The Forum Mittelrhein is a shopping center in the center of Koblenz that opened in 2012 as part of the redesign of the central square. Its construction - like the redesign of the square itself - was highly controversial in the city even before it was actually planned. It was generally doubted that another shopping center would be needed next to the Löhrcenter. There were also fears that small retailers would be pushed out and further vacancies would arise in the city's shopping streets. Unfortunately, the fears have at least partially been fulfilled. So around 10% of the shops in the forum are currently empty. Two important shops, Decathlon and Douglas, have recently closed. In the Middle Rhine Forum, for example: Currently there is only one real anchor shop left at home: Saturn. Otherwise, there is a range of clothing stores aimed more at a young audience (H&M, New Yorker, Jack & Jones, Yeanshalle, G-Star Raw). In addition to a Vapiano branch, Starbucks, an ice cream parlor and two bakery branches, the gastronomic offering includes a self-service fast food area on the upper floor. In contrast to the Löhrcenter, the Forum Mittelrhein is not suitable for weekly shopping.

A lot of vacancy. A lot of junk. Overall, it surprises me how a city like Koblenz wants to run such shops next to the other center in the city, which is more of a car city. The center is actually modern, but when every third shop can be seen with taped windows, it's a bit sad.

Ein Einkaufzentrum wie andere auch. Grund der Bewertung: Die Bezahlung der Parkzeit kann nur bargeldlos erfolgen, dies führte zu Wartezeiten an den Kassenautomaten. In meinem Fall zu einer Stunde zusätzlich zu zahlen. Ich sehe die Vorteile für den Betreiber, aber kundenfreundlich ist das nicht.

70 cents for peeing and 2.80 euros for 70 minutes of parking. And then you wonder why fewer and fewer people come to the city to shop and why one store after another has to go out of business.

A very nice shopping centre. Plenty of variety of shops, it has a few eateries and supermarket's as well. Worth a visit for the western visitor.

Sehr gutes Einkaufszentrum!! Alles am Start was man für das tägliche Leben braucht, das einzige das fehlt ist ein Supermarkt!! Meine Lieblingsläden im Forum sind GameStop, Saturn und New Yorker!! Die anderen Angebote muss ich erst noch erkunden um mehr darüber sagen zu können. Fortsetzung folgt....

A good place in the city center, if you have luggage they have a locker in the first floor for free.

Clean, a bit smaller than American malls. The staff were friendly in stores we went to. The outside was pleasant and had a play area for kids. I enjoyed the architectural design.

Calm in summer and very sociable with very few people around. Also has a good background for taking pictures with lovely buildings of good architectural art

Großes Einkaufzentrum in Köln,so wie alle, man findet sehr viele Geschäften drinnen, kann man auch Essen, gibt es auch Friseurladen falls man braucht. Und es ist toll wenn draußen so kalt ist, ist es da sehr angenehm mit der Klimaanlage.

Very good stores with affordable prices

Very, very well attended on the weekends, pleasant during the week. Upper floor has a food court, otherwise many different shops on 3 levels. I like to park here, there are lots of parking spaces and not so tight, and it's also great with license plate recognition at the entrance, there are usually queues when paying at the machines.

You can still eat in the forum until 8 p.m. There are a variety of providers. There are plenty of opportunities to sit at the window front too...

At first it was always nice here, but now every second shop is empty, the parking garage is so-so, the parking garage app hasn't worked for years, and the corresponding machines are unfortunately in short supply... There's nothing left to really attract you. A pity

Many different shops. Very clean. The new parking system is great! No more drawing cards. When you drive in, the license plate is photographed. Before you drive out, simply enter the license plate at the counter, pay and you're done.

Very nice and good, the toilet is clean and everything is fine but only several shops do it, for example Decatlon

If you’re in Koblenz for a short time, I recommend checking the forum out. We had delicious Indian food in the Forum. Went through most shops to find shoes and stumbled on a toy shop where we bought a dinosaur (rex) 🦖 build in bricks 🧱 . There was also nice coffee at one of the entrances.

Das Einkaufszentrum ist soweit ok, ich persönlich brauche solche Konsumtempel eher nicht. Das Parksystem nervt und dauert viel zu lange. Auch finde ich es unmöglich, dass man die Parkgebühr nur mit Karte zahlen kann. Mein Fazit: Einmal und nie wieder

Alles was man braucht, aber eben leider auch nix besonderes. Definitiv ein solides Einkaufszentrum.

Tolles zentral gelegenes Kaufhaus mit Parkhaus. Es gibt verschiedene Bekleidungsgeschäfte, DM, Schmuck, Friseur, Nagelstudios und einen Restaurantbereich mit günstigen Preisen.

I love Koblenz have have stayed in Koblenz many times this center is OK a little on the up market side but is worth a look I still have issues with paying for the toilets but that's everywhere in Germany not jut here There is a pop up mobile shop there that has a great range it's the only store I was able to Bua cover for my mobile the girl who served me there was polite and helpful and went out of her way to find a cover that fitted my mobile even when it was not made for my mobile yet was perfect 👍

One of the nicer malls. Nice and clean with a good food court and most shops, you might need centrally placed in the 💓 of Koblenz.

Really nice place for shopping. Parking is expensive though . If you park outside the center , cross a bridge you can have some sightseeing 😉. But perfect place to start . Bubble tea food court and all the shops you need

Don't park there, if you want to leave after 21.30. You cannot leave the parking before the next morning. They are not willing to send somebody when you call them, when several tourist (we were not the only one) wants to get their car back. You have to find another solution when you are not staying in Koblenz for the night. In our case a taxi to the village outside Koblenz and the next morning go back by taxi to pick up our car. The garage is NOT open 24/7

Nice shopping mall here you can spend your free family time

It is a mall, not much to say about it. Parking was expensive although very easy to find and close to oldtown Koblenz

Großes Einkaufscenter mit vielen Geschäften. Kommen immer wieder neue dazu, dafür schließen andere. Ist in der heutigen Zeit wohl normal. Sehr sauber und gepflegt, und das "The Power of Love" als Musik lief hat irgendwie gepasst. Parkmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend vorhanden.

Good shopping mall with famous stores

A standard mall in the city center where you can shop, eat, drink or just hang out. Good options both for shopping and eating. Many of the eateries in the food court also offer student discounts. It costs 70 cents to use the toilet here.

Leider nur 1 Stern, wurden beim Essen aggressiv auf Pfandflasche angesprochen obwohl jeder Dumme hätte sehen können das wir nicht fertig waren. Das ganze 4x während einer Mahlzeit! Bitte dringend abstellen, andere Gäste waren auch sichtlich genervt durch die aggressive Weise. Sollte beim nächsten Besuch es besser sein gerne mehr Sterne
