What a treat! The food is phenomenal and at the right price. Authentic Chinese cuisine right at the heart of the Peninsula. This restaurant is definitely not your Americanized Chinese food. We're talking about a proper authentic meal at a somewhat rundown place which just adds to the experience. Absolutely will return.

Best Dan Dan noodle I’ve ever had. Good kick and flavor. Sweet and sour pork was good too. Good portions. They forgot the green bean order, but I’m glad they did since it was enough food for 2. The servers are very kind too. Will be back when in town!

I recently celebrated a special occasion at this Chinese restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations. The ambiance was enchanting, with soft lighting, beautiful Chinese artwork, and a serene atmosphere. It's the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. The service was outstanding. The staff was not only attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the dishes and even made adjustments to accommodate dietary restrictions. It was a personalized and thoughtful touch. Now, let's talk about the food – a true gastronomic journey. The sweet and sour pork was a revelation, the kung pao chicken had the perfect amount of heat, and the seafood dumplings were delicate pockets of deliciousness. The flavors were authentic and memorable. In summary, this Chinese restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance, service, and food all combine to create a culinary adventure that will leave you craving for more. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition.

I was visiting a friend in San Francisco, four of us had lunch just so before my flight back to Houston. Absolutely loved the food! The dry shrimp and boiled fish was deliciously warm and spicy, just the right heat you need especially on a chilly day. Customer service is great as well and we didn’t have to wait long for our food.

A nice Chinese restaurant in Redwood City downtown. We had veggie rolls and kung pao vegetables for lunch and both were flavorful, not too oily and yet tasty.

Had a lovely catering order here for a corporate event of 30 people and the food portions are fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. Some of the standouts include the sizzling lamb, green beans, spinach. The dumplings were great as well.

Best Veggie Chow Mein I’ve ever had. The flavor, the vegetable variety! Get the Hong Kong style crispy noodles. My fiancé got the General Tsao chicken. Loved it! You have to ask for chicken breast if you don’t want dark meat. Clean restaurant, very organized for COVID. Friendly staff! Thank you for a great meal!

Not as good as I remember. The orange chicken and general toas was 80% breading. The honey walnut prawns was just shrimp with cabbage. Panda Express would have been better and cheaper.

Really friendly hosts. Neat atmosphere. Open parking available nearby at Perry Street Lot. Wide selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. We ordered General Zhao's chicken and Taiwanese rice noodles. Both quantity and taste were really nice. The price was also decent. The total price for both the items with tax excluding tip came up to 27$. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for Chinese food in the Bay area. Can't vouch for how authentic Chinese it is though.

Traditional Sichuan/ human style food, restaurant is well decorated, and much more spacious inside than its front suggested. Dishes are good portion, hearty spicy; Human Beef is tender and flavorful; boiling spicy fish filets comes in a wooden bucket, cute and tasty. Ma Po tofu uses the traditional Sichuan pepper; a bit noisy, like most Chinese restaurants anyway. Definitely a good place for a family dinner.

The food was beyond excellent. I tried many dishes, and every single one was made with incredible quality. The dishes were not greasy, and yet they were packed with intense, wonderful flavors. The fried rice was fresh and lightly cooked with soy sauce and oil. It wasn't slick or too greasy. This is not your typical americanized chinese food restaurant--the chefs here know how each dish should be crafted. I have to recommend ordering the magic chili prawns. They are peeled, lightly battered shrimps in a medly of chilis that you can't find elsewhere. It was lemony, but not sour, and very balanced. The orange chicken, spicy eggplant, and szechaun lamb are honorable mentions.

The food is amazing! I have eaten here three time, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in RWC. Nothing can beat the great flavor and good price. I have tried Xin Jiang lamb, Satay beef, Mapo tofu, tofu beef from the lunch special menu. Mapo tofu has authentic Sichuan flavor, with the right amount of Sichuan pepper. 值得一试的餐厅, 味道很好, 价格实惠.

I used to like this place. A year ago however, I decided to get takeout right before closing, and when I got home to my surprise, the lemon chicken I ordered was falling apart and vey oily. It was smashed in different little pieces and the deep-fried portion had slid off and it was in clumps. It looked like it had been spooned out of leftovers. The chow mein was soggy. I had to throw the food out. So just recently, I decided to give it another try. I ordered takeout again and lo and behold, this time the general chicken, I ordered, was all smashed in a glutinous mess. Again, the coating was falling apart and the chicken was too. The chicken was dark and in slimy biits. I took a bite and was repulsed. I also ordered some vegetable chow mein and that too was soggy. Had to throw out the food as well. I will not be returning. On a more positive note, the person on the phone taking the order was friendly and.Professional.

The portion of food is satisfied but the taste of our orders are just ok. Beef noodle soup is fine, but definitely avoid seafood noodle soup. We didn't get a good response when we provided the feedback of food and charged tips. The interior is well decorated though.
