2023/11/03 Ampelmännchen is the East German version of the traffic light pedestrian sign. There are also many themed souvenir shops in Berlin. This is the store on the Unter den Linden tree. I heard that the little green men design in Taipei has also won many awards... You should consider a souvenir shop 😉

Relatively big ampelman shop near Brandenburg gate. It’s crowded but has good selection of items.

Good fun and unique to Germany. . As Brit in Germany I loved this store. It's just fun. The Ampelmann merchandise is such a delight for no apparent logical reason. . If it's good enough for the 'Hoff' it's good enough for me 😂

A rather unique store, I find it funny that a simple signage character is so well ingrained in German culture.

There is everything the Ampelmännchen lover needs here. From t-shirts to bouncers to key chains can be purchased on site. There is even a cooperation with Haribo. However, they are a bit more expensive than the standard gummy bears from the supermarket.

Customise engrave on the magnet or keychain is available here with small cost! Super cosy place! The staff are all super friendly. Stephanie who helps engrave our magnet also give us a sweet suprise note. Thanks a lot

Souvenirs are quite expensive in our opinion.

A very beautifully made and special store where you get exclusively products of the legendary Berliner Ampelmann. Here I stop from now on each of my Berlin trips. The prices are also totally ok. The store includes a piece of the Berlin Wall and many traffic lights from other countries. Super made. Must see and pass by.

The name of the shop does it justice. Literally everything has Ampelmann's face on it. From the little box of pencils to the absolute unit of a fully functioning traffic light post which you can buy for 500+ euro. I never actually bought any souvenir there but I realised there was a lady serving coffee in a little wheelcart. I ordered one, she took the longest time to prepare it (it was quite apparent the poor lass wasn't used to it) but I tell you what, the coffee ended up being delicious and it only costed 2€ which is weirdly cheap if you consider the shop's location.

The shop itself was nicely decorated and lot of Ampelman products though they can be rather expensive.

Great place! Ended up buying a shirt and some vegan gummies! The staff were really friendly, I don't know what her name was who was at the till but she had great customer service! Spoke to us in German and English since my wife doesn't speak German I normally have to translate. Thank you for your hospitality. Ich liebe Der Amplemann! 🚦😎

Good collection but wish they could have done customized magnets for us. They asked us to order and come back in 3-4 hrs.

Really cool shop with a great history about the symbol of Berlin. Love that they also have some LGBTQI+ friendly gift options. Also the staff is very nice and the items do change once in a while.

I`m from Israel. Was in Berlin 4 years ago, went to this shop and everything was good,nice souvenirs, coffee, polite and nice sellers. Yesterday however a seller was angry at me with no reason and passive agressive, I didn`t tell him anything wrong just wanted to pay for my cup and pick a bag for it. Had extremely unpleasant experience, dissapointed in this place. Won`t ever go there again.
