The Ritter Museum and shop is a place that will make both children and grownups very happy! The famous German chocolate manufacturer sells all different flavours and sizes of their well known products here, and it is a feast for the eyes as well. It's so colourful in there! You can find cute little packages to enjoy yourself or give as a present for every occasion. As Autumn arrives, they display all their Christmas flavours and packages too. There is a whole section of sales and discounts, where you can get big bags with 2 kg of different chocolates for less than 12€. In there you can also buy the new flavours they are testing, before putting them on the main shelves. There are a number of souvenirs and gadgets you can buy, from soccer balls to polo shirts, school supplies and different kinds of reusable bags.

One of the only places that sell Ritter chocolate at a good discount ;). I visit this shop whenever I have to buy chocolates for my family in bulk. They have discounts all the time. Also don’t miss the Museum and cafe. The cafe is located on the side of a beautiful park and it’s a Great Place to have a evening coffee with some desert. They even have full course food options if one wants. But the only pity is that they close early at 18:30. so better to be early so you have sufficient time to shop and eat.

If you didn't get a golden ticket to Willy Wonka's factory, don't despair. A visit to the Ritter Sport factory is way better. There is ample parking so you are practically guaranteed to find a spot even on busy weekends. The Ritter Sport museum is a great place to bring kids. They can learn about chocolate making through interactive exhibits, and learn about how Ritter Sport started (and how they got the "sport" part, and why "quadratisch" is praktisch - the "gut" part needs no explanation). There's a model of a chocolate factory where kids can line up to get a free chocolate delivered by a tiny truck). The chocolate shop (the aptly named "Schoko Laden") offer every flavour imaginable, and there are plenty of pretty good special offers. If at the end you are not walking out with half a ton of chocolate, you are a sad, sad person indeed. This place is a must for bringing your friends who visit from abroad, and don't mind paying the extra charges for exceeding luggage weight limits. The restaurant serves great quality food. Remember to order the hot chocolate... And do that thing you always wanted to do as a child - melt a complete bar of chocolate (your choice of flavour) in a hot cup of milk. This is a place where you can truly discover your inner child. The best part? It's open on Sundays too (check the website before you go).

Chocolate cuisine: Chocolate on a discount. Free parking, easy access, easy to find. Ambience, Nature, café and museum on site. Any Ritter Sport color, type or style is available at a discounted price. We give this experience a five out of five.

It’s difficult to beat education AND chocolate. Everything is in German and English so it makes it easy for most tourists to read everything there is to see. Children can learn about the history of chocolate, the history of the company, as well as see pictures of the plants from which we get the beans used in chocolate’s production. COVID precautions are in full effect and should do nicely for making people feel comfortable coming here for a visit. The wait to see the displays on the upper floor are worth it for those who enjoy a little history and some high-quality displays. The store has a massive selection and if you go shopping after seeing the displays you’re likely to spend a bit extra there! It’s a fun, quick visit for kids and the chocolate is delicious. It’s worth a trip.

How this place is not on the top 5 tourist list in trip advisor or Google search is beyond me! Just outside of Stuttgart (20 min drive), the small museum is free and then there's the chocolate shop and brilliant cafe. Museum is good for all kid ages but its only a small 30-45 min distraction before the chocolate shop. But it's displays are informative and thoughtful and whilst the factory video is in German only (Add English subtitles?) Its like a mini episode of in the factory. Cafe was the best lunch we had in stuttgart by far! (Highly recommend the meatballs and sausages) And good value! And the building is beautifully designed...Free museum, great cafe and look out for the bruchen (broken) chocolate deals! What's not to like!!

Very nice place to buy Ritter sport factory produce at a cheaper price than available at supermarkets. You also get a variety of multi-combi flavour packs at a cheaper price than buying individual pieces. They also a collection of their new flavour exclusively available here. I would suggest this place for buying chocolates in bulk.

Amazing place. You can spend a rainy, cold, or even hot day here and still have a good time. Great people, awesome chocolate and the prices are even better!

The museum is a little simplistic with a few things to interest visitors with one or two samples of this famous brand. There is a video to show the history too. The main attraction to our group was the shop which is full of colour and variety. Lots of flavours and types with the new trail bars at the back. It's also cheaper than the supermarket too which is a bonus

I bit underwhelming. Small museum on the second floor with a small shop on the 1st. Exhibits are in both German and English. Prices for chocolate are exceptional! There is also a small modern art gallery and a small cafe. You can NOT tour the factory. Admissions to the museum is free, but the art gallery costs €6. There is parking for bicycles and cars. From Stuttgart, you can take the U-bahn 5 to Leinfelden and then take bus 826 to Waldenbuch Postamt and walk the rest of the way.

We toured their small museum and then bought lots of chocolates in their shop. Great chocolates and a great experience today. Definitely worth a stop for 1 to 2 hours

If you are in Stuttgart, you would not want to miss a visit to Waldenbuch, Ritter Sport museum and the chocolate workshop. You should book the workshop 1 month in advance and reserve 2-3 hours for the entire visit. It is great that you can do your own chocolate! My son, who eats only white chocolate, mixed a new combination and was very delighted.

I loved this place! Big store with bargained price. Above the store, there was a small yet informative museum. Must visit if you like Ritter Sport chocolates and you’re in the area!

Lovely workshop. Kids and grown ups had fun and got some yummy chocolate out of it. Be aware that there are different kinds of workshops on offer. One for kids with an art element and one more geared towards adults with information on the company and chocolate. Enjoy.

Good place to pick up tasty chocolate as a gift or for yourself. They also have a museum that walks you through their history with some taste testing. There is an art museum as well. I have not visited that part yet. Great place though.

Nice place for a family visit or to buy bulk chocolate because it is much cheaper than the regular grocery shops (about 79 cents each if you buy 10). The shop is downstairs, and there is a small informational "museum" type setup upstairs, which is interesting because it talks about the history of Ritter as well as the ingredients they use (both in German and English). They also have ample parking spaces and a restaurant/cafe as well as a paid museum in a different building.

Nice little museum. The Chocolat store is great and offers better prices than the normal stores plus some extra chocolat types.
