This is one of the most beautiful --least trafficked areas to explore the outdoors. Great place to take the dog on a hike or to sit and read on one of the nicely placed benches. Park staff are friendly and great stewards of this place.

Amazing Dahlia garden, so colorful, so many varieties. An easy morning hike with friends after spending some time in the garden. A few easy trails around and lots of things for kids to do and learn about farming and gardening.

This is a great park to learn about gardening and to go for a walk. There is not a playground, but it does host great community events so check the calendar on the website to see what’s coming up

Incredible hidden gem: this massive park is an amazing place to take your kids. They have goats, pigs and chickens, as well as tractors that you can check out, and tons of open area to run around. My son absolutely loves going here.

Beautiful tranquil agricultural center with large flower and veggie garden, walks along the stream or road, and antique farm equipment for kids to play on. Bluebirds and goldfinches everywhere. Good place to bring kids or pets. Plenty of parking. I'm not sure the garden is wheelchair accessable, however.

Beautiful and relaxing. I love going to the gardens every month or two and seeing what's new. Great place to go for ideas on your own garden! Also the dalia garden is gorgeous!

Gorgeous place with lots to offer. There’s large open space with historical buildings and signs. There were some picnic tables under big shady trees to eat at/rest or you could bring a blanket to eat on the lawn which well kempt. There are walking trails that are great for birdwatching. The garden (university of Maryland extension) has placards with the plant names and interesting horticultural tidbits.

One of the most beautiful places in Montgomery County Md. It has demonstration gardens and programs for people of all ages. I went to an exhibit at the farmhouse and learned so much about Maryland's untold history. The staff is pleasant and very knowledgeable. Has hiking and biking trails, farm animals, breathtaking sunsets. Rock Creek also runs through it. Family friendly and very safe.

It’s a nice big green space but for awareness visited April 2023 and they have gotten rid of most of the animals except 2 goats, they said they didn’t have anyone to help keep them and the museum was closed midweek because they didn’t have anyone to staff it. Great for a walk or hike but no more museum or animals which was a fun activity for kids

Went to the Fall Festival and enjoyed the go slow atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Friendly informed staff. Plenty to do to occupy the kids from age 3 to 43 for the day. Food was great and reasonably priced. Loved the bands and exhibits and the kids had a blast.

Great place to visit with the family, my kids had so much fun, they were so excited to see the goats, chickens, and the garden. Plenty of area for running, walking, hiking etc. Great place to have picnic as shaded areas are available and it's well maintained.we would definitely go back.

What a great place to take the kids! My son loves going there with so much room to run around and so many TRACTORS! He loves tractors and has sat on every one of them at the farm. There are also chickens, goats and pigs on site, a huge field of corn, and outbuildings to explore. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. There is enough room to safely socially distance too, and lots of shade and picnic tables.
