We
had
a
really
great
time
at
the
Sundial
Bridge.
Walking
on
the
river
walk,
the
Turtle
Bay
Museum
and
checking
out
the
bridge
which
is
very
cool.
The
Sacramento
River
has
great
trails
with
wildlife
all
around.
The
trail
near
the
bridge
includes
a
beautiful
garden
with
educational
stops
for
everyone.
The
Turtle
Bay
Museum
and
it's
grounds
were
fun
for
all
of
us,
including
my
fifteen
year
old
daughter.
She
interacted
with
birds
in
the
Parrot
House
and
butterflies,
and
zipped
on
the
zip-line
in
the
playground.
I'm
sure
her
favorite
part
was
the
butterflies
though,
as
we
spent
well
over
an
hour
in
the
butterfly
house.
In
the
museum
there
was
a
hand
on
educational
room
that
has
really
fun
activities
about
prehistoric
flying
reptiles,
Pterosaurs.
A
whole
room
displaying
replicas
of
the
items
discovered
in
King
Tutankhamun.
Pretty
fascinating.
There
is
a
cafe
that
is
currently
being
remodeled
but
Mosaic
Restaurant
was
open.
If
you
are
unfamiliar
with
reading
it's
very
hot
in
the
summer
months
and
stays
pretty
warm
until
October.
I
recommend
sunblock
and
if
your
heat
sensitive
the
indoor
part
of
the
museum
and
Mosaic
restaurants
during
the
summer.
Otherwise
visit
early
or
in
the
evening
I
know
they
open
at
9:00
a.m.
the
bridge
and
trails
are
always
open
but
not
all
of
the
grounds.
