First
off,
I
need
to
clarify
that
it
was
probably
the
hottest
Sunday
in
October
on
record.
When
we
arrived
it
was
very
busy(4pm)
and
it
took
awhile
to
get
a
drink
at
the
bar.
I
can
totally
understand
being
short
staffed
as
no
one
would
have
staffed
up
for
a
full
pub
AND
garden
in
October,
that's
the
negative
bit.
Here's
the
good
bit,
great
selection
of
beers
and
wines.
We
didn't
really
look
at
the
menu,
as
all
we
had
on
our
minds
was
a
roast.
My
girlfriend
went
for
the
trio
of
roast(which
was
brilliant
for
me
as
she's
never
finished
a
roast
in
her
life!)
and
I
had
the
duo
of
beef
roast.
Both
were
exceptional
and
great
value
for
money.
High
quality
ingredients,
beautifully
presented
and
good
portion
sizes.
I
also
had
the
chocolate
bomb,
just
for
the
theatre
and
that
didn't
disappoint
either.
I
actually
felt
for
the
staff,
as
it
was
so
busy
and
hot,
must
have
been
a
hell
of
a
day.
Special
mention
to
Abbie
and
Scarlett
who
were
super
friendly
and
nice,
when
they
must
have
been
wanting
the
day
to
be
over
by
2PM.
Wouldn't
hesitate
to
recommend
the
Rambler's
Rest
to
anyone,
and
can't
wait
to
go
back
again.
