Wow,
Wow
and
Wow
!!!
I
was
last
at
Madeiras
sometime
pre
lockdown....
dark,
dirty
and
dingy.
Well
new
owner
Rory
has
outdone
himself,
made
some
amazing
decor
changes,
inside
and
outside
its
now
light,
colorful,
spacious
and
very
pleasant.
My
girlfriend
Emma,
suggested
we
try
Madeiras
out,
I
have
to
say
I
was
skeptical
after
my
last
visit.
I
was
pleasantly
surprised.
The
food
is
frankly
amazing.
We
started
with
the
Peri
peri
chicken
livers
to
share.
Mildly
hot,
with
a
spectacularly
tasty
creamy
sauce.
Well
presented
and
deliciously
mouthwatering.
The
manager
Justin
then
offered
us
complimentary
Jagermeisters
on
the
house,
these
were
beautifully
chilled
which
I
have
never
had
before
and
went
down
a
treat.
Next
we
opted
for
the
special
of
the
day
a
seafood
platter
for
one
at
R175
including
a
carafe
of
red
or
white
wine.
I
have
to
say
I
am
often
weary
of
speacials
and
was
definately
not
expecting
what
arrived
at
our
table.
Wow,
wow
and
wow
again,
what
arrived
was
a
gastronomical
surprise
and
an
enormous
serving
of
seafood
delight.
A
bowl
of
creamy
mussels

x
,
6
x
prawns,
calamari
strips,
calamari
tentickles,
a
portion
of
battered
hake
fish,
a
portion
of
chips
and
a
decent
serving
of
tartar
sauce.
It
was
all
mouthwateringly
delicious.
We
then
had
the
Amarula
creme
brulee
dessert.
This
was
well
presented
with
ice
cream
and
a
good
"cracking"
caramelized
top.
Also
delicious.
Thank
you
to
our
very
helpful
and
attentive
waitron
Chanté.
I
rate
this
place
9/10
and
well
worth
a
visit.
I
will
certainly
be
returning.
Thank
you
Madeiras
team
for
an
enjoyable
afternoon.
