Good food. Lots of tables for both pool and snooker. Good ambience and full of people having a good time. Has only 1 American pool though. Sometimes the pool tables where you insert coins or tap to pay are broken.

Excellent pool and snooker club. The food is good as well. The prices are very reasonable. £15 membership for a year is fantastic. Lovely full size 9 ball table.

The Crucible in Reading helped me organise a group event in November for 16 people which went great. Team are friendly, management were really helpful with booking, tables and darts were top quality. Will be visiting again.

Membership is required to play, some of the tables aren't in the best of condition. The bounce from the cushions isn't consistent.

Friendly staff, snooker tables are usually available if you just turn up, reasonably priced. Loads of pool tables. Good place to have in Reading.

Brilliant venue, staff are a top class team. Prices are very reasonable, food always hits the spot. I haven't played snooker there just darts but have seen the tables and also the Stephen Hendry match room and the tables look top class Well worth a visit especially as the table prices are very reasonable as are the membership prices.

Has excellent and friendly staff.. nice ambience.. i play American pool.. one 1 table but Rassons, so really good quality. But the rasson table i think needs to be refelted, and the cushions realigned. The ball is ever so slightly jumping when hitting the cushion. I think it just needs maintenance. But nice place overall.

Great venue, attentive staff and everything is reasonably priced. I got a great mocha in there too ;)

A truly great place to play table sports. Pool, American Pool, Snooker, they have it all and with very high quality tables that are looked after properly. If you're into Pool, Snooker, 9 ball, darts or whatever, this is the place in Reading to visit. I love American Pool tables, and this is the only one left in Reading. A true gem!

Very good sports and games club. Acts as a very good social club in small gatherings. Prices for pool are a bit steep. However, split between friends is not so bad.

If you’re playing on either of the STAR tables play on table 2 NOT table 5. Templates of the pockets are way too tight even for a star table. You also can’t bring responsible guests even when you’re a member of the club which isn’t right. Food and drink is a good price and most snooker and pool tables are quite quick and reactive.

Went on a work social games night. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Pool table was good quality. Food and drink hearty and reasonably priced. Had a very nice shuffleboard table as well which I enjoyed. Looking to return again soon.
