Went for the hot pots on Wednesday night and had an awesome time. In our group of four I was the only vegetarian, but it worked nice because they can split the pot so you can cook different things/do different broth. I loved it because it’s more of a novel dining experience and very much family style/social. Happy to see Reno is finally getting some more experience based dining. The spicy broth had a pretty solid kick to it and was very tasty. Overall we all had an amazing time and would definitely be back, and super want to do their tea time on Sundays!

Definitely the best dimsum I’ve had in town! We used to have to go all the way to sacramento for dimsum so I’m so glad they start doing dimsum here. The set high tea menu is actually kinda fun and comes with a nice variety of dimsum items. My favorite is probably the Siumai and the porridge that come with Chinese fried dough. The first time I ever had mimosa with dimsum but surely won’t be the last. Totally would recommend, we actually are coming back for hotpot later next week.

So delicious! I have always wanted to try Hot Pot, so I was thrilled to find out that there was a place in Reno serving it! Such a fun, unique experience. I went with my sister and we had a little bit of everything with our meal- all of which was incredible. We thought the spicy broth was exceptionally tasty! Our server was so kind and helpful, and the owner even came around to every table and thanked us for coming. I am so excited to come back to try the rest of the menu (and more hot pot :))

I got take out and service was quick. It might look simple- but the flavor is in the sauce. It made the meal a 10/10 for me. The chicken was juicy, the rice was soft and it all fused well. Loved the flavor and will return. This was chicken and I look forward to trying the pork.

One of the best places in town to entertain with friends. Owner Perapol is one of the most incredible person we have ever met, and his hot pot is amazing! Truly recommend this place!

Had the all you can eat split hot pot. It was a fun experience, different take on fondue. The staff are very kind and super helpful with any questions, great back story of the business too. Both the spicy and regular broth were okay, could use a little more flavor or salt? The veggies to cook in the broth were fresh but the choices were small in variety. The side dishes we ordered were very good, garlic fries and pot stickers. We ordered mochi at the end but it was like a mini cupcake infused with mochi? Wasn't impressed with it. Overall it was different and kind of neat but we probably won't go again.

I just had the best lunch at Rice Box Kitchen! The owner Perapol and his team are all so welcoming and friendly! I ordered the Khao Soi Fried Chicken, it was unbelievably good! Packed with flavor and quality ingredients. I am so happy to have found a new favorite lunch spot!

The best hot pot I've had. The owner was very welcoming and the food is great. The pot stickers were also delicious. Will definitely be coming back. Was too busy eating to get a decent shot of their presentation.

It’s cool that there is a hot pot place in Reno. Owner is a super friendly and cool guy. Overall the food experience didn’t live up to the hype. The broth was good but needed more salt or umami to have deep flavor. The vegetables were nice. Seafood selection was a little disappointing. Scallops were chewy and fishy not tender and flavorful like some of the better scallops I’ve had. We also didn’t get some of the appetizers we ordered (maybe they ran out). Overall I won’t come back. It could be a really cool experience if they focused a little more on the quality of the food.

The interior is definitely very cute and modern. Even though it’s our first time here, we could tell there were quite a couple of regulars in the restaurant. We liked what we have ordered overall. I really enjoyed the garlic sauce for the chicken rice I ordered. The only thing I like a bit less would definitely be the takeaway boxes they use even though we were dining in…

Everything was good, the rice was my favorite. I didn’t expect the green sauce to have a kick to it but it paired nicely with this.

This place has a great atmosphere and service. Only issue I had was that there were too many fried dim sum compared to steamed. Everything did taste great, and the lychee pineapple sangria was awesome!
