I would highly recommend David's Bridal to plus size brides. They have an excellent size range (up to a size 30) and they have samples that will actually fit you! I found my dream dress here and got so many compliments on it. The service was great and they stock so many beautiful dresses. There is so much choice and the dresses are more affordable than other boutiques I visited.

Lizzie made me feel so welcome straight away and has a lovely friendly energy about her. She is extremely helpful, patient and excellent at her job. She knows exactly how to help you find the perfect dress. I only had 5 weeks till my wedding day and she helped me pick the right one. I was cautious about my weight and how I would look but she made me feel at ease and gave me confidence again. Will definitely recommend her and the shop. Very relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to buy anything either. Had a great experience and it was all thanks to Lizzie.

Had a lovely time this evening at David’s bridal! Julie was fantastic 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It was all a very calm and straightforward experience. I really enjoyed choosing out the dresses and trying on different styles. Julie was on hand and a great help! She even chose out the dress I went for in the end- great taste Julie! She went over and above in finding the right veil and there was even a 10% discount added to my order. The dress I went for, I loved and just wanted a small adjustment to the front. Julie made sure that I was able to get this part of the dress adjusted and had the seamstress look at it too. Which put my mind at ease 💖 I didn’t think I’d be able to get a dress that would be made for me as my date is so close but Julie made sure that I would get it at least 2 months before the wedding so I was totally delighted about that! All in all, it was a great experience and Julie was fab- thanks again for a chilled bridal shopping experience! I highly recommend Davids Bridal and Julie for all things bridal x

Visited the store on Saturday to get an idea of what style wedding dress I would like and unexpectedly found the one! Katie was my stylist and did such a fantastic job, I can’t thank her enough. She made us feel welcomed and relaxed from the get go, I told her my maximum budget and she worked effortlessly to bring me the right dresses within that price range. I ended up finding the most stunning and unique dress I’d have never found had I not gone to David’s Bridal and had Katie’s help. She went above and beyond to give outstanding customer service and clearly deserves a big bonus at her annual review! :)

We had a great experience at David’s Bridal. Our wedding dress appointment was excellent. Carla really knows her job and the first dress she brought out was the one we ended up with(16 dresses and 2 further shops later)! She was so relaxed with us and even set aside the veil we had been looking at because she knew we were coming back for a second appointment and the veil had been discontinued in the week between our appointments. That was truly personal service. We had a problem with the veil afterwards and Claire really went above and beyond to help us with this. We’re very satisfied with the outcome. We can highly recommend David’s.

I had the most WONDERFUL visit to David's Bridal today. Thank you so much to Elizabeth for being the most wonderful consultant. I was very nervous for my first bridal appointment, as I thought nothing would look nice. The store has a huge selection of dresses and lots of different sizes. Elizabeth had brilliant ideas on what would suit me best, and was so kind. She made the whole experience simply wonderful. My bridesmaids and mum keep raving about how fantastic our experience was.

This place is the best!! I’ve had bad experiences with dress shopping before and so was really reluctant to try again, but so glad I did because Millie’s bridal was the most uplifting, positive & chill dress shop I’ve ever been to! I love the format of the place and how everyone has their own little changing room & mirror but it’s all in a big open space so you kind of feel more comfortable not being the only one trying a dress on - that’s how I felt anyways! On arrival I think there was an issue with the appointment timing, but they were very accommodating and if I remember correctly Abby helped me out. She was amazing and so kind, especially because of the the fact that she is usually on reception/admin and doesn’t do many try ons! Anyways ended up going with this stunning satin dress and got compliments on it all night. Thank you so much guys will definitely be returning for my next party! <3

I was visiting Glasgow for a couple of days and my future mother in law and I were lucky enough to get an appointment on the same day that we called. We were assisted by the lovely Julie and she made it an incredible experience from start to finish. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses and she made me feel so comfortable. I tried on lots of dresses but one stood out incredibly and was definitely the one. Although I did not end up buying the dress on the day, I will be back to get it soon! Absolutely first class service! I went to the Braehead store in Glasgow. Was made to feel so welcome by a lovely lass called Katie. She is my stylist and it honestly feels like I’ve known her for years!! Made my whole experience amazing and I cannot thank her enough. Fantastic attribute to the company. The dresses are all beautiful. Massive thanks to Katie for helping me choose my dress and being part of the planning for my special day.

I was feeling quite self conscious about my weight and how I would look but she made me feel at ease and gave me confidence again, and felt under no pressure to make a purchase, and even gave us an extra discount once my decision had been made. Julie was also brilliant with my niece who had a brilliant time playing dress up with the different tiaras and veils, and even managed to twisting my arm into buying one. Would definitely recommend both David’s and Julie to everyone. Everyone was so helpful and we all had a great experience

Had a wonderful experience in David’s Bridal today looking for dresses for my bridesmaids! Very professional and friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Carla was the member of staff that was tending to us, she was so helpful and kind. She was very informative and got everything perfect for us down to every little detail! The store has a huge selection of beautiful dresses in all varieties of colours and sizes which makes it very easy to find what you are looking for. Excellent prices for dresses also.

Absolutely delighted with the full experience at Davids bridal. Appointment system was simple, followed up by a confirmation email and call. Confirmed what I was looking. Arrival at store was very welcoming and was taken to view dresses and the store by Frances a who automatically knew I would be wearing trainers and would not be interested in lacey or sparkling dresses, but did say to try a wild card dress. Took my measurements, picked some dresses and then grabbed a black ribbon for the last gown as she just knew what I wanted. Got to ring the bell! And got our pic taken. Best part was that my toddler was welcomed. Came wait to go back with my daughter for her bridesmaid dress

I had a bridal appointment today with Julie and I can honestly say it was the best experience ever. I was made to feel so special. I genuinely went with no intention of buying a dress but fell in love with the first one I tried on. All the ladies are so lovely and go above and beyond to help. I would highly recommend David's Bridal, I had my first visit to find my wedding dress with my bridesmaids. Julie was my stylist and was fantastic. I was able to try on various styles and found a dress i loved! Julie and I both knew this was 'the one'. I had a second visit to show my mum, sisters and mother of the groom, again Julie was fantastic - nothing was too much hassle and was excited about me showing everyone 'the one' dress. We saved the best until last and it did not disappointment, everyone cried - that said it all. The service and how special you are made to feel was a great experience.
