THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT. Mexican music in the back, restrooms always clean, grilled meat is insanely fragrant when you walk in. (2020, 2022, 2023 instances) Tell management to keep the people there, bc I genuinely haven’t had chipotle like this since I started in 2003 Not to mention RWC downtown is around it — give these workers 401k, PTO, and a downpayment on a house. First time back at Chipotle since 2013. I’m pleased with the vegetarian options. I got a bowl and the chips. It was sooooo good. The line was kind of slow, but there were only 3 people: one preparing the food orders, one cooking the food and one ringing up the customers. It would be nice if they had an extra person, but they did the best they could with who they had. Overall, I was pleased and will return.

Middle aged lady working there could not hear/understand what I was asking for, so I pointed towards it slightly above the food screen and she slapped my hand away… I’ve never seen or heard of a worker doing that before in my life, so imagine the shock. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again, there are other locations with better service..!

Do not go here. They give the least amount of meat out of any chipotle I’ve been to and they force you to pay extra for the normal amount. Spend your money elsewhere if you want a good meal.

this place is literally the worst chipotle ive ever been to, and ive been to ALOT. we got doordash, and the delivery was 45 minutes late. no biggie right? well we open our food, a burrito with chicken, guac, brown rice, sour cream and cheese and a quesadilla with chicken and white rice, sour cream and salsa on the side. the burrito had white rice instead of brown, no cheese or chicken, and only had a tiny amount of guac and sour cream at the bottom of the burrito, and the quesadilla had chicken and white rice and salsa on the side, but did not have sour cream. do not recommend getting food from here, unless you wanna waste your money.

I have never left a review before after years of ordering food. This was the most angry i’ve been in a while. I payed 27 dollars for a bowl to go. I got half a bowl worth of food. The avocado was brown and she gave me barely half a spoonful. The queso that I payed extra for was given 1/3 of a spoon to me. I found a hair in my food. So to sum it up, I threw away the food that cost me $27 and am never coming back. First time in my life I wanted to advise people not to go here.

Literally the worst Chipotle in the area for pickup--you can reliably wait ten extra minutes for your food. And of course parking is terrible.

Food is always good. Staff could use better training in dealing with customers. One gal in particular seems to always be in a bad mood.

Burrito bowl is amazing as usual. Taking out one star, as app says my order is ready for pickup. But they start working on it when you reach there.

This one and LOL toe and Menlo Park cannot make a burrito or taco or quesadilla couldn't get no tips. This please with them I went to three in one day to get what I wanted

I had their newer chicken al pastor on a burrito bowl. It was pretty good. Their service has impoved since a year ago when I stopped going to this location due to rude staff. The current staff was friendly and attentive.

Really good Mexican grill and friendly helpful employees. I had the chicken bowl with brown rice and black beans. Lots of standard toppings. The guacamole is extra but worth it. Its large and I saved half for later

I eat at chipotle at least every other day. This location has very friendly staff but very low food quality outside of peak hours. Meat is left out far too long and is frequently completely dry. The guac is left out all day to the point of total discoloration. Some staff give portions of meat as if it comes out of their paycheck, even when paying $5 extra for double steak. Really wish it was better as I eat here frequently.

food is ok but not great, the staff never seem happy to be there and don't listen very well when you ask for certain extras.

This is a decent location overall (and conveniently close to 2 investment properties in the area that I'll be selling soon!). While portion can be small at times, the staff is usually very friendly.

They packed my burrito till near bursting. Seemed like door dash gets priority over inside, but either way service was pretty quick.

Consistently mess up the wrapping of the burritos and always say that the coupons/rewards codes can't be accepted that day

I love the food, great Mexican food. They have burritos, tacos, bowls and quesadillas. For each you get to pick your toppings and meat (Chicken, Steak, Carnitas, Sofritas and more) each coming with a different price ranging from around $8-$10.

The staff do their best, but management critically understaffs this location. After 6pm, the short-seeming line will take about 20 minutes, and even longer for web orders.

Update: It is getting so much better nowadays! I am updating my review to five stars. Some days the sodium level is perfect, but most of the time the food is too salty. Please put less salt in the rice & meat.

Literally the most disgusting Chipotle ever. Burrito shell was so hard and chewy it couldn’t be eaten. The meat was supposed to be chicken, it was gray. Didn’t put sour cream or cheese on. I question the entire food safety eating here and getting sick.

Small portion size compared to other chipotles. pick ups times are often 10-20 minutes later than indicated on the app. Also didn’t get utensils or napkins on my last to go order. If you go to the other chipotle in San Mateo, you can see the difference in portion size and promptness is huge.

I will give them 2 stars because the girl that handed me my food was nice, however the portions are like a slap to the face. I feel duped. I ordered a salad on my app to-go, I get home and see that there are like 10 pieces of chopped lettuce, a few beans here and there, a few pieces of chicken. I felt robbed. **Update I just ordered a chicken burrito from here. This was the worst tasting burrito I have ever had. Well the rice was flavorless, what happened to that signature rice flavor chipotle had? The chicken was flavorless no flavor whatsoever, once again what happened to that signature flavor that the chipotle chicken is characterized by. The worst part was the beans, they were undercooked. I have been eating beans since I was a child and I know my beans ......these beans were hard. Well the 6 or 7 beans in the freaking thing. Not only that the amount of meat is like an insult. Seriously I don't like sounding like a Karen, but this is unacceptable. I guess they also skimp on the food if you order online. Total dissapointment!!!!!
