    purchased a Nixon couch from Urban Barn in Etobicoke. Received March 1st, and your product catastrophically broke on its first use; the frame broke in half. If you stood by your products you would have rectified this immediately. Instead you have been giving me the run around for 2 weeks. Now your customer service rep wants me to pay for the pick up of a broken couch, to the tune of a few hundred dollars?! For over $4500 I thought I would get high quality couch, but apparently your quality control isn't the best, but if your company sells products at that price you would think they would want to rectify any issues like this quickly. Unfortunately their customer service does not agree, so I am forced to share my story anywhere I can so that the same fate doesn't befall others. If I could give it zero star, I would but it isn't an option on Google Reviews. Do not shop here or you’ll regret it.

    I love Urban Barn. There are many locations. I like this one best because there is tons of parking and the store is quite large. I also love the Etobicoke location. There are professional designers onsite to help.

    While Urban Barn generally has nice furniture, I feel I have been lied to by Urban Barn's advertising. I was looking forward to getting a specific couch, when I noticed that it went on sale on Black Friday. Upon visiting the store, the same couch on display had a Black Friday discount tag confirming my observation online. However, during the last step of purchasing, I was notified that, on the contrary, no such sale applies to the couch I wanted as it was apparently not available in any warehouse. This was very misleading and very disappointing and will definitely negatively impact my relationship with Urban Barn moving forward.

    We received amazing service on Saturday at this location from (I believe) Julie. Super helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our experience and she was particularly kind with our one year old! Thanks again!

    I visited the store this morning for a pickup. Stood at the counter while the lady with glasses just typed away on the computer. She never acknowledged me until the other associate finished with her customer and asked me how she could help me. Just don’t understand what has happened to customer service.

    Urban Barn is one of my favourite stores for home accents. Yes, it can be pricey but it's good quality merchandise. My suggestion is just to keep an eye out for when items go on sale because you can get really good deals.

    Fraudulent business practices Ordered several small decor items online. UB never sent me the shipping notice or tracking information when they were sent out. Package ends up getting returned to sender. When I inquired with customer service about where TF my package was, they finally provided tracking information that showed it had already been received back in their warehouse as returned to sender! What?? I requested a refund, but was told they have to confirm the package is in the warehouse (even though the tracking information SHOWS it was returned). Then I'm advised that in order to process the refund I would have to give them my card number again. Either by providing my card information to someone over the phone or in an unsecured chat. What?? That is absolutely NOT standard practice in ecommerce at all. Every other business goes into the online transaction and reverses the payment. It's simple. But this process is also not outlined in their return policy either. Allegedly, my only other option is a gift card (uh, no thanks!! I'm not spending any money here again!) or a cheque.... A CHEQUE. Which will take 2-3 weeks to process. Have I been teleported to 1985? What is going on?? My goodness. What an absolutely atrocious experience. I am not at all confident I'll actually receive my refund. I plan to submit a charge back on my card if it's not in hand within 30 days. My advice? RUN, don't walk, away from this company.

    The staff in the store were all very helpful. Shout out to Fey who answered all of our questions and concerns! The store is very clean and neat. It was a busy Sunday, but they still managed in a orderly fashion 😊

    My wife and I were really pleased with the whole shopping experience at Urban Barn in Etobicoke and in addition to having an interesting and well built product offering the staff was a pleasure to deal with from Jade initially to Julie and Hilary and all the rest of the team. Further, the selection really helped us transition from the heavier larger Ethan Allen and Arte Shoppe to a more contemporary look more suited to our condo apartment rather than the large suburban house. As a former business owner I value how important customer focus is and your team on North Queen is definitely above average. They enjoy working together and helping clients. I do not generally give a 5 star review but am delighted to do so for this Urban Barn store. Great job. Claude Bagley

    Exceptional attention to customer experience by the the lead associate, Julie C. The minute I walked in I was greeted and acknowledged with a sense of ease and comfort (which are two of the qualities I would use to describe the store's atmosphere), and an organic conversation between the two of us lead to the purchase of two dining chairs (one of which I picked up from a different location). 5 Stars, definitely recommend this store. It'd be great if Urban Barn had a loyalty customer program to further nurture the way their associates help customers furnish their living spaces.

    I had such a positive experience at this location. The store manager was very kind and helped me exchange my curtains today. I had forgotten my phone at home and she pulled up all my info and seamlessly completed the transaction. Thank you so much ! :)

    My experience at Urban Barn is always wonderful. Their sales staff are helpful and happy to serve you. They have young girls there who are very knowledgeable. Basically my house has been decorated by Urban Barb. I highly recommend it.

    A most pleasant experience shopping for our loveseat. The staff were friendly, not pushy, and very knowledgeable about their inventory. They carry a wonderful line of top quality furniture and accessories. This is reflected in cost however, as the old adage goes," you get what you pay for". We can highly recommend this establishment!

    I am a long time customer of Urban Barn Etobicoke. My husband and I have many items from here, and enjoy the store and the quality of items. I have been looking for couches and have browsed the store recently. The first occasion, and today I have never been approached on entering and walking around. Today, 4 sales associates were huddled around the centre cash while customers walked around. I spent some time looking and decided on a nice blanket; opting not the couch again as my patronage doesn't seem important enough to stop chatting away or fixing fabric swatches. I approached the cash and Neptune asked if I was getting anything else, no greetings. I said no, she asked for my postal code and I provided. She then asked for my first and last name with no explanation, I said no thank you, She replied to look up the customer profile and rolled her eyes and shook her head... I was surprised to even comment or cause a confrontation. She finished with the Checkout and make a point to say that my receipt won't be connected with my customer profile as we were finishing. To the owner/manager... You cannot continue to say you hold your associates to a high standard when there is no basic customer service, or even the remotest polite customer exchange. To ask for a postal code, then a first and last name with no other words at all are not appropriate. I had no idea there is a customer profile as my husband always checks out, nor would anyone without the shortest preamble or a new customer. The attitude from the eye rolling and the shaking of Neptune's head is despicable
