Beautiful place to go skiing, snowboarding or just for a walk in the mountains. Winter time sees a lot of snow. Be warned though at busy times of the year the roads come to a stand still with all the cars going up to the ski station, so allow a good amount of time to get there, leave really early if you can as it took us just over 2 hours to drive approximately 6 miles up the mountain to the top.

It's breathtakingly beautiful at the top of the slopes--and great for photos--even if you are a non-skier. It's 90 minutes by train from Atocha in Madrid; 45 minutes by car. The perfect day trip. With the clean, crisp air and peacefulness you feel a million miles away.

There was no snow at all Even restaurants are closed Don’t go if you want to ski unless you ensure that there is a snow

First time to go in this place early in the morning to avoid to much crowd and to get parking area.. It was exciting and the station place has a perfect coffee shops (a must especially this winter) everything is perfect EXCEPT very long que for public toilets "literrally you need to be patient to wait for your turn both male or female toilet"..

Very beautiful place... Magnificent views, easy parking lot.... Helps a lot to take photos. You will feel the breeze on your face

Loved it because we saw snow at a relatively low sea level of 2500 m and felt great being close to Madrid

Its a small ski resort but nice and close to Madrid. An excellent place to spend a day with the kids.

Get there early to avoid the crowds and enjoy the Alpine experience just 1 hours drive north of Madrid.

Have always loved walking Navacerrada mountains, I come quite often, so worth the trip and be sure to eat in the granja city or Segovia areas, wonderful food typical from this area

What a beautiful place to visit. Amazing views, still with a lot of preserved wood and not expensive. Just 1 hour away from Madrid. The only problem is, it can get very very crowded during The weekends. Strongly recommended The visit.
