The food here is ALWAYS spot-on. If this was the review, I would be doing a disservice to the restaurant. Sideways Steve and his family have been putting some of Northern Nevada's BEST food on the table for well over 30 years. What's weird to me is there are still people in the area who've lived here for as long as the restaurant's been open and they've yet to set foot inside. The meal I ordered this time around was one of their signature omelets. My first instinct was to eat all of the crispy red potatoes but I knew if I filled up on those delicious carbs I wouldn't have much in the way of room for the rest of what I ordered. The cooks over here are masters of their craft. The food they make is incredible. I would be remiss if I didn't give love to the wait staff as well as the bartenders. This place is perfection, plain and simple. I will be back SOON. Thank you to Steve and the crew here for making every experience here incredible.

Only issue...it's a little cramped ! Other than that, what a wonderful place. It's been around FOREVER. The patio is fabulous in the summer! The food is OUTSTANDING! I had a turkey omelette...my daughter had a Mexican omelette...so amazing! I had Coffee cake as a side... unbelievable! Large serving, very tasty. Price was comparable. Server was very polite, attentive...

This fantastic place for food and to socialize. Only two and a half miles from GSR. The bloody Mary is delicious and the bacon bloody Mary is even more tasty. We had a specialty burger that had an egg on it and that was just out of this world. In addition we had a BLTA and that was fantastic as well. The patio is full flowers beautiful nice little setting.

We live in Tahoe, an hour away from Reno and go there occasionally to shop, Costco, Clothing, Gas, etc... We stumbled on PJ & Co when looking for a late breakfast one day. The appearance is a little off-putting. Looks like a bit of a dive. The folks inside could not be nicer! We were greeted immediately with a friendly welcome. The menu had lots of great choices. The service was super friendly and pretty fast. The food is delicious! We've been back twice now. Give this place a try!

Met a friend for our first time here at PJ & Company, and we were both very impressed overall. We specifically went to try their egg benedicts, but were just a little late, I wanna say that breakfast ended at 1 (Don't quote me though!) and we rolled in just after 2. Being pushed into the lunch group was just fine though, we both had 2 bloody marys, and we both had the burger with an egg on it, served with a sherried cream cheese sauce - it was my first time doing a burger with an egg on it but I smashed it down, and it was delicious! The french fries were giving me major in n out vibes, and they give you a lot! The building itself is... Comfy(?) for lack of a better choice of words. It reminded me of this little breakfast joint my parents would always take us for brunch in Nevada City. Just relaxed vibes all around, and I so appreciate that. Staff was friendly, and inviting, able to have a laugh with, and tolerated us after our drinks so that says a lot. XD Overall it was a great experience, not a single complaint. Can't wait to come back to try their breakfast!

A hidden local gem that I'll visit anytime I'm in Reno. Fantastic breakfast and brunch options for any appetite. Great cocktails. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. A smallish bustling atmosphere that is family friendly. Prices are very reasonable for food quality. Ample off street parking.

I ordered the veggie omlet and substituted the toast for Coffee cake. Well worth it especial to share with another person or two. Great and attentive service. Will definitely come back again for Sunday brunch real soon.

Such a fabulous experience! First, easy parking. (I’m definitely at the age that not only appreciates that but it also factors into to future decisions.) The menu is EXTENSIVE! I was having trouble deciding and then realized there was another whole menu with more choices…front and back! It helped that the weather was a perfect 75 degrees today but the patio was lovely. We sat and talked (and ate and drank) for a couple of hours. Shallice was our server and she was wonderful. She was prompt and attentive, answered our questions, and was quick with refills. She also paid enough attention to our conversation to realize it was my birthday and surprised us with a beautiful piece of coffee cake after our meal.

We're looking for a great little diner in Reno to frequent while I'm working my travel gig, and I think we found it!! The food was fantastic and plentiful! I got the No-town Philly on a sourdough roll. The service was terrific! Our server even signed me up for the rewards program there! Definitely a gem!!

The breakfast sandwich on a croissant roll was excellent. I love their potatoes as well. The French toast looked great. The red white and blue pancakes were well received, and there was plenty to go around. The restaurant was very busy with it being HAN weekend, but the service was great, and we did not have to wait long at all for our food. We will definitely be going back when we are in the area.

One of the best breakfast spots in town. Their coffee cake is delectable. They serve alcohol. It's good every time. I always find an excuse to come here.

Charming and the waitstaff are friendly and helpful. Excellent food. Large portions can make it difficult to finish your meal all in one go. Outdoor patio in good weather.

If you're looking for a unique breakfast spot, this is the place! I'm from out of town, so I wasn't expecting it to be this good. This place was originally a gas station that was renovated into a restaurant. My friend said this place has the best sausage. And he wasn't wrong. I was, sat down in a timely manner, and after my order was placed, it didn't take too long for my order to arrive. It came with 2 very dense pancakes, the best sausage I've ever had, and 2 eggs. The pancakes were really good, they were nice and soft, but they were really filling due to the density. When I tell you they have the best sausage, I'm not kidding. They give you this big piece of meat that almost looks like a burger patty, and it's so juicy and tender. The eggs were about what'd you expect for breakfast food. Overall, it was a great experience, the food was delicious, the service was good, and the environment was cool. I'd recommend coming!

Friendly, awesome spot, great food. Usually pretty busy so expect a 20 minute wait during peak times. A good friend of mine that passed always claimed this place has the best eggs benedict and I can confirm and always take my friends that are visiting here.

From 5 stars to 2 stars. I had one of worst breakfasts ever at this place today. It was once top notch. Started with burnt English muffins. Chicken fried steak was also burnt, potatoes were a day old if not 3 days old. Dining room was ice cold, avoid this place in the winter if you are temperature sensitive.

Waitress was great. Quick sitting. And fast service. Ordered eggs benedicts. The hollandaise sauce was a lil underwhelming but plenty of food, and everything else was great.

This very unassuming locals spot has really done it right with their traditional Eggs Benedict, with 3 eggs and the potatoes laced with bacon. I'm not upset that the ham isn't the traditional thickness. I do love that the give a copious amount of hollandaise sauce! All very delicious!!!

Great food! I got seated right away! The food took a little longer than I expected, but this was a Sunday afternoon, which is typically a busy time for them. Service was great regardless. 👍

First time visit to PJ, The best breakfast I have had in Reno so far! I love breakfast and I make it a mission to visit as many restaurants while I travel for work to find the best breakfast, so far PJ is awesome!!! Coffee is great, food is great, service is quick, menu has many options. I would have given 5 stars but waiter got snippy with my 15 year old daughter when we were not ready to order, my daughter is sensitive and almost started to cry, but I reminded her to not let other people let you down, other than that, PJ was great!

Overall great dining experience! Sweet welcome. We were seated right away. Party of 5 and we arrived at 1230pm. Very attentive servers and bus boys. Portion size are plentiful and delicious! Great value. Everyone ordered something different. Even the guests were friendly. Also, nice and clean bathrooms. Will definitely come back again soon to try something different.
