We have been to this hotel a few times, this hotel chain allows dogs so we are able to go all together. The rooms have enough space for us to bring the bench (dog cage). There is enough parking space too. Behind the hotel is a park, so you can take your dog for a walk too. The hotel is not far from the towns Moers and Duisburg, so for days out it is pretty well located. So for small shopping trips definitely a great place to be. We will continue to come and stay here in future ✌🏾👍🏾

The hotel is located in a nice suburb and has ample parking. I would have given them 5 stars but unfortunately a few little issues need sorting. My shower drain was blocked, basin was leaking and mattress had see better days. Apart from that it’s very welcoming and friendly staff.

Hi! Finally got around to leaving a review. As if the bed had not been changed since the last guest (I added a photo), not only was the door banging all night, but the cleaning girl was shouting at her employees in the entire corridor from the very morning, and also burst into the room without knocking. Dear Van der Valk will teach his staff how to properly communicate with hotel residents! If no my business trip, I would have left the hotel the next day. Shame on you!

We had a birthday party in the restaurant and it surpassed our expectations. We were especially impressed by the kitchen, the food was delicious, creative, and even flexible based on the needs (vegan). Also all the small gestures were super lovely. Recommend!

Only short stop over night. Lovely hotel,great location . Park outside with the stream. Dog friendly which is bonus. Spacious rooms,only shame did not have a coffee/tea facilities in the room as I like my coffee in the morning and tea before bed 😅. Evening meal was good as well. Great service from Nicolai - thank you. Lovely sitting area around fire , cosy and modern. The only feedback we have is about the breakfast charges, we found it a little to expensive. In overall very nice hotel and worth visit again.

Booked via booking and paid online, i was not welcome, had to book a suite and pay again. I had to pay €300 for the suite and a deposit of 150 euros for the minibar what is completely EMPTY :D HAHA This is bad service at 1am.

Nice place to stay if travelling around NRW. Good food, service was exemplary. 24/7 check in was necessary, we estimated 9pm traffic problems it was 1:30 am when we arrived. Do read the signs around the restaurant, very useful. My thanks to the staff who helped us along our journey.

We recently visited from the U.S. since we have family in the area. Super convenient location right off the Interstate but very quiet. There is a park right across from the hotel so there was no traffic noise. Very friendly service. Great on-site restaurant with outdoor patio for dining. The breakfast was amazing! So many options. We are still talking about it. :) The only negative was that the shower was very small and the rooms did not have a/c. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

We visited the hotel with a combination ticket with the Alpin Center. Nice personel who helped very good. Unfortunately the tickets for alpin center were on paper and couldnt be send by email. Therefor we first needed to pick up the tickets and then need to drive half an hour to the alpin center. Not very practical. Our room was nice, my sisters room had a lot of mold in the bathroom. The rest of het public spaces of the hotel were very nice. Great breakfast, a lot to choose from. Would recommand the combi ticket, its not that expensive.

Far from Dusseldorf. Paid room service. No iron in the room. One water bottle for the entire stay even though u stay for five days. Amenities are good. Great garden. Beautiful old architecture of the hotel. Just need to improve service. At this price it's expensive in view of services they provide.

Smoking people at the main entrance of the hotel. Not a healthy welcome. Stinks

The hotel was decent, except for the sanitary. The furniture was beaten up pretty bad. TV signal was awful. The refrigerator was more like a heater than a cooler. But then again the price was alright for the room we got. The thing that made me the most happy was the fact that they used a Linux distro as operating system! That is awesome! For that they receive 5 stars!

Very good service, and also the restrooms are good. But my food was certainly overcooked and did not have much taste.

Stayed as base for a business trip. About 25 mins from Dusseldorf airport and easy to get to. Careful of taxis - you want the fixed rate rather than the meter. Clean and well managed, the rooms were excellent with a nice outdoor area for relaxing. The park next door is lovely for a walk. Breakfast and dinner were both really tasty, highly recommend!

Looks as nice hotel but service is below average for such a place. There was a garbage in the waste bin when I entered the room. WiFi has so week in the room that mobile phone does not even recognise it. Notebook does but is very slow so forget to work from the room. Food in the restaurant and service there was OK. Receptionist was slow and unfriendly. Well next time I will find another place.

Good entry to mid range Hotel if you're looking for a stay in the area. Super convenient location right next to the Autobahn.

I really like this hotel! I try to plan my route when I’m travelling this direction so I can stay here. Great standard for the price, large and comfortable rooms, good free parking, excellent breakfast!! I’ll be back!
