The atmosphere was pleasant and teacher was warm. Bumping off two stars for 1) Little direction in teaching art skills (drawing, sketching, color theory) for kinder-1st graders. This is a great age to introduce these theories in a fun-filled way. More focus on crafts. 2) Classes are a little monotone for a young child. If you're looking for your child to quietly spend time doing fun crafts next to a group of children, this might be for you. For actual skill building and methodology with certified teacher I recommend other art studios in the area.

Our 10 year old daughter took two wheel throwing workshops this summer and had a wonderful experience and enjoyed all the instructors. She also loved the studio space and found it to be very comfortable. If she had the opportunity to go everyday she definitely would. Thank you!

Both my kids ages 7and 12 have taken classes with Redmond Art Works since they were 5 yrs. The staff is always ready to help and answer questions. The teachers are lovely and take great interest in each student while teaching. All the classes are fun and educational. My daughter had her 7th birthday party at the studio, she and her friends had a blast with all the activities offered. Highly recommend the classes and the birthday party venue.

Came here for pottery studio time -- such a great deal, $15 an hour including glazing and firing. The studio is beautiful and spacious. Everything, including water bucket, towel, and pottery tools, was set up at the wheel when I came in. The staff was so friendly and gave us all the instructions and help we needed. Highly recommended, and will definitely come back!

So glad I found this place. I needed to get 2 cups fired that I bought in Wenatchee and painted at home. Another place in town wouldn't fire them and recommended a place in Seattle. NOPE. I looked up this place online and for $5.00 they put my cups on the fire line, gave me a tour and then let me sit down and paint another cup. Ive now painted 2 pieces that turned out outstanding and i had a great time. the Staff are fabulous! Great place for adults and kids. Im going to take a clay class next.

We've just celebrated my daughter's 7th Birthday in this lovely place. Kids were so excited! There are so many activities to try. Good place, wonderful teachers/assistants. I wish we had 2 h instead of 1,5 h, but there is an extra time between parties, so thankfully we finished on time! 🙂 Thanks again!

Gabe! Annie! And the whole crew there... AMAZING! Second dime around with classes for my daughter, she loves it, it just feels wonderful to be there and watch them work with the kids (and the adults in the adjacent studios). Even hosted my daughter's birthday there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! And, thank you to R.A.W. for everything!

My son loves RAW and has been going to classes here since we discovered it a few years back when we were looking for an art place to do a birthday party. The teachers are awesome and very supportive. They have many different classes and any and all we have tried always builds on skills. My son looks forward for his classes and his time at RAW. Just being in a space that supports his creativity and allows him to express himself through various modes of creative arts is awesome to have in our community. I am looking forward to having my other child experience RAW soon.
