This was a very nice Veterinary practice! The Vet, Dr. Alexandra Moore, was attentive, kind, reassuring to me & my dog, who happens to be a very nervous patient! He was not nervous after the Vet was done with his exam! He was happy 😊 & got a clean bill of health!! This is the first time in quite a while that he was not shaking & nervous when we were leaving the Vet's office!! I really liked them & better than that, my dog liked them too!

Great staff. Very caring. Always wearing masks for health safety. Needed insulin injection syringes for my little dog when I ran out and could not find any without having to wait for order to arrive. Went out of their way to locate some for me till my order arrived. Appreciate Monte Vista staff and services very much

Dr. Moore and her entire staff are awesome! They really care about my senior dog. Dr. Moore doesn't rush you through your appointment. She allows enough time to answer all your questions and they are very thorough. The office is in a brand new building, bright, clean and beautiful. I switched from one of those "corporate" vets, and am so glad I did. Highly recommend!

We do like doctors at Monte Vista, but unfortunately most of the time your pet is treated by techs, who often show lack of care and negligence. Our dog came for scheduled bandages change in 3 days, and tech decided not to change one bandage on the leg - even through the bandage was old and dirty. After the bandage came off in 5 days, the leg had a big sore caused by the bandage. Now the dog is in the cone for the next week or two, the leg is shaved, and the sore looks terrible. It’s causing our dog a lot of pain and discomfort. All this could be easily avoided if the tech would do the job, and charge bandages on time.

I searched far and wide to find a good Vet for my numerous sporting dogs. I drive 90 minutes each way for appointments although obviously, there are Vets who are much closer to me. All of their staff: front office, Vet techs, and Veterinarians, are very professional and courteous and I am grateful that I finally found them.

We switched from another vet recently and I’m very happy we did. Everyone is super nice and reliable - they call you back when they say they’re going to, and follow-up to make sure everything is good. They also fixed an ongoing issue with my dog’s feet that none of his vets prior had done anything about. Our dog also did not come out of the appointment looking freaked out either, which was common with other places. Super happy, thank you ladies!!

A year after my precious dog has died they keep sending me texts to bring her in for vaccines! It is cruel, I have asked them to stop but they continue! They are insensitive and cruel! They constantly rip off the pain bandage! Stay away if you have a heart or feelings!

They caught what a very bad place didn't and didn't try to take advantage of me and did the most amazing life saving thing . This is the place you should take your furry family member. They saved my louies life today and I can't be more thankful to Monte Vista's doctors and staff. Everyone was super caring and walked me through my poor little guys surgery. They went to great lengths to care for my boy. I won't forget all you have done. Thank you from all of my heart ❤️

Dr. Moore and her staff are exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond! Her hospital is a treasure to the community. I recommend Monte Vista Animal Hospital to all of my friends and family. My cat is very afraid of most people and cries when I put him in a cat carrier. I told them this ahead of time and they actually had a room ready for him when I brought him in and were patient with him until he was more comfortable. Thank you again Monte Vista Animal Hospital!

The staff here is full of amazing caregivers. My dogs get the best care. The vets and their assistants are so caring and compassionate. They are a little higher priced but totally worth it. My cattle dogs are not nervous, nor do they hide under furniture like the previous place we used

Our first visit with puppy Zeus was so great! Dr Salgo treated our previous dog several years ago at her old practice and I was so thankful to find her at Monte Vista (thanks, google!). The office is very nice, almost spa like, and the staff is so nice. Reasonably priced as well. Thank you! This is silly but I love that their location is right off the highway and easy to access.

I just started taking my dog to Dr Salgo and the staff at Monte Vista and I am very happy. Their care and love of animals is very apparent. They explain all fees openly and give choices as needed. Amaya at the front desk is so sweet and efficient and was helpful when I couldn’t figure out my Apple Pay 😂

Such a great visit. Office was clean not too many hard sells on products vaccines not needed. I would recommend after out first visit.

We followed Dr. Sara Hogle to Monte Vista as she has cared for our rescue dogs for years. She is a compassionate, supportive doctor. The Monte Vista staff is friendly and the facility extremely clean. A+.

This place is fantastic! I recently brought my highly anxious older dog for a visit and they went out of their way to make him feel comfortable. Dr Moore took the time to actually talk with me and answer questions and for once at a vet visit I didn’t feel rushed or ignored. It felt like a VIP concierge experience and I didn’t feel like my dog was just a number. They even gave me an iPad to use to watch a live stream of the appointment so I felt like I never left his side! So cool! Dr Moore is highly knowledgeable and personable and explained everything very well so I could understand my options and how to best care for my dog. The vet assistant Jessie is a dog whisperer and my dog was completely comfortable in her arms by the end of the appointment. He usually shakes with anxiety anytime we are out somewhere new but by the end he was so happy he came back to the car and fell asleep on my lap while we talked- and that was after getting shots and having his ears cleaned! If you treat your animals like your kids then you really should give this place a call.

Absolute trash! Complete degenerate who is the CFO or GM. The accusation that I reversed a charge or am a computer hacker is nothing short of insanity. I had no idea of it until this conversation. My parents are surgeons. I have never heard someone yell at a client. My dad even helps people for free regardless of the matter or scenario. I did miss appointments so of course the burglars don’t want to lose a penny for 5 min of work. This woman’s priority was not letting me refill a prescription my dog needs at Walmart. That is ruthless. I hope one day someone does that to you when you need it. 0 stars. Get fired and learn to be kind. Terrible human.

Love the attention to detail and thoroughness of Dr. Moore. Super friendly and highly capable staff as well. I drove from Truckee to have Dr. Moore see my 5 cats after seeing rave reviews, and I am so glad I did!

First of all I will say that this animal hospital was reminiscent of the vet office where I grew up. Everyone is very friendly! They sincerely care about the animals they treat. I was asked a couple of times by the vet tech about whether or not I was ok with medications they were suggesting for my dog. They partner with you for your pet's health! This was our second visit and I am very impressed!

Monte Vista has a very nice facility and the vets and staff are very experienced, well trained, and caring. They have cared for our two dogs, including routine wellness visits and two major surgeries. Dr. Moore, the primary vet/owner is exceptional with specialized trading in canine and feline dental work. Prices seem very high, but probably justified because of the high overhead for a state of the art facility, superb tech staff, and a well stocked pharmacy.
