I was the only guest at this place. Friendly staff but I sensed a conflictive environment between staff members. Overpriced beer 8,000 pesos you can get in town for 2500 pesos. Rooms are over priced and charged in USD not sure why if we are in Colombia and currency is pesos. The owner Blake is a very nice person he just needs to have better ownership of the hotel. Food was great but they need to have a healthier menu options and also more activities so you are not that bored. Prepare to disconnect this is a remote but very beautiful.

Beautiful place with nice beach to ourselves. Very quiet; we could finally get a few good nights sleep! The host was wonderful, personable, helpful. The setting is lovely, the food great. Felt like we had been to a SPA. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Attractive, spacious room with enough storage space for the luggage. Large bathroom, with cold but good shower. A good breakfast is served. The location is nice and quiet with an almost private beach. The accommodation is run by a friendly hostess with two nice children and three lovely dogs.

Beautiful setting. We came to relax and the place gives you a meditation feel for sure. Great location, close to beach, eco friendly rooms. But very tough access and mediocre service.. Palomino is 1 hour away by taxi who did not know the place. We did not relax as much as expected due to barking dogs who are not trained and following you everywhere. Might be for good for some but not all. Service was mediocre, not offering water in 90 degree + temperature.or charging you for a refill of water bottle. a bit weird atmosphere for us, that made us feel bad asking for bare necessities such as water, another cup of coffee for breakfast (not offerered), towels, etc. The place has potential but needs to increase thinking of the customer

Perfect place to stay, can highly recommend it! Would anytime come back. You definitely feel at home here. The owners and staff are great and super friendly. They help you whenever they can. The location is perfect, and the hotel is 2 minute walking to the private beach.

An awesome slice of La Guajira. Situated on the beach and next to a bird sanctuary, the place is a must when on a trip to La Guajira and a great place to relax for a few days. The Canadian owner and his Colombian wife were great hosts and really made us feel at home. I look forward to getting back there soon! Thanks guys

Coccoloba Beach is the worst hotel I've ever heard in the cost line from Colombia. At first my son David was hired as chef by Blake, there were some conflicts between his staff members who involved David directly into this. Suddenly Blake changed his work terms as volunteer without considering David's opinion. In fact, CoccoLoba Beach Hotel explodes his staff members by more than 8 hours working for free and they don't even have well food. It needs to be closed sooner. We already demand it with the gobernment.
