Great sized store with plenty of choice. Staff are friendly and there is a good amount of space to move around the store.

I do enjoy coming into this store. It was extremely busy and a bit tight especially for a buggy or wheelchair, but i just love the variety. The staff are always busy but always helpful, polite and jolly. I do enjoy having my crafting chats with the young man at the till. Thank you

The Works you can buy books, stationery, card making, wool jigsaws, a lot more other things. You can collect points on your points card & then the next month you can news your points take off whatever you in the shop.

Located inside the Broad Street Mall, The Works is where you will find general arts and crafts, for adults and children, also an alternative to Hoobycraft for paper and painting crafts at much reasonable prices. You will also find games, puzzles, books, stationery, storage boxes and the odd useful household item such as juicers, popcorn makers. The store is bright, well stocked and the staff are always on hand to assist.

Veru good discount shop. Sells a large variety of books and audio books at very good prices. Not shy of stocking science books. Well worth a look for the curious.

A place that I have been going to from a very young age and still go to today its a fantastic store in which I would mainly recommend for arts and craft, Books and stationary. (plus its also great for birthday presents)

I love this shop! They have some great products at bargain prices. I like their range of esoteric books and their offers are pretty good (3 for £5 on selected fiction). They're good for stationery and arts & crafts/hobbies. The supervisor pretty much ignores the customers and does this thing where he charges around looking important; however, the staff at the till are always friendly and helpful and their points card scheme is one of the best out there.

Low priced stationery and textbooks.

The shop was very hot and smelt funny. I was looking for alternative ideas for birthday presents but couldn't find anything. I guess the shop will be good for arts and craft bits.

its a small shop, you have to wait for a staff member to recognise you are at the till and for them to get to the till. I have been in there a few times and it has been messy with the staff having no intention of making the appearance of the shop better, by putting things back to where they should be.

Good store with good prices.

I bought play dough from your branch in Reading broad street mall last week and when I opened the package, I saw that the dough was dry and spoiled. When I took it to the branch, I learned that I could not request anything because I opened the package. my complaint about a damaged product was never taken into account. I will never shop at your store again

Had An issue cause I lost my receipt but the store Manager Amy sorted out the issue very quickly.
