Cakes are not that good: there’s a dryish baked layer, a bit of fruit, then a pile of cream or meringue. Eh — not for me. I heard a staff member complaining about having to work too hard after months off. I’ll do them a favor and not go back.

The cafe is amazing. A bit expensive but the food quality is good. The hot chocolate and Tarte are delicious. The staff could be a bit more motivated. Also, it took some time until somebody was visible to order. But they have a lot of vegan options. There are a lot of guests so you should book a table in advance!

The best Cafe in Husum, with a wide offer of hand made cakes. Excellent breakfasts/brunches, with hot drinks, artisanal cheeses, salamis, sausages, cold fish and fruit. You can also have lunch with simple but tasty warm and cold dishes, prepared with selected ingredients. In warm seasons it's possible to eat outside, in a small cozy garden in the back of the Cafe. The interiors, on two floors, have a warm and friendly atmosphere, ideal also for cold winter days. Highly recommended

Nice, old fashioned café in the pedestrianised centre of town. Coffees are alright, if quite expensive. 3,50€ for a mug of cappuccino. A large slice of tasty quiche is 7,95€

After we camp in Denmark we were headed towards Germany and decided to visit Husum. We visit because of the good review on Google. We were just looking for Coffee but then also ordered two slices of cake. The cakes were nice, just a lil too sweet for us. The place and ambiance is great, clean toilet and overall a stylish french style Caffe. Service were fine and the lady took us even with no reservation (it was crowded in the morning). Price for Coffee and warm beverages are fine but for the breakfast items it is rather on the middle/high price range. 👍

I visited the lovely Künstlercafé when I was in Husum in July this year . Wow ! What a special place .. I went back four times during my stay and enjoyed the most outstanding brunch presented to our table on platters to share . The coffee is excellent and the café has a French flavour. Martin, the owner and his lovely wife have a flair for great food, beautiful flowers ( done by Martin!) - presented beautifully and more importantly tasting delicious! Do not miss this place if you are in Husum! Check out their Facebook page for photos to confirm this recommendation. There is also a great selection of original art for sale displayed on the café walls and a lovely courtyard out the back for al fresco dining . Been here about ten times and love the place. It has a gallery upstairs and serves great café and kuchen, the best in town. Light snacks and tasty treats abound.

We love Husum and this is the best cafe in Husum! It is a lovely old building with a sunny garden to the rear. Excellent cakes and food, great wine and coffee and a warm welcoming service with a smile. Highly recommend.
