We stayed 2 nights and would be happy to stay again. Lovely room, comfy bed, clean and tidy. Lovely little touches make this place special. Not to far from town centre.

Nice and clean with basic decor but the bathroom was like being in an old persons home - I was excited at the prospect of a spa bath but it was not in my room. Discovered there is a local gym that you can use & owners were really lovely. I had trouble with wifi but I think it was my device not their connection. Lovely and quiet - a good night sleep & lots of sky tv options on TV

We had an unexpected blip in it travel plans and Sam/Ran went out of their way to help us out. When we finally arrived we were impressed with the cleanliness and the facilities, the level of pride they take in the place is to be commended. I have already recommended this place to a friend. 100% would stay again.

Powerful shower and neat bathroom, nice room layout with simplicity modern interior designs made our stay very comfortable. The large fridge and 50" TV was a bonus. I would say this is the best motel we've been in South Island for our Xmas trip. Lovely owners too would stay again!

Really nice place comfortable and clean, only issue was the rooms get cleaned early and we had to ask for it not to be as we stayed for a few days. But clean and comfortable and warm. On the outskirts of town but has a few shops near by for essentials.

Absolutely friendly staff! Thank you for accommodating us on our stay! Coming from Auckland for a family funeral this place was amazing to us! We felt safe and well with no hassle at all even with all the unexpectedness of our trip so thank you so much Oamaru Motor Lodge for having us all room 15 & 12!! This place punches way above its weight. We were running a couple of hours late, missed our estimated check in time, reception called to check on our progress. Reception and check in was a breeze, the lady was very polite and helpful. Cannot fault the quality or cleanliness of the room or the bathroom and shower. Likewise the comfort of the bed and the quality and comfort of the bed linen and towels. And it was so quiet. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Love the chocky fish you get when you check in. Lovely staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. Beds are very comfortable and rooms reasonably priced.

Was ok here really clean and cheap enough for the 3 of us but the wifi signal was very poor and wore lucky to get one bar if that!. I thought the TV was about to go bang! So we turned it off at the wall and that fixed it. The kettle in the kitchen as absolutely disgusting, you need to replace this as it's full of germs on the bottom if it. This name will not register with u and I'm staying with other ppl. I don't think we would stay here again.

We stayed there for 2 nights and the room was tidy and well kept. Would i stay there again. Yes i would. Only thing i would say is maybe larger flat screens which have Netflix because Sky television is getting worse and worse, Repeats and just very sad movies and tv shows. 50 channels and still nothing to watch. Just a thought
