A conveniently located public park in the east of Reading that not only is a park but has a lot to offer. There are indoor sports facilities and an outdoor track at the back of the main building. Large car park facilities are free. In addition there is cricket pitch, foot ball pitch, five a side football enclosure, a cafeteria, a library and large play area for the children. Itโ€™s managed and kept in very good order. Thereโ€™s a running track in the outer circle of the park with clearly marked distance measurements from the star to finish. Thereโ€™s a bowling club in the Park.

Very nice park. Well maintained and clean and even though it was busy there's lots of space to still socially distance.

Visited for the Instrumental Ibiza Orchestra. We opted not to pay the ยฃ9 for event parking and instead walked down from nearby. Despite not being published, The event entrance was easy to find with good access. Queues moved fast and we were through security pretty sharpish. The event itself was great with a good selection of music both in full and some short bursts to get you going.

Fresh air, calm, relaxing. Places for kids, a library and sports zone. Oxygen percentage is high, so expect to become sleepy easily. Has many exists to different sides of Reading

Great park with lots to do. New playground equipment for the kids is a big improvement from the old set which was looking pretty run down. Also has a sandpit with equipment for smaller children. Path around the house edge of the park is good for running (quite flat) and also for kids on bikes. Small cafe near the playground does cakes, snacks etc but just takeaway at the moment. Always seems to be an ice cream van there as well!

Great space, there's two play park areas, a basketball court, lots of green space and the leisure centre. In 2022 they're doing lots of building work at the leisure centre which restricts paring, and sometimes big areas on the fields are fenced off but still plenty of space for dog walking. (Also, there are lots of dog poo bins which is very helpful when dog waking!)
