This place used be clean and properly taken care of. Nope not anymore. So glad I pay $1.5k a month to live in a trash hole. They don’t seem to take cleanup as a priority as our trash pick up hasn’t been taken care of in months now & there’s trash on the ground throughout the complex. What are you guys doing exactly with my money? Also, don’t bother calling the front office. They are never helpful. Even if they reply to my review… not calling them. They’re just going to give a halfhearted reply with no solutions. They know it & everyone who lives here knows it. Don’t play. If you want to do something for the community then you need to be reducing our rent starting ASAP.

Absolutely the worst place to live! Management will sell you any old thing and won’t even properly prepare your unit prior to you moving in! There is roaches everywhere and bugs crawling out of every corner! These roaches are playing peek a boo with me, and the best advice the maintenance crew here gave me was to keep my lights on! You would expect them to do a proper clean, have pest control come in, eliminates foul orders from previous resident, replace carpets that with dark brown spots, and FIX RUSTED/MOLDED APPLIANCE! BUT THEY DON’T. They rather fix and tape stuff up rather than buying new appliances that would be more welcoming FOR THERE NEW RESIDENT! Management DOESN'T CARE, they will tell you anything to get you to stop bugging them! They are rude and disrespectful, they tried to kick my father out of the office because he was expressing his concerns of the living conditions within this apartment. I moved into this apartment and haven’t been able to live in here for the entire time due to the unlivable conditions of this apartment. I personally (as a resident), deep cleaned, painted walls, and assisted with the fixing of my apartment. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS! I moved from Colorado to work at SC State to get a “move in ready apartment” that turns out to be an ultimate disaster. With this being a business ran by predominantly black women within the on-site front office, I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, That this is how y’all represent the production of a “business”!! To top it off! On my move in day, the management team for this apartment complex in Columbia, South Carolina. Gave me the wrong key! And luckily the maintenance guy turned around and gave me a key or else I would have noooo way to lock my apartment! The apartments are not handicap accessible and there’s not access for individuals with disabilities. If you need apartments, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE! Even if it last apartment in the city of Columbia! This is a living nightmare, that I have yet to wake up from!

I lived here 2018-2019 when first communities was property management. This was a great place to live then, friendly and helpful office staff, helpful maintenance team, clean community and no issues overall. I moved back to St. Andrews Commons in May 2021 and my experience was completely different. The apartment is under different property management (Morgan Properties) and it shows. The maintenance requests took longer to complete and lack of notification regarding what was completed, office team and manager aren’t friendly however make you feel as if you’re a burden, when things are brought to their attention. The community looks a bit ran down now, patio furniture is everywhere and looks unsightly. The dumpster at front of community is always gross and overflowing. The gate has not worked since I moved in. The apartments are sooo old and no updates aside from new windows. At night i often hear gunshots but not sure if it’s from this community or a neighboring community. Also on the renewal lease there is a $60/65 amenities fee which is ridiculous. The only plus to this apartment is location and a decent gym. I personally would not recommend this apartment complex to a friend.

For months now I’ve been trying to get my duct work in my apartment fixed. Management said “we have rodents on the property and they can’t come out to fix the duct work until they get an exterminator out to treat the property.” Well that was in June and I’ve been in the apartment all summer with no proper cooling in either one of my bedrooms. Management gave me a window unit for one bedroom, which cause an increase in my light bill because I’m running two air conditioners to cool my apartment. In the master bedroom I have to sleep with fans because it’s always around 80 degrees in the room. This company doesn’t care about its tenants and they employ leasing agents and managers that don’t care either. My duct work is still not fixed and my light bill has increased approximately $60 each month. Think long and hard before applying here. I encourage everyone to read the reviews. If you choose to move here please document any communication and repair request. You may need them for legal action against the company. Worse place ever. Several thing you can count on while living here are constant lies from management, roaches, and large trash piles by the entrance. Oh and you can throw privacy out the window. I've had maintenance just walk on in my apartment, no knocking, no announcement, just walked on in.

I’m embarrassed to say I live here. The trash is always piling up and going in the street and I’m driving over it. That is disgusting and causes roaches. My dishwasher has been broken for two months each time I call I’m given excuses. I pay a lot of money to live here and for what? I am leaving when my lease is up and I don’t care if I have to pay $2000 a month I’m going to live somewhere without roaches without garbage in the street and with proper working utilities.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Whatever you do DO NOT move to St. Andrews. They will show you a really nice renovated one to get you to move in. The apartments and the community is nothing but trashy. The office people are extremely rude and care nothing about you. The maintenance is even worse. They even lie when maintenance requests has been completed. You will think you’re paying one price but you will pay a lot more per month. You will be paying for pest control when they do not provide it. I deep cleaned my apartment so many times and still had roaches and bugs everywhere. They will also let the trash build up until there are mountains of trash on the ground. This place should be ashamed and embarrassed on how they take care of the property and their residents.

Yall i definitely recommend !!! I was working with Ms Domonique months before i moved in and she had patience with me i called everyday for different things and she helped the best way she could and kept honest with me about everything *i would’ve been tired of me calling * but she wasn’t lol ,, her customer service skills is definitely where they need to be !! I would recommend her any day
