Don't be misled by their sweet Radler (beer with limonade), for their ad campaign isn't sweet at all. Last Saturday at 1 PM they promoted a marathon run in Trier, with a set of huge speakers so loud, that all nearby windows shook. People in neighboring houses were unable to talk or even call the police, due to the deafening noise that went on for hours. No consideration whatsoever in favor of the people who live here!! BITBURGER just used the noise to attract attention for their name. We all, that is a dozen families here in Trier, are traumatized by their event, and shall never ever drink their beer again.

Bitburger organized a run in Trier on Dec. 31st. The horrible noise was so loud that our baby got sick when we passed the main market (Hauptmarkt). We tried to escape into a side street but the level of noise was so unbearable, even for us adults, that our baby got traumatized. What kind of beer maker is this?

Tour is set up almost like museum explaining how beer is made plus some history, very well done. The tour guide took time to give us a little English explanation after her German spiel. She was accommodating to us. You can request an English tour with a minimum of 10 people, but you have to call to book. The best part is the drinks and pretzel afterwards in their very nice private bar. They also give you coupons for beer at restaurants around town.

Ticket price something around 8 euros (i think) and you get a guided tour, a beer tasting with a pretzel, 2 beers of your own choice AND 3 beer-coupons for places around town. Great deal right?!

Fancy place with tasty beers :) Staff is helpful and speaks english, but the tour is available only in german language :(

Es war einfach nur Klasse. Wir hatten eine sehr nette Dame mit viel Humor die die Führung machte. Und zum Schluss noch 2 gepflegte Bit.

Das Bitburger BOCK ist garnicht übel. Ich trinke es gern. Die grüne Farbe des wackeren Tieres ist grauslig, aber nach der zweiten Flasche gewöhnt man sich daran.
