$150 after tax for one night on a Thursday night with military discount. The MOST uncomfortable bed I have slept on in a hotel room, I woke up at 2am with back pain and every hour after until I got up at 8. I made it to the office just after 9 and was greeted by a lady who was very brief in telling us breakfast was over at 9 like my kids and I were now an inconvenience to deal with. Disgusting dirty inside the room, there was black hair stuck on the “clean” white towels in the bathroom, dirt and food everywhere, old paint coming off all over, and the worst wifi possible.

COCKROACH INFESTATION IN ROOM 132 Called ahead 8 hours to ensure we'd have a freezer large enough to store a cooler full of breast milk in, was told it was an upcharge. Upon arrival, they didn't have more than a mini fridge's built in freezer in their mini kitchenette that was the upcharged room. After feeding my 2 month old, and getting both my 2yo and 2mo to sleep, I saw a cockroach run under the upcharged mini fridge. Moved the carseat that was on the table and 3 more scattered from behind the table on the wall. I went to notify the front desk, and my husband found even more under the little stove. If that's a room worth $180, I'd hate to see what they charge for one that's bug free. That's not safe or sanitary to have adults in, let alone 2 small children. We checked out and went to a different hotel that managed to meet our needs AND be bug free. Likely would have gone to the new hotel had this Travelodge not lied about having freezer space.

We stopped here on our road trip, so tired from driving, and loved this hotel. It was surprisingly comfy with a bathtub and fridge, but the real reason we loved it was the service. The hotel's staff, Jolene, was helpful, welcoming and super cool. Recommend Redding's Travelodge to anyone looking for a nice place to crash.

Beware of what you might get if you get a doggy room ! The floor was has hard tile ,( try to be quiet with a dog on tile / linoleum , top floor) . Resent bathroom remodel was terrible , toilet run all night and the bed was cheap and very uncomfortable , and the room was not that clean . But for $ 129.00 /night what would you expect? We have Stayed here before and did not recall any issues , pleasant staff , no issues there , but luck of the draw prevailed here , rather bad luck ! we won’t return . If you’re not paying $200.00+ a night for room anymore you might b disappointed with the results. Why would you rent a room out that you wouldn’t sleep in yourself? The location was the main attraction for this place for us but we’ll move on!

Front desk girl was very nice and informative. However, the majority of our stay was unpleasant. The first room we got had a broken toilet. It wouldn’t flush so the front desk assigned us a second room. A radio (supposedly from cleaning crew) was left in the room. Bath tub is very very shallow that water will never cover your body if you sit in it. There’s a strong smell in the room and towels are not clean — have lots of hair in them. And then at 5am in the morning the maintenance came to fix the toilet in our first room (which is right above us), and was very loud. The place apparently don’t have good sound proof. No breakfast was offered. They say they plan to offer breakfast in April.

We were traveling from Alabama and this was our last nights stop before getting home to Oregon. The service was top notch and this is by far the nicest Travel lodge I have ever stayed at! The staff upgraded us to a suite so we would have more room because we had two dogs with us! So unexpected and nice😊 The bed was cozy and the Thai restaurant within walking distance had delicious food too!

Sunny was a hoot. She was very welcoming and said OMG your baby is beautiful. I had my service dog with me. She was training a young lady and was very clear with her instructions and very professional with her trainee. Sunny was very cheerful and talkative. She explained what was available for breakfast and the times that it was available. She absolutely was professional with my Oreo. In the morning Heather was at the desk. Very pleasant woman. She also asked if she could pet my service dog. The rooms were clean. I originally thought there were no blankets but I was wrong. There were comfy blankets. The property was clean and I felt safe there. The usual signage concerning don't leave things in the cars were there. Like I said I felt comfortable. Walked my dog when we got home from the concert. Breakfast was available and it was actually pretty good. Eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, juice, waffles both mini and large. Make your own. Butter and other things were available. The area to eat was clean. Thank you Heather and Sunny. I think the young lady being trained name was Megan. She appeared to be quite interested in what she was being taught.

Very nice place. The motel appeared to be well organized, well run and well maintained in every way. The rooms were clean and nice, and the hotel area was also characterized by good order and tidiness. I found it positive that there was a proper fridge in the room, at the right height (in addition to better space, you don’t have to lay down on the floor every time you need to get something in there). The pool area also appeared inviting and nice. In addition, the staff were both friendly and helpful. There were also laundry facilities at the hotel, which is always an advantage. This also worked great. It can also be mentioned that Caldwell Park is just a short walk away. After a long drive, it can be nice to stroll around the park area and the paths along the Sacramento River. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to check out the breakfast (but usually my expectations when it comes to "breakfast" at US motels are very low). This is a place I would recommend, and I would happily return to this Wyndham motel in Redding.

After circling the parking lot twice on Thursday night, we had to park on the street to check-in. Night staff directed us to park in a no parking zone. All rooms were booked. Upon approach of the room, the door was wide open, beds were stripped, coffee was left in the pot, room had yet to be cleaned but a note on the bedside table read "Have a nice stay". Phoned the front desk clerk who exclaimed "Are you kidding me?!" Upon hearing the state of the room, she offered to come make up the beds when the next clerk arrived. Being it was after 10:30 p.m. with a sleeping child there was no option to wait. Upon turning in the room keys the clerk apologized for the state of the room and advised they would try to get the room refunded but it was now the weekend so the owners would be in Monday to decide upon a refund. What better reason is there to refund a room? The night clerk was very understanding and apologetic but the ball was dropped by the cleaning staff. We had driven 13 hours this day and to find a room open to the elements with the previous occupants trash and stripped beds was just a bit more than what we could accept.

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels. The exterior looks like a castle, making it easy to see and inviting for kid's lol. The rooms are big, and the staff is really good about checking every room for cleanliness and being kind and respectful to the guests. If an issue arises, they are fast and efficient to get it solved. I would recommend this hotel every time

Good for a night stay. Rooms with kitchen (plates were dirty though). Don't opt for breakfast, it's better and cheaper to have it outside. Good if you get in < $100

My parents felt safe staying there. They liked the way it was as far as cleanliness. Super simple To reserve a room over the phone, my parents also felt very Comfortable talking to the front desk. Is mom and pops said they were kind Great place to stay for parents.

This room was absolutely gross. A dead bed bug on the bathroom counter, pubic hairs in the sheets and in the bathtub. Mold in the bathtub grout. The bed doesn’t even have a box spring , but metal cot legs. Furniture very outdated. I refused to stay here and reception was nice and apologetic about it. She came with me to the room and took pictures of the issues. I was told me the owner would refund me in the morning at 5am and that never happened. This is a one star hotel in my opinion and I wouldn’t stay here.

For what we paid and what we got- it surpassed all our expectations. An amazing price to delivery ratio. It’s a modest lodging accommodation that was incredibly well maintained! Our room surpassed our expectation’s, the front staff were attentive, welcoming and kind. Overall, this stay was very pleasant. Highly highly recommend!

The staff is absolutely amazing! From Sunny who checked me in, to Megan, who Sunny was training, to Heather, who was at the front desk in the morning. We had to stay longer than originally planned due to car issues, and everyone was very helpful. If you need a clean, inexpensive place to stay in Redding that has an exceptional staff, I cannot recommend this Travelodge enough!

Good value. Very friendly front desk service. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was disappointing, food did look not really inspiring ...

The owner/staff must have created accounts to bump up their score with fake reviews. This place is not good. The beds are terrible. I got moved after the first night, and the second room was just as bad. They are all sunken in around the headboard from people sitting on them to watch TV. They are tiny, thin mattresses on a super cheap slat frame. The air conditioner in the room is the loudest I've experienced. The bathrooms have no exhaust fan, or at least the switches didn't work to operate them anymore (in both rooms), kind of disgusting. The breakfast here is not good. The WiFi is unuseable. Would not return or recommend it to anyone!

It's the first hotel we booked, that has nice clean room and floor at a fair price. We had a smoke free and pet free room, most likely why. No hassle with booking, no deposit fee either! I liked the parkings, they are right in the center of the hotel. Since the rooms are built around them, like a U shape, it makes it easier to get to your rooms or to your car at either distance, they all end up the same. Which was a plus for me. The only thing that bothered me was the pillows... They are are way to soft!!! My head sank in! All the hotels pillows are the same! I always wake up with a stiff neck and slight headache everytime. In all that was a pleasant experience at the hotel.

Clean grounds, clean lobby and clean room! Amazing staff that are genuinely kind and happy. Our room is amazing- spacious with kitchenette! Beds are clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean, hot water and nice pressure. The pool was great as well for my kids! So happy to have stayed here.

The room smelled strongly of cleaning products. Door didn't close properly without slamming and the bed was not comfortable. Breakfast bar was your standard hotel fare.

Overall, this was a fine place to stop for the night in route to our destination. The staff were friendly and professional and the location was fairly close to the 5 FWY for convenience. The breakfast offerings were below average, even for a budget hotel.

Super fast check-in even though I was a little early. Front desk was very accommodating and very professional. The area is average. Not many places to eat within walking distance.

Pros: Friendly and helpful front desk Handicapped room was pretty spaceous Cons: Breakfast was decent and adequate but not great. Location was not the best. Overall, this Travelodge was adequate for an overnight stay for a budget hotel.

I've had a rough time since covid and my brain doesn't process things the way it used to. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman kind caring and with patience. He gave an extensive list of restaurants in the area highlighting Ethnic cuisine and small business. Such kindness in trying times is so appreciated. The Room, big with everything you need big TV, space, clean, coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave, clean linens, iron, and an outdoor pool. The breakfast bar was hot with many choices, bagels cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, let me be clear a 2 star hotel with 5 star service, and for the prices in the area I did call 3 hotels prior and they were rude and impatient with my ability to get my words out. I'd definetly stay again !!! Thank you!!!

A two-star hotel with a five-star service. Has all the essentials you need such as refrigerator and microwave. Staff was extremely nice and even gave us tips on where to explore around the area. The only downside is breakfast ends so early but other than that, it was more than what we expected.

We had a very nice stay. The young lady that checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly. Check in was fast. The room was clean and the area is nice. This hotel is near the Sun Dial bridge and many trails.

While journeying, we stopped into Redding for the night and the Travelodge seemed the best option. After arriving and reaching our room, we found a large room, complete with plenty of floor space and a full kitchenet. Everything seemed clean, and well maintained, although the condition of the laminate floor and base boards was questionable in places. Note that this motel might not be suitable for accessibility reasons. While I don't know if they have more accessible room, the room we got was a bit challenging to get to, and the room itself had bumps and dips in the floor that could easily be tripped on if not careful. The bathroom was also very cramped.

Wow! Where do I start,? The customer service at the front desk was so accommodating and truly kind. I felt like they genuinely care...and they do! When I got to my room I was so wonderfully surprised how fresh and spotlessly clean the room and bath and bedding...well, just everything! I had a very comfortable sleep as well. I have to travel through Redding quite often...so I plan to stay here every time...This hotel has no down sides...ALL 5 star ALL the way! Thank you!
