The overall stay was good though there was some pretty loud stomping from the room above us. However the service was amazing. We checked in late at night with Thomas and he had a great attitude even though there was another customer being aggressive. The room was clean but wasn't anything overall extraordinary.

I was a member of the staff here. Very disrespectful staff. They never take off the top blanket or second blanket no matter how nasty it gets nor looks they won’t change it. They talk about other people who rent the rooms out very poorly. They aren’t thorough when it comes to good cleaning and support. Would not recommend working here or staying here. (Lots of bugs in the rooms as well)

The rooms are great, and really clean. Friendly staff. Just remember 1 thing that you might not be aware of before you try to get a room here: locals have to pay a $300 cash deposit, to get a room. You get deposit back when you check out, if you haven't messed things up in your room? Great location. Right off the freeway.

The beds are horrible. None of us were able to sleep because they were as hard as a rock. I kept having to switch sides because the side I was laying on kept going numb. We selected this hotel as our resting place halfway through our 20 hour drive. The fact that I was unable to sleep after driving for 12 hours straight was really disappointing. Having to get up and go another 8 hours was very difficult. With the amount of money that has been spent on decor it’s disappointing that none of that went to replacing the beds with ones more tolerable. I did read the reviews before I booked and some of them mentioned the beds but I thought how bad could they be? For me, I wish I would have just paid an extra $75 to stay somewhere else. It wasn’t worth it in the end.

After enduring a tiring 6-hour journey, I arrived at the hotel feeling completely exhausted. However, the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the most kind-hearted, cheerful, and beautiful person named Liz. Her warm welcome instantly lifted my spirits, and she graciously allowed me to check in early at 6 am. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, and the level of service I received was truly deserving of 5 stars. The room I booked was meant for two people, and as a member, I was able to secure a weekend rate of just $135. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews about the room, but my worries quickly dissipated upon entering. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was maintained to an impeccable standard. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I must admit that the overall experience surpassed my expectations, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. The hotel's attention to cleanliness, the friendly and helpful staff, and the level of comfort provided in the room made my stay truly memorable.

Absolutely the worst hotel in Redding CA. The room the gave us stuck so bad and so over priced . This room was so nasty 🤢 they refuse to give me a refund to go somewhere else. Crack heads all over outside of the hotel watch your belongings. Paid almost 200 dollars the shower head was falling off mold all along the edge of the bathroom . This place should be condemned. Please save your self from a nightmare from hell experience.

I have been billed four times since my two day stay a week ago. When I called them it was denied by the Super 8 employee. The total that has come out of my bank is over double my actual bill. I had to file a claim with my bank to attempt to recover the overcharges. Also, the phones never worked and I was unable to call the office from my room. The employees were made aware of this.

I have stayed here several times because staff is very friendly and so helpful. The company needs to spend some refurbishing dollars . The staff however does a great job keeping things clean and smelling good. I will continue to stay here when going through Redding.

Staff here is excellent, especially if you have to book a room and you're currently registered. As someone who lives in shingletown, it's only $200 deposit to get a room and you have to understand all the motel side on a risk which I do from completely different backgrounds. I hate going over to the ATM and getting the money, but they're an excellent place for me to use the internet and complete my contracts. Otherwise, Susan and the rest are amazing 😍 love the care and caring you get from this simple hotel but they make you feel home and as someone who's a regular here you would love to enjoy

This property is in desperate need of a remodel. Chipped paint on the walls, the mattress should absolutely be replaced, to say it was extremely uncomfortable is putting it nicely. And the awful smell. You couldn't give me enough money to EVER stay at this property again. Oh yeah and the "breakfast " they advertise is a banana and a yogurt. Stay away from this hotel!!

Terrible place, decent front desk staff. How the hell does this place earn 3.5 stars? Room smelled awful, beds were made of bricks or something. I don't know what the inside of the "air conditioner" looked like but I bet it looked like a lint trap from a laundry mat in the poorest part of San Francisco. It blew air that leaves you with a 48 hour migraine. I suggest spending a little more money if you just Have to visit the taint of Hades. Good luck with that.

I stayed here for one night just so I can get rest after driving for so far. They thankfully had a room for me and my dog. Angela was very kind to me and a very sweet lady. The beds were SUPER comfy and I loved sleeping. The breakfast was just banana, yogurt, oatmeal, or granola bar so I didn't eat there. They also have a pool but I didn't swim there. Super fair price for the location. Great Mexican food right across the street! Felt very safe.

Surprisingly great! The most friendly front desk I have experienced in a long time. Thank you for giving us a great feeling of being welcome and valued. This proved that you don't need a five star hotel for a great stay. Rooms were also big and clean. Your perfect place and location for trips to Lassen National Park. Would love to come back.

The staff was amazing and friendly, and I wanted to rate it higher, but it was the worst Super 8 that we’ve stayed at. It was noisy, the furniture wasn’t in great shape, the parking lot felt unsafe, and there were signs saying that you should bring in all of your belongings( which was hard for us because we were moving our daughter into her dorm at college.) Also, the breakfast was sad. A review from a month ago said there were waffles, but there were no waffles. There were bananas, coffee, teas, granola bars, and oatmeal packets. Not much more.

Booked the place on a busy long weekend just before arriving. So it costed us a bit expensive. We lucky got a quieter room. It s a pet friendly place. Bed and sheets were clean. Furniture might feel a bit outdated/ rusty but we dint mind given we needed something to sleep for a night. Breakfast was basic - bars, banana, apple/ orange juice, instant oats, coffee. Checkin and checkout was smooth. Plenty of parking is available. Staff was friendly.

Tom helped us check in, very nice.. room clean, bed comfy, only complaints is no mat for tub/ shower & very slippery !! Had to put towel in bottom of tub so wouldn't slip and fall. Also sleep with a C-pap and only 2 plug-ins in whole room, behind bed/ behind TV. Very difficult to get to, Thank goodness we carry extension cords. sometimes lamps have outlets but not here...

Was a good quite stay with clean rooms and great location, you can even stay in the pool later as long as you're quite. Kids had a blast. Friendly staff as well.

Check in lady was courteous. Rundown hotel with dated interiors and small rooms. Super thing walls so you can hear the neighbors. Breakfast was a joke, granola and sugary packaged juice. Quite expensive for the location.

The two managers were really friendly and nice. It's a low price hotel but clean!

Honestly overall the hotel was bad. The staff were plain out disrespectful to you. I needed another towel because obviously my room got missed while doing the job so I ask and I get a response from the staff lady letting me know they’re short on towels until the load is done. She proceeded to raise her voice at mw and look me up and down, I was in shock. I believe her name was Amanda.

Very nice staff. How ever in the first room we opened the restroom door to a shower of water coming from the ceiling floor was obviously covered in water. The next room was acceptable, with obvious signs of previous ceiling leaks in that room as well. Rooms need newer furniture cabinets stained and sticky. Now for the complimentary breakfast that is false advertising. A gernola bar, instant oatmeal, yogurt and juice. I will not use 8 again.

Stopped here on my way to Spokane. Nice rooms are okay, not anything special, i had a dog, so those rooms may be different. It was on the ground floor, which made it way easier. Price was okay, just know that there is an upcharge for a dog, only $10, so not bad Check-in was quick, and Thomas made it seemless. Right across the street from several restaurants. Easy off and on for those traveling.

Clean rooms, good service. Could use an improvement on the breakfast. Excellent location for quick access to food, Lassen, Shasta and Burney
