We called and asked Susan if we could bring our own food for our son who was highly allergic and goes into anaphylactic shock. She was happy to help us. We throughly enjoyed our meals and drinks and will be back again! Thanks, Susan!!

Visited this lovely little bar with local friends. Food was good and well presented with big portions. It is however bar food but still tasty. Service was impeccable and extremely nice and polite! Will definitely visit again and totally recommend to anyone visiting or passing by! You’d feel at home!

The food here was exceptional! The only critique I had was the calamari was not crispy, instead it was a bit chewy. The burgers however were phenomenal! Perfectly seasoned and charred! The environment is wonderful too. Very relaxing and kid friendly. Will visit again!

Don't believe those superstitions about Black Cats. This little place has a great menu, not your typical "pub" food. I really had a difficult time deciding but was very happy with my selection of the Ridgefield Salmon Burger - which is house made. Lots of salmon (not canned) and nicely seasoned. Came on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, purple onion, remoulade sauce and with a huge side of house fries. The RSB with the remoulade sauce was really tasty and satisfied my fussy palate. The staff was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable and the pub is very clean. This lover of black cats will be returning for another one of the treats on their menu in the near future.

The food is amazing and the service is one of a kind. This is amazing place to bring the family too. I strongly recommend trying this place out when you get a chance.

Black cat is a cool place to grab a bite and brew. Parking is easily available, decor is cool and tavern-ish, and the staff are friendly. We had the wings, tuna tacos, and a tuna bowl. Wings were crispy and juicy. Tuna was cooked right in the tuna bowl and tacos. The flavors in both tuna dishes complimented one another really well. It does get a tad loud and may be hard to hold a conversation during peak time but the atmosphere changes to something more pleasant once there are maybe 2 or 3 empty tables . Would come again

Quite possibly the best food we've had in the area. No exaggeration. The service is very friendly and the place is usually packed which is a good indication of the quality. Highly recommend for a very nice casual dining experience and excellent cocktails.

Very friendly staff. Good American pub food. Would recommend for casual meal. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could but feel 3 isn't right. I've eaten here multiple times and plan to eat here many more in the future.

Now upon pulling up to this little spot one doesn't get a great impression. Its a small parking spot for a small restuarant...when walking in the feel of the place is homey yet a bit cramped. For some strange reason there are two different entrances to this lil pub which presents a bit of a draft issue in the colder months with people coming in and out of either side...other than the ambiance leaving much to desire the food was pleasantly good. I ordered the black cat burger which was slightly reminiscent of a rueben sandwhich with rye toast for buns, swiss,grilled onion,russian dressin....it arrived assembled and cooked to order. Nice size patty that was juicy flavorful and fresh. The onion rings were sparse but decent and all in all I would say it was good, I think that I might try it again in the summer for a better overall review. Edit: came back around the way here and the burgers weren't as good as I remembered The cod was a massive piece which is a good value but made for a clunky sammich. All in all its good but nothing that will wow you over atm.

The Black Cat Grille falls comfortably in the category of "American Pub Food." Offering burgers, sandwiches, small plates, and a full bar selection, it's hard to go wrong here. I had a blackened catfish sandwich which was superb. My family were all equally satisfied with their choices. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server, Sarah, was so good with the kids. I definitely recommend going here.

The menu really spoke to me, filled with all my fav starters, fabulous salads and main dishes! The staff couldn't have been more courteous or attentive...let us linger afterwards to catch up. We loved the tables outside, I had thai wings which were delightful!! My slaw' was just like Mom's and my friend raved about her salad! I love this place!!!!! Won't be a stranger!
