According to experts the ideal room temperature is around 18 degrees. This hotel advertises as having air conditioning but limits it to 22 degrees. Together with thick synthetic blankets it was impossible for me to sleep well. Woke up multiple time with soaking wet sheets. Also, very strange reception by a man refusing to speak any English. Why do I need to fill in forms when I booked through the website of the hotel itself? This hotel immediately felt unwelcome.

Modern hotel at the top of the hill in a wonderful old village. Staff friendly, superb view from the rooms, good restaurant. Room a little bit small. Very good place for a romantic stay.

A modern restaurant with great views of the area, like almost everywhere else in this small town. I recommend stop by and at least to drink coffee with dessert. Desserts are not particularly varied, but everything we tried was tasty. Good service. Especially you will be pleased to drink coffee on the veranda during the warm season. P.S. It was supposed to be a hotel close to the highway when I was driving from Luxembourg to Czech Republic, but now I wish I had booked more than just one night. Everything was just perfect- the location, the views, the surroundings, on-site restaurant, breakfast variety. And despite hosting a wedding on that night, I could not hear a thing in my room. Bed was very cosy, room was equipped with all essentials. Two things that could be better: air conditioning would not allow to cool the room down and the hairdryer was very slow. One thing this place could also have is an infinity pool with THAT view. Other than that - no complaints. Huge parking in front of the hotel, dog friendly environment, amazing sights, I will definitely come back!

Clean and great a la carte food at the restaurant. Rooms very small but very clean and modern. Breakfast service very overwhelmed and the same goes for the bar. Deal-breaker: the beautiful terrace closes at 10pm due to complaints from nearby neighbours. They shuffle everyone inside to the bar which is too small to accommodate everyone. There are two restaurants in walking distance (Greek and Italian) who allow you to stay on the terrace. The Italian has equal impressive views.

Service is when the guest feels at home. If you feel at home in a prison you might even like the prison guards.

Hotel with a view! We stayed 3 nights and even in the dark you could enjoy a view but during day time it was even better. Friendly staff, dinner was ok but also not special. Good choice of breakfast. The room was clean but One little minus point because it was pretty small. I had a big suitcase and no space where I could put it. They have a gym but a pretty small one but nevertheless you can work out a bit if needed. All in all a good hotel!

Super Service and beautiful view! Coffee and cake were delicious. We also have seen a couple of rooms, that have reasonable size and a very tasteful interior design.

Location is A+! They have a lot of rooms with great panorama views over the valley below Waldenburg. Restaurant, which is where breakfast is served too, has huge glass windows allowing for an unparalleled view, which makes Panoramahotel Waldenburg a great place to stay year-round. We had dinner there one night, which was really nice, while the breakfast was okay. They allow you to charge your EV for free if you stay there. Had the sauna and the fitness room to ourselves when we used them. Everything feels new because the whole hotel was newly built 5 years ago (the old hotel is still there, right next door).

The hotel is nice located at the hill, morning and sunset are exceptional. Areas to walk to the forest 🌳
