Great value, huge and filling arepas! Everything is gluten free. Except of course the beer at the brewery 😉. Arepas were pretty tasty but the flavours were very similar.

Best food option for young families! Our son LOVES the food and the Carolicious team has always been so sweet to him. Since about 6mo he’s been hanging out in the big indoor area. In the summer there is the patio and the winter it’s the most spacious option. This team deserves all the love they get

Latina Google guide here. I grew up eating arepas, so naturally I was excited to try this place. Unfortunately, Carolicious fell short. Tequenos are great. The pabellón arepa lacks seasoning..just not what I hoped for. Service - please consider hiring one person to take orders. It took about 15 min to get arepas served. Arepas are simple & quick like burgers. Given that Boston has many options to eat Latin American food, I would skip this place.

Ridiculously tasty with great flavor and texture combination, between $7-$11 for a decent amount of food ($7 arepa won't fill you up). They have ample indoor and outdoor seating with bars next to it if you want to have a drink with it. Service is also pretty quick. I got the pabellon (national dish of Venezuela) chicken, which was pulled chicken with incredible flavor, black beans and fried plantains, both pairing really well with the chicken. Definitely recommend it strongly.

This amazing hole-in-the-wall has been one of the highlights of restaurants we have tried in the Cambridge, MA area; from their fun, savory handheld arepas to their hearty bowls. We heard about this restaurant by word of mouth, and I can see why. This restaurant is tucked away in a corner of the town and down an obscure road that no one would find. This unexpected hidden gem is well worth your time! We ordered the Pelua (spiced beef + cheese) and Pork + Pico de Gallo Arepas as well as the Pork Pabellon bowl. The Arepas were fantastic! The beef + cheese arepa satisfied those salty/meaty/cheesy cravings while the pork + pico de gallo was more refreshing. We loved both of them so much. For people who don’t know what an arepa is, it is like a taco sandwich (analogies won’t do this description justice, just try it). With either pork or beef sandwiched between a cornmeal “bun”, the arepa is a fantastic and fun dish that I think people will enjoy! The bowl was a surprisingly large amount of food for the price, certainly a great deal for all the ingredients included, and had all the same flavors as the arepas. While it was also excellent, we definitely preferred the arepas and will order more of them in the future. We loved the artistic and relaxed vibe of the courtyard and will certainly return in the future. It is an excellent place to visit with friends and family or on a date! This place is a hidden restaurant wonder and we highly recommend it!!

Absolutely incredible food. It was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on it for this long. I got the chicken arepa loaded up with the beans & cheese and also tried to beef arepa also loaded up. They were definitely tricky to eat but full of flavor in every bite. Definitely wish I could give higher than 5 stars because this food was incredible. Will be back soon to try everything else they have to offer on the menu !

This place is INSANE fire!!! It's so close to the climbing gym and we always go and absolutely gorge ourselves on arepas to pack some extra weight to pull up the wall to increase our strength! Sending routes after eating these golden arepas feels amazing, and I am truly impressed by the quality and fair prices of this fantastic counter-serve gem.

Delicious Venezuelan food at a good price. The food counter was a little difficult to find and some of our food took a while but otherwise this place is great. It's connected to a brewery as well so if you are interested in that it's 2 birds with one stone.

I was looking for some Venezuelan food, and I've always heard a lot of rave reviews about the arepas at Carolicious. But in general, while the fillings were great, I was a bit disappointed about the arepa itself. The arepas felt too small and felt thin and quite dry on the day I went. It felt dry and cracked on the outside, instead of crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There was a lot of filling which is nice, but there was not enough arepa to accommodate it. If I come back, I would probably prefer a bowl instead of an arepa. Pabellon (meat, black beans, plantains): classic combination and I always like how the sweetness of the plantains contrast with the richness of the meat and the beans. I tried the pork and the beef version, and while both were nice, I do prefer the beef which was reallly tender and even more flavorful. Reina pepiada (chicken, avocado, mayo): Chicken is nice, but it was quite mayo heavy, and could use more avocado flavor. Tequenos: I asked, but the workers there didn't even know what cheese they used. Dough tasted a bit similar to pillsbury crescent roll dough, so it's a bit sweet and had a bit of that kind of texture. I really liked the basil sauce it came with.

great food, prepared fast. The vegan option basically subs cheese for plantain, and it is excellent. indoor seating is utilitarian and cafeteria-style, but that fits, somehow. they're looking for a new location, last I heard.

Outstanding food. Went there twice. First time I had a chicken bowl and the second time chicken arepas. Can't say enough as to the quality of the arepa - just outstanding. The arepa is a filled corn pocket, which I would describe as a pita made from corn masa. It's an order up front and find a table to sit and eat. It is connected to the Aeronaught brewery, another plus!

I have celiac disease and love that I can get reliably delicious, cheap, safe food. I have eaten here at least a half dozen times over the last two years and have always enjoyed my food and never gotten sick. The hot sauce is a must.

Que rico!!! It’s so hard to find Venezuelan food, and Carolicious was amazing! We ordered arepas and tequeños and it brought me back to my childhood. We will definitely be back soon! 💛😋

Came here Sunday evening and I have to say I liked the atmosphere and service. The food can use a slight improvement, but pretty good overall. Arepa was a bit small and a little too thin. Tequenos were good, but 9 dollars a bit too small for me. Would come again on a date night as the brewery and live music was nice. Loved the hydration station with sparkling water and flavors.

All the -iciousness. We ordered the beef bowls and a mix of areas. The pabellon anything was fantastic. Juicy pork, definitely best consumed on site. Arrived with a minor, so they need a wristband as it is located within Aeronaut Brewing. No line on a Monday night, very fast service.

I really wanted to like this place because I saw the reviews and I love arepas. However, the arepas were small and the arepa shell itself did not taste fresh. The filling of the arepa was just okay. I had the Reina Pepeada which has the avocado, mayo and chicken filling. I was left dissatisfied for the $9.00 price tag.

Very yummy arepas that came out quick. Nothing crazy but definitely good. Would go back and would recommend. 1 star = never go back 2 star = would go if a friend wanted to 3 star = would go myself if it hit the particular craving i wanted. Average 4 star = good food. Acceptable or better service. Would go again and recommend 5 star = does what it does very well. Great all around. Would frequent
