Das Essen war okay aber ich habe schon oft viel besser indisch gegessen. Es hat nicht super frisch geschmeckt und war lieblos angerichtet.

Obwohl alle Tische besetzt sind ist der Service sehr aufmerksam, schnell und mit einem kleinen Witz dabei. Die Portionen sind so groß, dass nicht nur wir die Reste haben einpacken lassen sondern auch an den Nebentischen die "Restetüten" standen. Es war aber einfach zu lecker zum wegwerfen.

Love the place. The food is just great. Unfortunately the ones who suffer from lactose intolerance they don’t have too many options but what’s good is that they offer to reorient their menus to suite anyone who is suffering from that. The guy who’s servicing (who appears to be a the owner) is really easy going and funny. I highly recommend the restaurant as I would definitely come back again.

Im Fleischgericht waren ganze vier Stückchen Fleisch und das Veggie Gericht war so fad wie ich es noch nie bei einem indischen Restaurant erlebt habe. Minz- und Tamarindendip waren ziemlich flüssig und schmeckten verdünnt. Ich esse oft und gern indisch und probiere auch gern neue Restaurants aus. In diesem Fall bin ich leider extrem enttäuscht! Über Ambiente und Service kann ich nichts sagen, da das Essen geliefert wurde.

Die Soße war komplett süß und wässrig und der Reis trocken. Zudem war die Portionsgröße vom Reis sehr klein. Im Lokal selber war kein einziger Kunde an einem Donnerstag Abend um 20:00 Uhr. Da das Essen sehr schnell ankam, gehe ich davon aus, dass der Reis schon länger stehen gelassen worden war und nun nur aufgewärmt wurde. Sehr enttäuschend!

In Europe, there are a lot of Indian restaurants who serve halal food, but it's better to always ask first. So I made a call to this Ganesha Restaurant, and the person who took the call, was so rude. He was saying - Why did I ask? In his 20 years of restaurant business nobody asked for halal, a lot of turkish people came to his restaurant and ate. No one has asked him before. On the other side I was just surprised, I didn't figure out what the problem was with asking him whether they served Halal or Not. And all of his bla bla. All of a sudden he hung out on the phone. Thank God I have not been there in person, from a phone call I have impressed - how rude he is. So plz avoid this restaurant, in the end good behaviour means a lot even if your food is bad.

We were craving for some Indian food and after a bit of Google search we decided to visit Ganesha as it had some great reviews. We were glad we went there as the food was super tasty. We ordered chana masala, aloo kulcha and chicken biryani with freshly made raita and all the dishes were super yummy with hearty portions. The owner of the. restaurant was hosting all tables and was a joy to converse with. We would recommend this place for authentic Indian food in Cologne.

I went here twice over the course of two days and I would definitely enjoy coming back here for more if I would be back in Cologne. Very nice food full of flavour and attentive waiters. They offer a wide variety of different dishes, some of which I had (even) never heard of - although I have been eating Indian food pretty much everywhere. I would recommend making a reservation if you would like to eat here on Friday or Saturday evening.

We visited this restaurant last month around the Cologne Carnival. Despite the total chaotic environment, the restaurant was spot-on with its preparation and quality of food. We were welcomed with warm kindliness of Parampreet who ensured that the quality of food was good and as per our taste (we usually prefer spicy!!). One of the few restaurants which I would definitely visit again in my next trip to Germany.

I've waited for the food almost one hour since i ordered! There was a big table that got all the waiters attention. But still, waiting for so long is something that you need to tell the costumer before he orders.
