After
circling
the
parking
lot
twice
on
Thursday
night,
we
had
to
park
on
the
street
to
check-in.
Night
staff
directed
us
to
park
in
a
no
parking
zone.
All
rooms
were
booked.
Upon
approach
of
the
room,
the
door
was
wide
open,
beds
were
stripped,
coffee
was
left
in
the
pot,
room
had
yet
to
be
cleaned
but
a
note
on
the
bedside
table
read
"Have
a
nice
stay".
Phoned
the
front
desk
clerk
who
exclaimed
"Are
you
kidding
me?!"
Upon
hearing
the
state
of
the
room,
she
offered
to
come
make
up
the
beds
when
the
next
clerk
arrived.
Being
it
was
after
10:30
p.m.
with
a
sleeping
child
there
was
no
option
to
wait.
Upon
turning
in
the
room
keys
the
clerk
apologized
for
the
state
of
the
room
and
advised
they
would
try
to
get
the
room
refunded
but
it
was
now
the
weekend
so
the
owners
would
be
in
Monday
to
decide
upon
a
refund.
What
better
reason
is
there
to
refund
a
room?
The
night
clerk
was
very
understanding
and
apologetic
but
the
ball
was
dropped
by
the
cleaning
staff.
We
had
driven
13
hours
this
day
and
to
find
a
room
open
to
the
elements
with
the
previous
occupants
trash
and
stripped
beds
was
just
a
bit
more
than
what
we
could
accept.
