This is my third visit to Playlist Live and I must say, no other venue in Reading provides myself and my group of friends more entertainment than this place! The service is very fast , the cocktails /food up to a very high standard and staff goes way and beyond to accommodate! Above all the live music and the facts we can request own songs to be played is such a brilliant idea!! I have even brought my mother for ‘Spice Girls vs. Beyoncé’ bottomless brunch this saturday -and the service really appeals to a wide age range as my mother had a blast too ! Phenomenal , I will be back soon!

The Playlist Live is a bar on Friar Street in Reading. First time here for me so a first impression review only. Door staff friendly and Aaron promoting was a nice touch a lot of charisma there (good talking with you 😁). Inside the decor and lighting is dark theme with a raised stage mid way down. And live music. Nice. I enjoyed it though on the night it didn’t have that spark - what I mean is I think we caught it on a quiet night and the atmosphere lacked a bit of energy. I’m gonna try it again as it has promise for sure. Recommended? Yeah give it a go.

Great band, super fun Shame the service at the bar did not match. Very long wait times (15 mins or more) at the bar, not sure if it was not enough staff as saw staff just wondering around rather than helping at the bar. If that can be sorted out would return.

Love this place! Cocktails are so good! Good deals some days! Music is amazing! Food.... Just wow. Great place to go for a few drinks with friends. The decor is stunning, I love all the coloured pictures. Only found out about it a few weeks ago and already been back twice since.

This was the perfect venue to celebrate New year's eve! It was a very sophisticated atmosphere and great that the live band play the music we want to hear. The food was great too! Would defo like to go back again for another night out. Its different to any other bar in Reading.

First time here.. loved it! Michaela and Kelly were brilliant and attentive. Could be a bit more organised on entry.. maybe a permanent host at the door to signpost people?

I was so glad to discover we have such an amazing place with live music in Berkshire! The atmosphere is unforgettable when you can sing along together with the musicians and dance all night long. I didn't feel my feet in the morning, bombed the dancefloor!

We organized a surprise party for my best friend's birthday here and it was our best party ever! We were in love with the musician and the song's choice, each new one was better and better than the previous one! I was to say a special thank you to the Playlist Live staff for being so helpful and organized about the preparation, you made our night the most enjoyable ever!

We had a great night out with my cousin. We were told that Playlist Live has the best cocktails in town and we decided to check. It was amazing and we tried many of them but will come back to try others as we still have a lot to try

Wow- Really unique concept, the bands play almost any request you make! The food was tasty and good value for money. Playlist had a good range of cocktails, again well priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, when we spotted some of our friends who were attending the venue also and asked to be moved to the table next to them. This was arranged with no fuss. This is the perfect place for celebrations, I will be booking my birthday here for sure. Well done Playlist!

Everything about this place is great but steak knives with your steak would be good. Food excellent and musicians are great. You can do requests and there wasn't many they couldn't do. Very enjoyable with fantastic atmosphere. Would recommend definitely

Kelly was great and Arron was also very charming on his first day, food was amazing and the vibe spot on, thank you all the staff including the very tall bartender who served us amazing cocktails.

Simona was our hostess for the afternoon for my cousins 50th birthday celebrations and we had the best time! Drinks were lovely and plentiful, music and atmosphere fantastic! Thank you! 😀

Amy was the best host. She did everything right, our old waiter messed everything up and Amy made everything better. She was absolutely superb. This is a great bar for a night out with the girls! An amazing, super talented live band taking requests and decent drinks! I had never been here before and this was a last minute choice. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice guy called Nick and he quickly explained how to make song requests. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn it was happy hour! Drinks were good, requested songs were played and we danced all night. Would definitely recommend!

I've been back to Playlist Live many times and it doesn't disappoint. I've eaten here quite a few times, a variety of different dishes, and they have all been delicious. The staff are always fantastic with their table service and they always have enough staff behind the bar so it's rarely a long wait for cocktails! The live music is always so much fun! The band are excellent! I mean, who doesn't love a sing-a-long??!!

Playlist Live in Berkshire is a great place to go with friends or family for a great night out! It is always full of people, and the live music is great every time we visit it. The cocktails are also one of the best things about this place. They have a huge menu with lots of interesting and tasty drinks to choose from. But this place is great for more than just the drinks and music. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel right at home. Great night, I wouldn't rush back for food, but loved the vibe of the place, felt friendly and safe. Natalie was the best bar staff member, so friendly and genuine. Will definitely be back for more cocktails and dancing very soon

Good music and a good venue, but service leaves much to be desired. Came with a group of friends for bottomless brunch. Service was incredibly slow for the first hour, with some members of staff being rude to members of our party. However, we are very grateful to server Alex, who saved our experience! He was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we received value for money on our brunch tickets, despite the delay in service. Thank you Alex!

Service is excellent, the drinks are delicious, and the live band rocks! We were celebrating a birthday, Playlist provided a birthday cake, props for photos (A right giggle) and had the band sing Happy birthday to my friend. Excellent place for celebrations.

I was thrilled to find Playlist Live because live music is one of my favorite things in the world. The live bands always put on a great show and the sound quality is impressive. It's a great spot to catch up with friends while enjoying good music and drinks.

We were in a big group and our drinks all came at different times. But can’t really complain with the happy hour prices. The bartenders and the band were really friendly, and it’s fun getting to choose the songs.

Bottomless brunch was excellent value for money - best in Reading certainly. You can get any drink, mix the drinks through the session and service is properly fast. You'll need to book in advance but this means the atmosphere is guaranteed to be good. I needed to add and remove extra guests last minute and they accommodated this for me easily. Only minor let down was food (as with other bottomless brunch venues) was between mediocre to OK - if they could learn from Blues' Kitchen in London they'd be unbeatable...

This place has so much potential however it felt like the day we went was the first time they had done a bottomless brunch, the wait times for refills were too long so you didn't really get your money's worth. Lots of food options and drinks to choose from, unfortunately I ordered a gluten free burger and when it came out it looked exactly like the normal buns. I checked with the server who said it was gluten free but I was not convinced. After much debate with the manager we discovered it was not gluten free and it had to be remade. Very disappointing and felt like allergies were not taken serious. Shame as the venue itself is great. Music was excellent. In the evening they had a live band too which was awesome!

Great when the live band are in… dire when they’re not. We just visited while the live band were in but were disappointed that they topped up our gin and tonics with soda water (having split a small bottle between drinks and us requesting for more). We also purchased a “spiced” rum and coke which was filled mostly normal rum and topped up with spiced rum. You’re not getting what you pay for unfortunately.

Natalie and Kelly care so welcoming and advices us on what to have and drink. Also come over several times to make sure we was ok even after bottomless brunch finished to make sure we was ok they made our afternoon 5 star service and could not be made to feel any more welcome

From start to finish the experience was incredible! Nothing was too much! The food and drinks incredible!! A massive thank you to Natalie who again from the second we walked in made us feel at home. 100% will be retuning. Thank you xxxx

Great place with a great atmosphere. Hostesses Natalie and Kelly was amazing and made sure we had the best time.

Kel’s and Nat were amazing! So much fun and attentive. Music died down between 7-8 during the change over to the live band. Was a shame as it felt that the atmosphere tailed off. Music was playing but not very loud for you to fully hear the tracks.

Kelly was our server. She was very good, very welcoming and helpful. Not a bad word to say. The drinks were lovely and the food was pretty good. The concept of the playlist is great.
