I’m so happy today I finally finished my last session in Orangetheory. I give it a 2 star since I am feeling happy today. I would give the classes over all a 3 star, but after I found this is not for me I had to continue to be on this for another 1.5 month makes me feel very bad so my overall experience here is 2 star. Classes: 1. If you hate treadmill, they make you run 20-30 mins on it. Be careful, it gets more and more unbearable overtime. 2. The treadmills are right next to each other, if they person smells(this happens to me almost all the time), you are going to have a hard time running. And normally you have at least one person right next to you since the equipments are placed to close to each other. 3. If you hate rowing machine, they make you row 10-20 mins. Again be careful and judge if you can do this every workout session and not get bored out. 4. The rowing machine handle is so uncomfortable, the second time I went I had blisters. There is rowing machine in TruFusion as well, which has a much comfortable handle. 5. The weighting room is always similar muscles, and similar exercises. Since there are short demo on the screens, some instructors does not demo through every exercise for the students. They assume you know how to do it….and which muscle to feel the work. 6. The cool down stretch is extremely poor. It is very very short, and Its random most of the time and not targeted to the muscle you exercised in the workout. This is extremely bad for beginners since they don’t know how to properly stretch. 7. You can only use the equipment during classes. 8. The instructors are there to be a timer… quite expensive one. 9. Since you run a lot, I do admit it is a lot of exercise. It’s good if you want to lose weight. But think more if you are there to build muscles. Not very useful.. 10. They also try to sell you a heartbeat tracking watch, which only works with Orangetheory, it’s around 100 dollars and I don’t see the difference between that and a normal fitness watch… Others: 1. They always have some addition promotions, the instructor advertise the addition activities end of every sessions. The annoying part is they have additional charge! 2. You are not allowed to cancel a lesson before 8 hours of the classes. But anytime with 8 hours they charge you additional money. 3. You might be accidentally late due to traffic, they charge you additional money if you are late for more than 5 mins and you cannot go to the classes. 4. The cancellation policy or late turn out is HORRIBLE: Some stuff at front desk are very understanding and they will not charge you if you have met unforeseen situations such as traffic or forgot gym clothes. Some are not. I once forgot to pack my gym clothes and only realized I forgot when I got to the lesson. The girl at the front desk wanted to charge me 20 dollars for that. And claimed that other people could age my spot. Well that class was not even full… she also told me that Orangetheory will only not charge me if I was in a car accident in the hospital…. 5. Ohhh what if you find out you didn’t like it after 1 week after sign up, congratulations, you have to stay on membership for your current month and your next month. I fr* had to continue 1.5 month after I realized this is not for me. I hate every single sessions I have been during the time.

1 star for non transparent pricing. If OTF replies with membership pricing or posts it literally anywhere, I will update the review. Please stop with anti-consumer practices. We can literally price out a new car and every conceivable fee and option to the penny online. The fitness industry is moving towards transparency, you should join. I encourage others to rate gyms on pricing transparency too. Edit - response to their response: That's not even an excuse, it's just a lie. You won't disclose prices over the phone either. There is no reasoning for that other than opaque pricing. Your dishonesty is exactly what I expect from the industry - I encourage you to do better.

Good environment, but really frustrating about the cancellation rules. I was told I can cancel any time when I join in the membership. But now I was told I have to inform the studio 30 DAYS before the next charge. I gave the notice 7 days before, no one start the process for me. So still need to pay extra 1 month.

Trainers are good but management is not. They charged me one month fees even when I sent all my medical documents regarding knee pain. When I asked them they kept telling Admin team charged your card and we can’t do anything. I suggest with everyone to check their policies before joining them as it is not most friendly. Their team including studio manager didn’t help me and answered my queries even when I went personally there.

Cancellation policy: How I was cheated. When I signed up I asked them several times about cancellation policy. They did mention it’s 1 month and so I told I will sign up today but I don’t want to be charged next month. They asked me to submit a cancellation form on the day I signed up, that way they will not charge for the 2nd month. Everything was fine until I went to double check about the cancellation few days before billing date. They said my cancellation will be in effect after 2nd month. Which was a shock to me as I took extra care and asked about cancellation policy several times. They made me talk to their manager and he was not of any help in this regard. He even told me there is no 1 month sign up. It’s a minimum of 2 months. I know i will be busy for the 2nd month and I couldn’t go to the classes and it’s very frustrating experience. Be aware of their cancellation policy guys.

Incredible fitness experience. Best part is that you just have to show up and rest is all taken care of. Resumed membership 6 months back and incredible studio team offers a warm welcome every time I goto studio with the goal of helping you be a better version of yourself. Been able to stay consistent over last several months and see a clear change in physique and overall mood.

This was my first time joining Orangetheory, and the studio, staff and coaches were amazing! It's not as crowded as the other studios in the city, so getting a spot in a class and having enough space to work out is never a problem! All of the trainers are nice, but I've especially loved taking Radhika's classes since she frequently corrects your form if you're ever doing something wrong. The studio manager Elaine and also the staff (Peter is one who knows almost everyone by name!) are all super nice and accommodating !! Though I've moved to Seattle, so will not be able to workout in this studio anymore, I would highly recommend this to anyone planning on joining Orangetheory in the Bel-Red area! 😃

Easily my favorite gym I've lifted at. It's extremely affordable, the equipment is in great shape, there's pretty much always a squat rack available, and there is an incredible sense of community.

Worst fitness with untransparent policy. They try to let you pay as much as them can. When you want to freeze your account and talk about it in person, nobody will notify you that you will be charged an additionally $20 each month, until you find this expense appears on your bank statement by yourself. Also, when you want to cancel this membership, you have to give them a 30-days notice in advance, and you will still be charged for one month membership fee… Won’t recommend this fitness to anyone else!!!!!

I had a membership about a year ago. Multiple coaches encouraged me to go beyond my fitness (and safety) level. I figured in the end they’re trained to push you, but I typically do better with a gradual build up. Just not for me.

Great place to get out of your head and just work any life/work stress that you have from the day/week. The staff is friendly and encouraging and the workout equipment is clean.

The workout is never boring, always effective, and always delivers results. The coaches are very helpful, and the culture among the members of OT Bel-Red is incredible.

Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) is one of the best fitness center for HIIT work out. The front desk staffs and coaches are friendly and the coaches take a personal care and correct the form and posture during workout to avoid injuries. The environment and the way the class is designed will give you the motivation to push yourself harder. I will rate this place as 5put of 5

The coaches, front desk staff, and members are some of the nicest, most awesome people in the world. One of the best parts of my day. If you’re in doubt, just try it. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I'm one month in this and I feel amazing when I leave any location of Orange Theory. Every location is so well thought out. I appreciate the effort this company motto, every human gives! Let's all go for more life! Thank you for pushing through these trying times and remaining Orange Theory! My favorite line was picked up from coach Skylar, he says "you are in here for just one minute of the day" really makes you think and push!

OTF Bel-Red is absolutely incredible. I've been going here for over a month now and I've loved every class I've attended. Staff is incredibly professional, welcoming, and friendly. They are always willing to answer any questions and really make it a positive experience. It's been so great to build a community at OTF Bel-Red that allows me to have fun and workout at the same time! And every workout is so different and unique. The new management and entire staff really make this place worth it. They are what makes me want to come back every day. I cannot say enough good things about this OTF location. If you're looking for a sign to start at OrangeTheory, here it is! See you at the next class :)

This gym has very well trained and professional coaches. I've been coming here for about five weeks and my expectations have been exceeded.

Unprofessional management. Non transparent policy, will find you worst reasons to charge you. They don't cater their workouts to someone with an injury. Still charge you when your account is under a freeze for medical purposes and blame you for it. Don't let you use the classes that you have already paid for. Worst customer experience ever! Beware of them, they are here to loot you.

😐 24 hour fitness, this is not… Hours are limited and NOT 24 hours a day. Thus, the gym is overcrowded, machines are taken (if not inoperable/broken), and it smells musky. Expect to wait if you’re doing any kind of workout other than cardio, ESPECIALLY if it’s leg day. I always find myself standing ar...

👍👍 Great old school gym with plenty of squat racks. Definitely more of a powerlifting oriented gym than your standard commercial gym. Owner is really nice guy and you can't beat the price. On the smaller side, but it has everything you need and more for a great training session.
