It's a great place if you enjoy waiting. After 30 minutes at the table we still had no menu and no drinks. Eventually the drinks appeared. Gin Tonic with no ice. I went in looking for ice cubes, as it would be another 40 minutes waiting for those. An hour later the food arrived. I was afraid my salad would get warm. Now I've asked for a bill and 30 minutes later I'm still waiting. If you see a skeleton on a bench come and say hello to me, and check if the bill arrived.

They asked for a tip and insisted we would add it to the bill after two drinks and a sandwich. ?? Im sorry but thats just rude. The food was nice though, lots of vega options.

Awesome vegan options and very cozy location. Staff is incredibly friendly and you can feel these people love what they do! Highly recommended.

The service at the restaurant was really really bad. They were understaffed. One of the waiters was having a mental breakdown, drinks were getting served after food and some of the tables were piled up with dishes. They need to hire more staff, we left without having food there after waiting for some 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order. The food looked delicious though, maybe next time.

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Lokal. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Service Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Frühstücksplatten sind ansprechend angerichtet. Die Portionen vernünftig. Nur das Rührei ist etwas klein. Dafür aber lecker gewürzt 👍 Die Torten zwar selbst nicht probiert, sehen aber sehr gut gemacht aus. Toiletten sind sauber, im Keller. Fahrstuhl ist vorhanden.

Nettes Personal das sich sehr bemüht , sehr freundlich ist ! Bar und Getränke sind auch okay die Cocktails sind nicht wirklich ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ wert nicht schlecht aber auch nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen 3⭐️ Das Essen super 👍 sehr geschmackvoll Nachtisch nett aber na ja geschmacklich , da geht noch was .

Place with a beautiful interior, really nice atmosphere and good service. This place I can recommend for a drink! Food looked good, but could also taste better. It wasn't bad, but...

In general can't complain about food quality, but service could be better. We ordered 4 salads and soup. Soup with small salad arrived in around 15 minutes, other 3 dishes we have had to wait next half an hour. Unfortunately it wasn't the end of the visit bitterness. Waiter for some reason brought the burger. After small clarification and waiting for the next 10 min he finally brought the ordered salad. We declined coffee on the house because unfortunately we have had no more time.

Das Restaurant "Heimat" überzeugt durch sein gemütliches Ambiente schon beim Betreten des Restaurants. Die persönliche Begrüßung mittels eines Namensschildes auf dem Tisch fand ich sehr angenehm und einladend. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und beantwortet alle Fragen auf freundliche Weise. Das Essen, in meinem Fall ein Brunch mit der Freundin, überzeugte durch regionale Produkte und Qualität, Frische. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es leider für die Sauberkeit im Treppenhaus, durch das man zu den Toiletten nun mal gehen muss. Hier und in den Toiletten selber sollte man tatsächlich mehr auf Reinheit achten. Ansonsten top. Wir kehren hier gern wieder ein und empfehlen das Restaurant"Heimat" jedem der Wert auf Regionalität, Qualität und Gemütlichkeit legt .

Super nice and well looking restaurant that I can reccomend to visit in Lindau. Service attends you quickly and is nice. The ambient is very cozy and they have a terrace so you can enjoy the meals outside near the church. 🤙

Otstanding, very friendly young staff, came 5 min before kitchen ckosed, full menue available, had a buddha bowl, excelkent. Coming back any time Thx.

I strongly recomand this restaurant, very good food, nice atmosphere, and above all the waitress Anya was very friendly and very helpful. I rarely expirenced a service so good and professional. The dishes were the good amount. The taste was exactly how it's supposed to be. Smoothies were fabulous. The desert was great. Thank you! I will come back.

Food was ok. I had their vegan burger with fries. They could've seasoned the Pattie more and put some love into it. Not worth 13€. Nice Setup though and clean maintained toilets 👌... and friendly staff.

Good food and a kind and fast working staff. It was unfortunately noticeable that they were short on staff. We got excellent service nevertheless, 👍🏻

Very poor service from waitress, when asked by my friend whether the Burrata cheese was pasteurised, due to pregnancy, was told how it took her 10 minutes to ask and that she didn't know. We were told that we would read the menu. After she did ask the chef, rather than being happy, that said cheese was pasteurised so the pregnant person could eat it... her advice was in the future not to ask these questions as it inconvenienced the waitress by 10 minutes. Then, when we were served our meals, we waited and waited for cutlery until we asked for it. Nobody checked in that our meals were ok, and we had to wait a long time to pay. This put us all in such a bad mood for such bad service. We only asked a simple question in a very polite manner. This waitress should choose another industry. Food was ok, I wouldn't come back here.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, good food service. The only thing is to diversify the menu a little, especially desserts😜

I don’t know how I could miss this cozy restaurant for so long. Heimat offers wide variety of meals with also quite a few vegetarian but also non-vegetarian options. The monthly specials also included things like a chestnut soup and seasonal burgers. On Friday and Saturday evenings Heimat also offers a happy-hour for cocktails which were also very tasty! Given that the restaurant is very cozy - it even feels like a lounge in some areas - it’s hard not to start with a nice meal in the afternoon and then stay for the cocktails! Definitely a place I will visit again on future stays in the city! The only downside I could find was that the toilets weren’t clean and also partially damaged.

Beautiful place for a stop for coffee and cake. The apple cake was good enough. Service fast and very gentle by the waitress.
