Came from Maryborough and had booked for dinner. Was so disappointed....such a beautiful venue but the fish was burnt and all we could taste was old oil. The calamari was so dry and chewy that we just scrunched up a serviette and lay it on the top of the plate as was embarrassed to send it back. Such a shame. The good news was that we won a major so not all was lost!

What a disaster on Mother’s Day. We made a booking but wish we hadn’t after such a terribly planned service. We ordered at 9am and some (not all of us) received meals 2 hours later. All meals were cold and under cooked. My partner received a small glass of pineapple juice after an hour and a half, which was also the wrong drink as he had ordered orange juice. Drinks could have at least been brought out to pass the long wait time. A jug was brought out without glasses to drink it with. And my parents ordered a breakfast share platter without plates to eat the food off (they then got given tiny side plates to eat their huge platter). No sugar with tea and coffee when requested. It was getting worse as the morning went on. Young staff members looked overwhelmed and couldn’t professionally handle the many complaints from all guests and I felt sorry for them. We got a refund but I’ve never had such poor service in my life. Don’t accommodate for Mother’s Day if you cannot deliver the service (or food atleast).

We loved our stay at the Oaks, Komo. The apartment was lovely, modern and very clean. Customer service was great! We even had a lovely new lady that was learning and she was so friendly. My only feedback is that this place must have a lot of troubles with stayers/partiers as there were large signs posted everywhere with lengthy lists outlining a thousand rules, regulations and fines. This made us instantly feel nervous about our stay and to some extent unwelcome. We expected to have an awful nights sleep as the perception given is that this is a troublesome place to stay. Might be worthwhile having a marketing team look at a friendly way to communicate your concerns to stayers.

Brilliant, fantastic, great,WOW. I don't know how else to put it. Right form the start checking in, the staff were very friendly and informative. The view from our room was unbelievable. Water everywhere and that sea breeze in the afternoon is just what you need the cool off with a beer or a glass of wine. The balcony was a great size as was the apartment itself. We will definitely be back.

The place was nice, we went there for Valentines Day Lunch, we were there around 11.30am and ordered our lunch, drinks and food took a long time to arrive then it was a real disappointment - the food looked and tasted like it was yesterdays reheated - hard bun for the burger, see through cucumber and soggy tomato, very hard chips - leftovers. The kitchen should pay more attention to the meals they serve they should also serve FRESH food each day. A big let-down really for such a special day :-(

The Mon Como is a great spot to stay. The reception staff were amazing, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The units were spacious and clean. Would definitely visit again maybe for a longer period. Highly recommended for couples and families.

Really underwhelming for the price. When you're paying over $300 a night in Redcliffe you do expect a bit more. The room was just boring and was quite tired and shabby - numerous marks on the walls and skirting, weird stain on the carpet and the mini bar was sitting on some random piece of wood. A comfy chair wouldn't go astray. There were big bags of dirty laundry near the lifts the whole time we were there. Not a good look. But the saving grace was a very comfy bed and pillows with lovely sheets and close to the beach and all the cafes. There was also a microwave in the room if that interests anyone. Cheap tea and coffee packages provided. No milk though. Wouldn't stay there again.

Took my wife here for her birthday as a surprise. Staff at reception were extremely nice and helpful. The room I booked overlooking the water as great. A couple of minor little things we noticed, but they didn't affect our comfort or stay. The view was fantastic. Dinning at there cafe, restaurant, bar was 10 out of 10. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

Delicious meals always. Good service. Nice views. Last Sundays experience, As a regular customer and a nature lover. I’m happy with the place. Except, the Ibis birds is becoming a little out of control, this may offend some visitors, Birds might need a little of controlling as the numbers appeared to have increased. Anyway, Ted at service is always at his best. Thank you Ted. Only 3 Stars for the past week.

The pool is tiny with only 4 sun lounges no other seating, no spa or sauna. Parking is a mission. For the price was pretty basic however there's not much choice for accommodation in this area.

Perfect location, good parking & great view. The apartment was clean & comfortable & had everything that we needed but it just looks a bit tired. A most enjoyable stay.

Just had our 40th Birthday here. The staff were fantastic to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. The food platters were delicious, very generous servings and the place itself has a great view to the ocean and a really great overall feel.

Came to check out the venue for lunch on a Saturday. It was a mate's suggestion. We didn't have a booking but we should've made one because most of the available seats outside were in the sun, or you had to sit on a bar stool inside because the tables required a booking. It was quite busy. You can order using the QR code on the table or go up to the counter/ bar. You can join their club, which I recommend doing. I signed up while in line & got a 5% discount off food and drinks straight away. We ordered 2 platters between the 4 of us and we couldn't finish it. There was also live music. It's close to the water and parking is available too.

The room are comfortable. The pebbles on the shower was a bit hard on the feet. Couch was a bit low hard to get up from. The service was poor did not make up the room on my last night. One lift was out of service the swipe card failed to let me in the lift one night. The swipe stand to get to the b2 level and park is two low for 4wds . Drunks in the street at 1 am woke me up and I was on the 6th floor so sound proofing is not great.

Magnificent views of Moreton Bay and islands from the front ocean view rooms. Beautiful sunrises from your balcony or lounge room. Great location close to all the restaurants and Sunday markets. Great bar and restaurant directly below on the street level. Settlement Cove accross the road great swimming area for kids and adults. Plenty of public transport and shared ride options available. Whale watching cruise at your doorstep when in season. Loved it , great spot.

Went for a meet up and lunch with friends today We all ordered together, lunch arrive for the others at our table but mined didn’t arrive before the others had finished eating When I approached staff I was told because I ordered the monthly special that there was a problem with orders not going through to the kitchen and that now my order was ready and thanks for bringing the problem to their attention, and was offered my meal as a takeaway as I didn’t want to eat on my own. No thanks just ensure people get there orders on time If you serve meals to a table and one person has no meal a good staff member will enquire if you ordered and what then follow it up I received a refund but I don’t know if I would try to dine there again

A walk in Brekky. Good seating with ocean view. Scan the bar code type ordering so take your time but remember to check all your add ons are ticked! Good food and reasonable to generous portion sizes. Coffee good. Also done an ala carte dinner once here about 18mnth ago. It was excellent. Down to earth crowd and laid back ambience. $23 eggs Benedict $30 for smashed avo ($2 for the extra sides.)

Very nice large rooms close to everything you may need during your stay. There is also a rather large pub below the property to have a cold beer and some dinner, and also a short walk to other restaurants if you would rather something a little more fancy. Some rooms also have a great view of the beach which is only a short 2-3min walk away from the front of the building.

I have stayed here several times now and am always very happy. Very nicely appointed rooms with all you could need even a laundry in our room. Beautiful location right on the beach with 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. Loved it!!

Large rooms, well appointed, with very comfortable beds. We had a water view 2 bedroom which would comfortably hold two couples for any amount of time. It had large living areas, generous bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a full kitchen a laundry and a very large balcony. The furnishings and fittings are starting to show their age though. The TVs were ancient, one didn't even do HD channels. The chairs are stained and worn. The carpet is becoming threadbare. The pool is a good size and there's a restaurant and beer garden under it. The location is excellent, there's a shopping centre across the road, along with a variety of cafes and pubs. There are parklands and swimming baths across the road.

Staff here were great. Always helpful and cheerful. Apartment very spacious with a view to die for. Only negative and a very small one was that Lounge was a little old and hard to get out of. Definitely will be back there.

We stayed 12 nights (while we under took renovations at our house). We should have booked an air bnb. We booked an apartment for adults and children yet we were not provided a child friendly room, the second bedroom had a deadbolt on it which our toddler found and worked out how to use in a few days of our stay. There was no vacuum cleaner and the apartment was only cleaned once the whole time we stayed (because they didn’t have cleaners coming around every day). The ‘master’ room, had two single beds pushed together to make a queen or king size bed. The windows are not code compliant and open right up so a child could easily have fallen out. The kitchen utensils provided were not adequate for preparing a basic meal unless you were microwaving it or opening a packet and serving in a bowl. We won’t be staying here again.

2 bedroom apartment was nice with a lot of potential. Unfortunately main toilet didn't flush and when we notified staff she was not sympathetic at all to the fact we had to stick our hand in the cistern to flush it manually and we had to wait another 12 hours. At $358/night I expect a toilet to flush especially with 5 people using it. Our son sliced his arm on a door hinge sticking a good 2 inches out of the door frame and again unsympathetic staff. It's a nice hotel with not so nice staff, won't be staying here again.

Stayed only one night in a motel style room, would have liked to stay longer. Clean room.

Pleasantly surprised would be appropriate. Modern bistro type atmosphere and the menu was interesting with briskets, paella, pizza, steaks, schnitzel and seafood to name a few. We had 9 dinning and all the meals were excellent. Definitely going back.

The service at check in was fantastic. The under ground car park was easy to find, but to enter through the roller door the swipe is about 30m behind you! The 2 bed apartment was large and clean (although kitchen floor was greasy) with all the amenities you could need in the kitchen and laundry. Great outdoor living/dining space too. Bed was really comfortable.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in an ocean view room. Location is nice with many local restaurants and bars. The terrace was very spacious even for our friends to visit for some drinks. The bed is freshly made and clean although in general the inside of the apartment could be better maintained especially carpet and curtain which were a bit stained. If you can manage to bring your bikes you will have even more fun riding along the water. You can rent electric bikes nearby but they close at 5 pm which is when we wanted to ride to avoid the strong sun. If you enjoy breakfast on your terrace I recommend you bring a sun umbrella (something you can safely set up as it can get windy on the higher floors) The pool is clean but not very inviting. Sun umbrellas are closed locked and no shade over the pool. It lacks a bit of atmosphere. Underground secure parking was included in our stay. We booked via Agoda and paid $180 per night for a 1 bedroom ocean front apartment.

We stayed for 3 nights while we moved house. We had a gorgeous view of the bay in our spacious two bedroom apartment on the 8th floor. The pool was lovely, overlooking Sutton’s Beach. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Location is close to everything! Mon Komo restaurant was incredible too- great portion sized meals, delicious cocktails and conveniently located within our building. Woolies is just across the road for home cooking in the full kitchen at the apartment and all the local dining is located within a short walk. We will be back if we find ourselves in the area again.

Excellent service, all staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are fantastic and spacious. Just need to clean the cobwebs outside off the windows and rust on the balcony. Overall, amazing! Will book there again.

Couldn't fault anything. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy and bed was super comfy. And the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Will definitely stay again.

Luxurious apartments with large balconies. If lucky enough to get an ocean view outstanding.. probably not so great without the ocean view. Seperate Pub and restaurant on ground floor. Walk across road to beach.

Staff awesome. Bathrooms immaculate and well supplied with accessories. Bed comfy and clean. Didn't feel that the carpet and lounge suite were properly cleaned. The balcony floor and the glass were not clean. The balcony posts had good deal of cobwebs between them and the glass. Found a glass in the dishwasher not used by us. Overall a fab situation and would return.

Great location as it's close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Also had an ocean view room which was beautiful and staff at reception was very friendly. Which I wasn't to happy about is the state of the apartment. Sofa was uncomfortable to sit on (as it old), carpet needs to be updated and a few other things. Also there was a lots of dust underneath TV cabinet, near wardrobes ect. Bathroom wasn't very clean either & you could smell drain/mold as the bathrooms have no window. Being a housekeeping supervisor for years and seeing all that was a little shocking to me. Other then that the apartment was good, it also depends on each individual standards. For the state of the apartment I personally think it was overpriced.

Beautiful venue, well located and really good service. Staff were lovely. We had a conference there over two days.... lunch was a selection of sandwiches with lots of different breads, not very nice fillings and the bread was very heavy. The salad did not have any dressing so it was quite hard to eat. Overall a good experience, would just prefer a lighter menue with some healthier options.

If you can fault it let me know and I'll gladly sit down to pick apart your reasons. Desk staff are awesome, even topped up my little milk containers. Coffee is good with milk

Like most dining spots in Redcliffe, the location is wonderful - the atmosphere good but the food is a real let down - management let themselves down by NOT investing in a good chef/s. What they obviously don’t realise is they ‘are’ losing money because the serve sub standard food. Food is so important and is a big part of what brings business, you don’t get this right and its the surest way of going broke. They’re going broke because they won’t invest in their kitch staff…..what a shame, because the location is great and how it presents is great - but it stops there. DON’T order food - even if you’re paying $20, its $20 wasted on sludge that is over cooked, flavourless and over salted…..🤦🏽‍♀️
