Always a great place to stop for a rest after my drives around the country. Great place for food. Bought myson a Japanese takeaway and drove straight to Havant Hampshire, where he's eating his chow now. Friendly staff. Good prices. Popped in on my way home from Blackbush airport. DW

There are a variety of shops in Reading Gate retail park. The toy store has a lot of toys and kids love 'em. For foreigners, it's difficult to get a taxi from the park. I think there should be a taxi stand with service numbers to make it easier for visitors to commute.

Reading Gate Retail Park is located near M4 Junction 11 in the shadow of the Madejski Stadium. Here there is Curry’s, TKMaxx, Smyths Toys, B&Q, Costa, MacDonalds, Itsu, KFC and some other shops. It’s quite a large retail park and gets busy. There are two entrances and exits. The traffic backs up on the main entrance on the A33 so consider using the back entrance that takes you in by Curry’s. Lots of parking and places to eat. You can also park and then go for a walk around Green Park round the back which is quite pleasant especially after food 😉

A good selection of fast food restaurants and retail establishments. A large enough parking lot is located next to storefronts with designated spaces for the disabled. Overall, it's kept in decent order.

Good variety of fast food and shops. Car park plenty big enough with disabled spacing close to store fronts. On the whole it’s kept pretty tidy, with the only real mess coming from the overflowing McDonald’s bins. If I could have one wish it would be to do away with one of the carpet stores as you don’t need two right next door to each other, and put in a Poundland or something similar.

I had a fantastic experience visiting Reading Gate Business Park! The location was easy to find, and the ample parking made my visit hassle-free. While I was there, I also had the pleasure of exploring TK Maxx, which added to the overall enjoyment of my trip. I highly recommend this business park for its convenience and great shopping options. Overall, Reading Gate Business Park offers a winning combination of convenience, and great shopping. It's undoubtedly a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a positive and hassle-free outing.

Price on the aisle end was different to the price on the label and they wouldn't honour it

Hard to find members of staff to ask a question or be served.. que is always long with one or two members of staff behind the counter. I shop online now as it's quicker than flagging down someone at your store.

It's an out of town retail park. It can get busy, and is a bit grubby- could do with more regular clean up (and more responsibe visitors I guess) but it has good shops including Smyths toys, TK Maxx, Curry's and B&Q. There's also a Costa, Itsu and McDonald's

The worst thing about this retail park (apart from the awkward car park) is the exit. I had a huge lorry behind me blowing his horn at me (rude) because I wasn't able to get out into two constant streams of traffic. This is why I try and avoid going there as much as possible.

Bit disappointed that there was no one to ask for assistance on the upper floor. Just wanted a new microwave but nobody around to help but seemed to be abundance of customer service people on the ground floor. Finally found what we wanted and proceeded to the checkout on the ground floor. We were asked if we wanted the insurance for which we didn't and said "No thank you" and then he proceeded to waffle on about how we could save "X" amount of money and it was pointed out that we had said No and that's what we meant, so maybe a lesson in basic English would be an advantage to your checkout operators. Just to say that the microwave that we chose was a good choice and why do you need to have advisors as there were none.

Went to get a new washing machine, the man that served us was very helpful. The delivery was quick new one in old one out. Great job

You can feed the starlings here as they are very used to human contact. They love McDonald's nearly as much as I do.

Attention ! Do not buy PARKSIDE products. They are made of plastic and paper. They are not suitable for single use. "PARKSIDE" pseudo-tools are very dangerous for the user, for you, for your children...

Curry's at Reading Gate Retail Park is what it is. Staff who give just enough to call it customer service. Not super friendly, not unfriendly. A place to get quality products at reasonable prices. Not a place especially chosen for its atmosphere. In saying that, the store was nicely laid out and was clean and tidy. The retail equivalent of a warm bath, with pound shop bubbles.

This site is the home for about 15 large stores. They provide the shared car park space. They also have a McDonald's and a sushi and noodles shop. It's on the outskirts of Reading relatively close to the M4 motorway. It is in Green Park near the football, Madjeski stadium. This place has been around for over 20 years.

Excellent customer service. Ordered on line and ready to collect the next day. Collection from the shop no hassle and given a hand to load into my car.

I just wanted to pop in for a touch and feel of a particular item before deciding to buy and do some more online research. It's a great place for this, probably one of the only places. Not sure if I am allowed to say this, but there was one member of staff who had a hygiene issue and it was so bad, it made me leave the store. How the other members of staff did not notice is astounding !! There is no law against raising such personal hygiene issues with staff members, as long as you do it in private and in a polite and sympathetic way. So, on this occasion, I did not like this visit...sorry.

My recent experience wasn't positive, very abrupt/rude customer service when picking up a mobile phone from an online purchase. I felt like and inconvenience or that I was trying to obtain the phone falsely. I had even filled in the 'I am at the store now' request to help them in store. So thank you to the Irish lady who I am sure really enjoys her job..

A bit everything here. Good stores to visit and a nice selection of food outlets as well. This was during the day, but I can see the parking is more than adequate. Being a biker as well it is nice to see more than the usual motorcycle bays available.

You need wood, a TV, a carpet, sushi, and a lukewarm burger (coupled with the moisture gathered from a bloke standing so close to you in the queue you can taste his hair) then this is the one stop park for you. Make your trip extra exciting my entering the place on the stadium side through the 5.5 ft wide bollards in your 5ft wide car.

Some good and large shops. But the car park is dense, busy, and manic. Pro tip: enter and exit via the fairly unknown entrance to the south.

Easy parking, b&q plus other shops. So easy to get to about a mile from junction 11 m4. Also got a Mc Don.

Not to many things to do in the Retail Park. Curry's is always out of stock, no products in showroom. TKMax is almost useless, same thing all time. Smiths is a last minute ideea for kids present in case you had no time for Amazon. Luckily there is KFC and McD in this park, otherwise it was closed long time ago....

A good all round experience, staff were personable and shop was clean and well stocked. We visited B & Q at this retail park

  • 1/5 5 A. 1 year ago on Google
Fully and unexpectedly crowded. Only one way in and out. I was blocked in a queue on my way out and it took me at least 10 min to get out of the place. Not to mention that every driver is trying to be first so they end up blocking the roundabout multiple times. Horrible experience!

Ample parking, good layout. SatNav takes you to a skinny back entrance, could barely get my van through. A lot easier to get out via the main round-a-bout 🤣.

Good local shopping park, no charges for parking, shops including B&Q, Curry’s PC World, Smyths Toy Store and McDonald’s, 9/10.

  • 5/5 Steve P. 10 months ago on Google
Just popped in to visit B&Q to get a few bits on a Sunday. The carpark was busy but there was plenty of spaces available, and we did not have to queue off the A33 to get into the car park

  • 3/5 Paul B. 1 year ago on Google
Functional with range of decent stores available. Not the easiest to access given road configuration and the parking is a bit of a mess with issues from fast food drive thus causing tailbacks. All in a useful place to visit but avoid busy times.

  • 4/5 Ed P. 1 year ago on Google
You still get slightly hounded by multiple staff members but now they’re not on commission they will leave you alone if you say you’re just browsing. Overall great selection, especially TVs, but every item is still much much cheaper on Amazon.

Access is easy to site. The side with Currys & Smyths gets crowded during the weekends. The McDonalds can cause problems during lunch time because of access. B&Q is well stocked currently.

  • 3/5 Noel M. 1 year ago on Google
Good selection of stores here but AWFUL if you get stuck there after a Reading FC game. CHECK THERE ISNT A MATCH ON BEFORE GOING HERE! You will get stuck for hours getting out!

Went to Smyths... WHY do they stack the toys so high like a 4' kid is going to see... Either stupid or genius.

  • 4/5 Kellie L. 10 months ago on Google
Lots of handy shops all in one place! Visited B&Q and got a bargain on some plants that were on sale. Very easy to get to from the town centre, and loads of free parking with disabled and family spaces.
