Cafe Coffee shop Bakery Tea house Donut shop

😐 I really want to support this place as it is the only local coffee shop in our area, and don’t get me wrong the food and drinks are amazing, however, the service is unbelievably slow. Most of the time I am waiting for at least 30 minutes for coffee and a slice of avocado toast, and they are typicall... People often mention coffee, shop, service, drink, time, delicious, friendly, menu, Starbucks, good,

AWESOME experience. Great drinks - I got the S'mores, fiancee got the Snow Globe (Taro). Both drinks turned out fantastic! The shop itself was verynicely decorated and the staff was friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. Highly recommend!

Most of the time I am waiting for at least 30 minutes for coffee and a slice of avocado toast, and they are typically not busy when I am there. I’ve worked in coffee shops myself and don’t quite understand how it could take so long for them to get drinks out! It’s unfortunate because it is a very unique coffee shop with excellent food and drink but with how long the wait typically is I can’t really fit in getting something on my commute to work/school, so typically go to Starbucks instead.

This place has a fun spooky fun atmosphere. Perfect for Halloween time! I ordered the seasonal drink “Redrum.” Despite the spooky name is was absolutely delicious!

Wonderful place nice atmosphere great coffee and specialty sandwiches made by Zack. Sara and Zack are wonderful, Sara makes you want to come back again and again; and we have. Last but not least, you won't find a coffee shop decorated as unique and wonderful as this one. Did I say wonderful too many times? Too bad, live with it.

I absolutely love the decor and all around vibe and always prefer to support local. This was my second time coming in this week. First time no complaints, coffee was good and no issues with service. Went in again yesterday with two friends for afternoon coffee and baked goodies. Kylie took our order and I asked for my standard Caramel latte extra shot (iced) that I have consistently been drinking for the last 10 years. Drinks came out, I had a sip and mine was clearly missing the Caramel. Noted that it was correctly written on the side of the cup, but no big deal mistakes happen. It was not busy at 3PM on a Sunday so I quickly popped up to the counter to ask for another pump of Caramel. The other gal said sure no problem do you want the drizzle I said no just another pump. She grabbed the bottle to add another pump, but it was completely empty. That's when Kylie said I didn't charge her for the extra pumps. I said extra pumps, there isn't any Caramel to be tasted as is. Kylie rudely said there are already 3 pumps and I need to charge you. I said I don't taste a single pump never mind 3 pumps and I pointed out that the bottle is completely empty and Kylie proceeded to argue that my 3 pumps is why the bottle is now empty and then just stared me down while I stood there in complete disbelief that she was trying to double charge for something that wasn't correct in the first place. Since I was being refused what I had already paid for I then requested a refund on my drink and Kylie said it was not possible. I then suggested she take the extra pump out of the tip I left and Kylie just stared me down while saying I don't know what to tell you ma'am. The other gal returned with the bottle of Caramel, said no problem, added 3 pumps and that was the end of it. We walked straight out after intending to dine it and unfortunately Kylie's attitude and terrible customer service completely ruined the experience over a trivial mistake that took seconds to rectify and she will be the reason that we don't return. Took a sip of my iced Caramel latte and hey it tasted as it should. A quick scroll through the low reviews and Kylie's name appears a few times.

Love Potion #9 and avocado toast! 🤌🏻💋 Superstitions Java is amazing in their flavor of coffees, has a kid friendly menu, and cheaper than other coffee shops! This is my favorite coffee shop ever!

I was only doing a door dash order, so I didn't have any of their coffee, but they looked yummy and smelled yummy, and the person who ordered the coffees lived about 9 miles away, that quite a distance for not good coffee especially when there's a Starbucks on every corner. But the place and people working there are great! It's a super cute, well decorated place. Loved the vibe. I think if you're deciding on to go or not to this place, go for it! P.s. my friend has had a coffee and a frap from there, and she said it's a 10/10

Tried ordering posted menu items, but it is not available for a few weeks. Tried ordering other coffee as hot only available as frap. Most of the holiday menu is cold. I would like a warm drink when it's cold, not cold when cold. Left without ordering.

This is my wife's go to coffee place she loves it...I can't drink coffee so I'm going by her standards and she is super picky so it must be good... she says Starbucks don't hold a candle to this coffee joint...

This place is adorable! I recently moved to one of the neighbors nearby and love the idea of having such a cool spot to walk to and enjoy a delicious beverage. The people are extremely friendly and service was fast and efficient. Also the prices do not break the bank! 10/10

Nice establishment outdoor seating to enjoy the view, pet friendly major plus. We did the hot chocolates, with fancy marshmellos. Nice way to end walking the river walk.

I am huge on supporting local mom and pop shops vs big national companies. We need to support our communities and superstitions Java is by far the best coffee shop in lemon/golden valley! Friendly, upbeat, energetic and the atmosphere aligns perfectly with the staff. I went in there for the first time the other day and told the lady to surprise me with a drink and omg she made the most delicious creative drink that I’ve had in a long time. Iced Peach pie latte. I can’t wait to feature this coffee shop in my virtual local newsletter

Extremely watery Flat White. The ratio of milk to espresso was wrong and the milk was not creamy. There is no way you could do latte art with the milk i had in the flat white. The milk had no texture to it, not microfoam. No normal brew on so waited over 15 min for a simple press, and we were the first in line. Not sure how this place got such a high review but Starbucks makes better coffee, and i am no fan of Starbucks

I absolutely love this shop!! My favorite part Is all the little decoration everywhere, it’s so cute and I love to see the baristas having fun decorating everything with stickers, little drawings and other things!! Really gives the space personality and makes it stand out from other shops :) even the bathroom is cute and uniquely decorated! I recommend the peach pie chai!

After a long night up and down with a toddler sometimes a large cup of coffee is all you need. Look no farther than superstitions Java. The quirky environment with mixes of vintage and modern decor and perky baristas made an enjoyable stop in my morning. I ordered a large iced blackberry frost mocha which tasted very good. The syrup flavor was sweet but not overpowering, you could definitely taste the espresso. Nothing like a sugary Starbucks drink. Would recommend if you want to try a new coffee drink somewhere inviting and fun.

cute and delicious drinks, with tons of custom options. never been here without the friendliest service and fresh, hot coffee! whether you're here for a few hours studying, or trying to be in-and-out quick- this is THE coffee shop

We order from them ALL THE TIME and Doordash didn't bring something and they took ZERO responsibility. When I asked her what were our other options and that we are THIER client she said you don't have to be rude... to me the customer. So disappointing.

First time going this morning and LOVED it. Amazing dirty spice chai best I've had since Java jungle changed to whatever it is now. And the gluten free cini rolls are to die for.

Online menu only. Lavender London Fog was good! My daughter-in-law really likes it. Casual, quiet atmosphere with tables and couches. A little pricey.

Really interesting atmosphere, comfy seating, friendly service, & a tasty, reasonably priced peppermint mocha frappe. Was visiting from out of town & if in the area again will return. 😁👍

From the ambience to the customer service, Superstitions Java never disappoints! The barista angels are so friendly and helpful and they really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The owners are amazing—they always make sure the shop is running in tip-top condition, and they’re sensitive to the various dietary needs of their customers (thank you!), creating a menu that is not only inviting, but also ridiculously diverse and delicious. We’re so grateful to have such a gem here in the North Valleys!

I ordered through grub hub. I have wanted to try this place since they opened but live in sparks. I ordered the Death by Decaf and a parfait. Taten (sorry if I misspelled her name) personally called me to let me know that they were out of the parfaits at the moment and she refunded my money back. She went above and beyond and included some mini lemon cakes and mini cinnabons for free. Everything was delicious!! Absolutely will be ordering again and I appreciate the outstanding customer service!! Thank you! 👏👍🤗

This place is great! It has a nice vibe and the staff are friendly. The Ube latte... "Purple rain" is really good but needs to be just a little sweeter to help bring out the ube flavor. I added more brown sugar to it when I got home and that made it perfect. Ive been here a couple of times and just think it's a unique little cafe worth visiting!
