant and most importantly the service was perfect! My reciept says Maddie G servied us and they were lovely. Super friendly and efficient service. I hope it was just because we went quite late but I was shocked that there werent more tables in! Thank you for a great meal and showing people how good vegan food is.

I’ve been here before for coffee and cake with my daughter and it was ace, just took the whole family for Father’s Day lunch and it was fantastic. They were busy and said they were short staffed, but the service was still attentive and friendly and we didn’t wait very long for our large drinks and food order to arrive. They kindly split a smoothie amongst two children. The food was the best meal we have had out in ages (and boy do we like to eat). We are vegan and it was great to be able to choose anything from the menu, especially exciting for our children. All in all this is the best eating out experience we’ve had in a super long time and it was great to get something other than a vegan burger. We had Mac and cheese, crispy tofu, gnocchi, salad and pancakes with baked treats to go. Love that they sell double barrelled beers too. The waiter was fab, nothing was an issue. Thank you vegivores, we’ll be back soon with bells on.

The menu didn’t look that inspiring but I opted for the Thai tofu curry. In summary, it was delicious. The coconut sticky rice has great texture and it was perfectly cooked. The tofu curry itself had incredible flavour with the vegetables and tofu cooked to a nice softness. Finally, the cucumber pickle added that extra kick, and they weren’t afraid to spice it up with fresh chillis. Definitely recommend it.

EDIT: I was contacted by the cafe after my review and they couldn't have been more keen to see this resolved. I really appreciated their great feedback. ----------- Ordered mushroom tacos and a cocktail. Tacos were amazing, large portion too and really authentic. Really delicious and came out quickly too! Cocktail wasn't great. Unfortunately, while very friendly, the service on a very quiet afternoon was almost non-existent. I was left unattended for long periods and drinks were forgotten twice on a really hot day so decided to get the bill and head somewhere else. I'd probably come back for the great food but left a bit disappointed.

Nice cafe with outdoor seating. Staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and good value for money. I'd come here everyday if I lived in Reading!

Found this place online as I wanted some vegan nice food. The venue is super cool, nice decoration, super friendly staff, has terrace all good and fine. We had 2 types of food and unfortunately I cannot say it was great, me and my girl were very disappointed. Would I go back? Yes but probably for coffee/ tea. As well, the price of the food is quite expensive for what we got but well done for the staff which is top of the line!

The most gorgeous vegan Christmas menu, so delicious. Kevin the owner has a really inspiring menu. I also enjoyed a lovely glass of red wine with less chemicals. They have lots of the menu available to order for your Christmas table, the shallot gravy is 5*.
