Despite the initial vicissitudes with the change of room, when I got a different room than the one I paid for, the overall impression is very good. The hotel has no reception and everything is automated. Breakfast is available in another of the hotels, so first thing in the morning with a warm-up on the ramparts and stairs. In the end, the solution with changing the room was perfectly fine.
Full automated check in. One should careful to bring the reservation number with him. I would at least expect better curtains in ground floor's room.
Not the best place to stay in Kronach specifically for the price. They have self-check-in service. So you just feed to have your reservation code in advance. They offer clean rooms with basic appliances. The breakfast is also available for extra money.
Got a very cheap price for staying Sunday to Tuesday. For that deal, the conditions are amazing. The room was big and comfortable. Beds were okay, everything very clean, spacious bathroom and a kitchen inside. Only detail is it only had a big pot. A small pan would make it much more convenient. Note that there is no receptionist, just via telephone, but everything was clearly explained via email and check in was fast and easy. We were very satisfied.

The room was very clean and cozy, and the feeling of comfort never left us for a moment. Overall, everything was super great. The location of the hotel was excellent: it was perfect for exploring the entire city, and all the main attractions were within walking distance. We also appreciated the parking and the good Wi-Fi. The only thing to note is the absence of a frying pan in the kitchen utensils. It would be wonderful if one could be added. But this is a minor detail compared to the overall impression. Everything was top-notch! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
At their price point, the hotel was fine. The breakfast in their partner hotel was very good indeed. Good enough for a one night stay.
