A beautiful place to sit or walk with an amazing surroundings.. there you can find the main cultural buildings in Karlsruhe: the State Museum of Natural History, Stephan church and the Badische Landbibliothek, and in the Christmas time the Christmas market will be there. Highly recommended for tourists.

Delightful Christmas market with local food and home-made goodies.

It's a perfect place to chill while you're in the city center. It's also very close to Ettlingen Tor Passage.

I enjoyed the christmas market here. It was not really crowded during my visit in 2022 and you can see santa claus riding his rocket sleigh here.

Its a very cozy place to chill. Sometimes events will be held here like Weinachtsmarkt, Folkloria(culture festival), etc.

While the square is beautiful and the Hagia Sophia heartwarming there's a lot of hobos slummin it with cheap vodka

Such a lovely Christmas market is there right now- it was my first ever Christmas market in Germany and I was really impressed. They even had Santa aka Weihnachtsmann come in via zip line. It was a nice experience. Plenty of vendors and Glühwein (mulled wine) available

A small nice area to take a break, right next to a shopping center and a museum

Pretty big and diverse collection with the nice addition of live animals inside. The only downside is that there is no English translation in any of the artifacts. Would recommend to visit though.
